Love the garden Philly and mild wings, a repeat customer with the new owners! Nice small area to sit down.

The food was excellent. Thank you so much, and they service was quick. The place was also clean.

Nice hole in the wall sandwich joint. My husband is a sandwich lover so I thought this would be great for lunch. We walked in and it's a true sandwich restaurant. He had the Italian and loved it. We both got combos that came with drinks and fries. The staff were friendly and even delivered our plates to the table. read more

This place was not what we thought by seeing the signs. We thought we had yummy phillys coming and we got processed beef and frozen heated up chicken. We literally had one night and threw out food away and decided to walk out. I am pregnant and didn't feel the food was safe for me to even eat after the smell and texture. read more

Had to try this place to satisfy my cheese steak craving. I ended up disappointed as they use ground beef instead of the original style of the thinly sliced beef. This made the sanwitch taste salty. Also when ordering, if you don't specify a sizen they will just charge you for the largest size. On the other hand, their curly fries is good. I wouldn't recommend this place though. 2 stars just for the fries. read more

...this place just ripped my boyfriend off when he paid $15+ for a specialty double meat sub that was to be a surprise for his brother...when he turned his back, they snuck a large amount of his meat and pepperoni away for a personal snack... ...UNBELIEVABLE!! read more

I use to work in the area and had Philly Connection twice probably within the past 2 or so years, guesstimate though and the enjoyment of food is different eating at home compared to being on a lunch break, in my own opinion. I was shopping for something next door and it was lunch time so I decided to stop here to grab something for the wife and I. The subs, meh it could of been better and I hope the subs in Philly do not taste like these because I'm sure that's what they are known for. I also don't believe I ordered a small portion of fries since the menu seems to only have one size, but as you can see from my picture there was more empty space in the fry sleeve than fries itself. I would rate it one star but the service wasn't bad. read more

The staff was extremely friendly the restaurant was clean and the service came with a smile. I paid for my meal and by the time I put my hat down and got my soda the young lady was telling me my order was complete. I was thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the product I received. I got the 10" sandwich and it was so packed with filling that I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. read more

I ordered delivery the other day and was very impressed. Delicious food and the delivery was contactless as promised. I received a text from my driver as they were pulling out of my driveway. Perfect service. Just ordered for both me and my husband for dinner. I think he will be as impressed as I was! Thank you. read more

I was just in Philadelphia this cheesesteak was better than theirs! Very fresh chopped steak not greasy grilled onion mushroom were fresh and marinated Staff was friendly and repeated back order I ordered 4 different phillys and everyone thought they were excellent ! read more

Went here today to get a Philly Cheese Steak. Was surprised the entire Staff we're Asian. Lowered my expectations for a real Philly Cheese Steak. Ordered the 7" Original, and fries. The sandwich had a strange taste. Maybe prepackaged meat from a Restaurant Supply Store. Finally decided it wasn't worth finishing. Back to Jersey Mike's! read more

Not the same owners. Very disappointed in the bland steak sandwich! I ordered the combo and I got about 10 frys for 13.00. Won't return

Nice place. Staff was nice and fast. Chicken parmigiana sandwich was decent. But the Philly sandwich wasnt up to par. That meat either was old or not seasoned. You guys have a great thing going on there but you have to step up meat quality. Cheese and bread was delicious but the meat is more important. Especially a Philly cheesesteak. read more

This place was the bomb back in 2012. I went in today and the customer service wasn't friendly, they looked mad even though it was empty in there. The lean steak did not taste fresh. MUSHROOM LOVERS BEWARE: The mushrooms are from a can!! :'( Overall it was ok, I was really disappointed. read more

Being from South Jersey and yes we now our Phillly Cheesesteaks! This was a reminder of how i miss home. Active Duty Navy on assignment out of my element, this place was awesome. When i walked in i was a little scared being the only one in the place, i oredered the 10" mushroom and fries to go. Less then 5 minutes i was out the door. I was excited to get to the hotel and try it. I opened the sandwich and thought that better not be mayo, to my extreme pleasure it was not but i was all the white cheese. 11 out of 10. read more

So we went here based on some mixed reviews, just wanting to try something different. The place was empty. The cashier was not friendly: no smile or enthusiasm. When we went to get drinks every single soda was flat, literally every one of them! I ended up getting tea, which was pretty good. Our food came shortly and it looked good. The chicken was seasoned well but nothing else had flavor. I also thought that the chicken would by chopped in cheesesteak fashion however it was not. The chicken was in strips. There was nothing delicious about the meal, not even the cheese! The curly fries were hot which is a plus, but they were fried a bit too long as they were hard. The atmosphere was dreadful. No music or sounds from the televisions that were on. They have military discount (10%) but the prices did not match the quality of the food. read more

