First the server found that I was taking my Italian sub to go, so they graciously wrapped everything separately so the bread would not get soggy! Who does that?!? Someone who cares about the quality of their food and their customer. I noticed biscuits and gravy on the breakfast menu, and I am a snob and love biscuits and gravy, but I am pretty picky. They let me try their gravy, and let me tell you, it was delicious! Just peppery enough for a bit of a kick, with nice large pieces of sausage. I was drooling over my little taste of this. They make their own biscuits as well, so I will be back soon for this. Restaurant is in a strip mall of sorts, and doesn't "stand out", but inside it is cozy and quite cute. We recently tried Wicked Batter Cafe. Really great bakery but what sets this apart was that it had a great selection of sugar free and low carb options as well. The staff were attentive, informative and proud of their offerings. I asked about what appeared to be Napoleon cake and they did indeed carry Napoleon cake. I'll try that on my next visit. I had the carrot cake and the Snickers cheesecake. Both really solid. The carrot cake was moist and the icy really light. The cream cheese icing came through but was not overwhelming. The Snickers cheesecake had all that was best about both and when eaten, just melded into one delicious bite. Nothing too sweet, everything balanced really well. We'll be back to try more. Retuned to this cafe after a quick try earlier this month. The shop is clean and bright with plenty of seating for dining in. I was able to grab a Too Good to Go Sugar Free surprise bag and was excited to try some new things. A different staff member helped me on this visit and she was friendly and welcoming, just like my first visit. She gave me my prepaid surprise box of treats and I purchased an addition regular treat for another family member. My keto cupcakes were fantastic. I loved the lemon Chantelle cream one best, the other three seemed to be some sort of maple or caramel. The cupcake base was good and the sweet cream on top made each bite of cupcake a yummy treat. My future son-in-law loves cheesecake and the slice I picked up for him was good. Note: this tastes like a key lime cheesecake except there is no crust. For strict keto dieters, it's perfect! It's pricey but to me this is worth it ($48). For my diabetic family members, it was a hit! I needed a little crunch so I bought a Graham cracker pie crust, threw it in the air fryer for a few min then crumbled it up and added a little to the top of my cheesecake. I'm fairly health-conscious, so I really appreciated that they list the caloric info alongside their menu items and have a huge selection of sugar-free and/or keto options.
