My husband had a medical appointment nearby so I suggested we grab something to eat here before his appointment. I had eaten at this chain at other locations and always had a good experience. However, today's experience was not so great. Upon arrival, we had to wait about five minutes before anyone came by to seat us. Once seated, our waitress came over to take our drink orders. After looking over the menu, my husband ordered the Cobb salad and I got the works omelette. These two items are two of my standards and have always been good. However, my husband received no dressing with his salad. By the time our server returned with the check, I mentioned this to her. She said that dressing usually comes on the salad. I have had that salad a dozen times at other locations and it has never come on the salad. Needless to say, it was a disappointing experience today. read more

Always a great experience here. It's a wonderful atmosphere. We love that they leave the coffee pitcher and water pitcher at the table for us to do refills ourselves. The food is always fantastic, it's fresh and high quality. I had the watermelon juice which is seasonal and it was amazing, fresh pressed in house. Our first visit and everything was great. It's Friday morning arrived around 10:30. Place seems very popular although there are plenty of open tables. Our waitress Jessica took excellent care of us. Food is simply put 5 stars! Good fresh, healthy food. Got the triathlete which is an egg white omelette with tomatoes, onions and mushrooms with salsa, toast and fruit. So delicious but next time I will add cheese to it. Grits are delicious too, they are the yellow grits. My only complaint that made the meal stressful is that I had to pay at the front and it was a zoo, and for me it was very overwhelming and uncomfortable. The servers should be able to run the check. Great food, great service. Came here at 8am on a Sunday and they had PLENTY of seating available. Only downfall of this location is that there's no alcohol. They had this Hacienda Hash during the month of August and it was delicious. Wishing they would keep that on the menu. Those flavors were fire. I got an omelette. It was omlettey. Haha. We made an impromptu stop at First Watch. After checking the app and putting our name in we had about a 15 minute wait, which for a weekend wasn't bad. After about 15 minutes we were brought to our table. Unfortunately they were all out of kids menus and crayons. Luckily I had 8001 items in my purse to keep my little one busy and a phone doesn't hurt either lol. I checked out the menu, then looked over the specials insert. After looking over the specials I opted for the short rib omelette with Parmesan cream sauce. Our server came to our table, was masked. His name was Airius and was just lovely. He was attentive, interacted with the kids, and kept checking to see if we needed anything. I also ordered a cold brew and ordered a kids chocolate chip pancake and sausage for my kiddo. My mom and sister ordered the same thing I did. I have to say less than 10 minutes later our meal came out. This is the first time in a while I've been to First Watch that we've had this quick of a turnaround. My cold brew was robust and icy cold. My omelette was perfectly cooked, the short ribs were tender and the cream sauce was flavorful. My kiddo ate his entire meal, and even a piece of niece's bacon. Orders something to go and the server forgot to ring it in and it took forever - and it was not busy. Came back the next day because everyone has an off day. I love this spot for brunch! We got there around 12:30 and got seated immediately. They weren't very busy, which was nice. It took a few minutes for a server to come over, but she got drinks out quickly and also put our order in quickly! My friend and I both got the farm hash. Absolutely delicious. Eggs over easy, perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes, blistered tomatoes, cheddar Jack, avocado, and yummy bacon! It also came with wheat toast and a side of fruit!!! Great way to start our day. The Carnitas Burrito listed on their in restaurant chalk board caught both of our eyes as we were seated. My husband had it as listed in the burrito form. They were awesome in making modifications for me. I had it as a bowl rather than in a tortilla and without the picked onions. Both of us LOVED our choices. It was the right balance of carnitas meat, scrambled egg, potato, avocado, and black beans. The tomatillo sauce and lime crema were like the icing on the cake. Just the right flavor and not overwhelming. You could still taste the other ingredients. Glad we made the stop here for breakfast and will definitely be back for breakfast during our next trip. We came here on Easter Sunday around 8:00 for breakfast. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. The service was excellent and everything came out quickly. We started with the million dollar bacon, which is a must! I got the shrimp and grits- it was a little bland, but still pretty tasty! Once we ordered our food the server told us that the kitchen was behind because they are were putting Uber eats/door dash orders before the people who are dinning in. Not the best way to run a business in my opinion. After we order our food, we never saw the server again until our food got here 40 mins later. Then once we asked for a water refill and a couple of items that were missing from meal in the first place, the server acted so inconvenienced and was rude about having to get anything else for us. I've been to First Watch many times and while I truly love their menu and the vast food offering, today I was disappointed. Onto to good things, got in at 930 am and no wait, which was wonderful. Our waiter, can't remember his name, was great. Very attentive and pleasant. The food was as usual very good, which is why I keep coming back. My friend had the oatmeal which was so tasty and had an incredible presentation. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which were very tasty. Now onto the low points of my visit. I ordered coffee and when I took the flatware out of the napkin I noticed my spoon was dirty. There was some dry food on it. I asked for a second set of flatware which I thought would be clean. I proceed to stir my coffee and to my surprise and disappointment this spoon was also dirty, and now had a film of left over greens on top of my coffee and in the spoon. I asked the waiter to give me a new set of silverware and a new coffee and as I mentioned before he was very pleasant and he was apologetic for the issues. As for the eggs in my Benedict they were very small and looked like half the egg was missing, no biggie as they were tasty. Hopefully the staff is more careful with the cleanliness of utensils, if they were to improve on that, I would gladly update my review and provide a higher rating. read more