All around food was good. I've been here a few times and I've tried cold subs and cooked subs. My only issues is no matter cold or hot, there is always so much oil coming out of the subs.... I don't know how that works with a cold Sammich but it always leaks oil. It usually covers my entire trey with oil by the time I'm done eating read more

Service was an absolute joke. The lady at the register was beyond rude, her attitude was just bad all the way around. She seemed annoyed with us or her job. Most likely won't return read more

We eat out quite a bit and I rarely post a review. I guess I should write a few for the great places that we've been to. This is not one of them. My wife and I each ordered a cheesesteak and we ordered wings for my daughter. Everything tasted old, maybe even freezer burned. The meat, whether beef or chicken had an off putting taste. It tasted like a piece of newspaper. We all ate about 4 bites and decided that the $35 we spent was a lesson learned. We definitely won't be back. read more

Has to be the worst place I have eaten in a long time. Chicken tenders are not ever real chicken. It's processed. The philly chicken sandwich was horrible. I'd give it a 2 if the lady upfront was pleasant but she wasn't either. I can't imagine this place being open long. read more

Disgusting! And not even talking about the food itself. I went in here today for the first time with my husband, who is a cook and knows a thing or two about proper sanitary techniques when handling food. We left before even getting our meal. The cashier, a tattooed male, went from handling money at the register to handling ready-to-eat food products. He did not wash his hands in between, and even worse, he didn't even wear gloves. Then in the midst if that, he kept touching his face, which was full of sweat, and his hair, which was incredibly greasy, all to go ahead and touch food again...without gloves. I doubt this is what the company stands for as a whole, but come on, it was absolutely disgusting. Will not be going back, and you probably shouldn't either! read more

If I wasn't starving I would not have been able eat a little bit of the sandwich. Half went in trash. For $25 my husband and I got two philly subs, and shared a fry. The meat portion Was fine but could barely tell there were any onions or cheese. half the sandwich was mushrooms that came from a can. We were only ones in restaurants with 3 workers, expected owners, sitting at counter watching us eat at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Years ago this place had the best philly in town -- not anymore -- in my opinion. read more

Geno's and Pat's in Philly have nothing to fear here, although I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at what I did get here after reading the reviews for the other location of this chain cheese steak factory, the meat was uninspired but the portions and toppings were more than enough to satisfy. The decor is minimalistic more like a Krystal or a Stand-N-Snack in the good old days than a modern fast food joint today very clean but uninspired . There were a couple of others in there when I arrived a mix of younger hipper people and a geriatric couple. I arrived at 11:30 am and when I left it was getting busier. It's located in the middle of a strip mall right next to Beds Bath and Beyond so parking is ample read more

I went here for the first time today in several years as I moved away and just came back. I was so disappointed. My brother brought me here back in the day and the food and portions were awesome. Today the flavor was meh and for the two "phillys" and two small fries for almost $20 I would have been better off buying scratch offs. I have a 3 year old daughter who wanted my fries, so I obliged. When I gave her the bag she chuckled assuming it was my leftovers. Biggest problem was I combined my wife's fries and mine and we did not eat a single one prior. Oh yeah, the flavor was nothing compared to what I remember and I am still starving as the portion was petite at best. Think before you go here. read more

Out and about so thought we would try this place since never been there. Won't be back. I had Italian sub and had cold which is the way I prefer Italian subs. Rather tasteless. Thick bread and very little meat. read more

Really good and better than all the other places around that have it just as a side to all the other subs or deli style sandwiches.

Being from philly I have a high standard for cheesesteaks for the price of the large cheesesteaks they sell I don't think it was worth it. The portion size was small and wasn't filling. Not the worst I have had but I don't think I'll be back. Customer service wasn't very friendly. read more

It was okay. The meat and mushrooms didn't taste fresh and for the price they probably should be a little higher quality. Restaurant was clean and nice. Staff was a bit in the short side but not necessarily rude. Unfortunately, there are better sandwich places in the price range. read more

Very friendly staff and one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I love how they serve every style of French fry.

Definitely enjoyed my meal here. I had a Philly cheese steak and it was very tasty. It definitely tasted good when it came out nice and hot. The fries are really good as well, with excellent seasoning on it. Service was done perfectly without fail, and no sanitary issues whatsoever. I'm definitely coming back sometime. read more
