I arrived after lunch so the place was empty. Food and service was good, however, this place needs a good scrubbing.

The sandwiches are good. They make the sandwiches just as requested. The staff is helpful. It makes me feel good to be helpful to the first responders by ordering food there. read more

Sweet and spicy meatball sub was not good today. The sauce wasn't sweet at all it just was hot as it can be. I think someone messed up the sauce or something. I took one bite of my sub and had to throw it away. It's been 5 minutes and my mouth is still on fire. read more

Ordered for curbside pickup. Food was ready on time. Sandwich was delicious. This area is a high traffic area and parking can be limited, only reason it was a four star. Keep your head on a swivel in the parking lot. Would recommend this location for good sandwiches. read more

Sandwiches were made sloppy. No effort. The meat was all clump together. I asked for extra oil and vinegar and didn't receive it.

I walk in with my work uniform, I get in line. I let a lady get in front of me because I'm being nice. I get to second in line and one of the associates a white guy with a beard pulls me aside and asks me non related stuff about my job and the person at the registers take others in line disregarding me waiting in line and being next. Then he offers me a small cup for the inconvenience as if that's going to help anything, me being in a rush and on a small time limit to get to where I need to be. Absolutely the worst experience ever, I placed an order for curbside pick up, placed the order 2hrs in advance, I have now been waiting 25min inside the store, the one and only parking spot reserved for curbside was taking by an unoccupied vehicle. The really frustrating thing is that not one single team member has acknowledged that I am standing six inches from them at the counter. I finally get the attention of one young lady, she shared the reason my order is not ready " we need the lettuce to make your salad, we need somebody to go get it, simple task, well one would assume so. This is our go to Firehouse location as it is just up the road from our house. My boyfriend LOVES Firehouse and would eat it everyday if you let him. I am a creature of habit here and always get the Italian. Paul has a few subs that he cycles through. Firehouse is one of my top choices when I crave a sub as I find their sandwiches to have a unique flavor. The service is always fast and friendly plus I feel like it's just a consistent place to eat. I've been a fan of firehouse subs for a long time. This location is on a small strip with decent parking. The facility is a nice size. On our visit not may patrons was inside but we quickly saw the place gets busy because we sat inside to eat. The young man that took our order was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy what he was doing. He made suggestions and offered any assistance. The restaurant was nice and clean. We didn't have a long wait for our order. They even brought our order to the table. Definitely looking forward to going back. read more

This location is seriously SLOW.... it is prime dinner hour but with 6 people behind the counter- shouldn't take 30 minutes to make one sub. The cashier puts calls on hold and can't seem to multi task as an observation while waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting. This was my first visit to this location since I just moved to Oakleaf. Firehouse has always been good but lately I have not been as impressed with the sandwiches as I have in the past and the town center location get their orders wrong a lot so they have been frustrating me lately. This location was very quick and friendly and just like all the firehouse subs they show their patriotism very well and are a local company. I had the hero which has turkey, ham, and roast beef. I got lettuce tomato and mayo and no onions. It is perfectly steamed and the meat is piled high. Who doesn't love that? (Other than a vegetarian of course and they are missing out!) I love free and if you get their app you get a free medium sub. You used to only be able to get the free sub on your actual birthday by showing your identification but now with the app you can get the sub up to 6 days after your birthday. read more

Dropped into Firehouse Subs tonight for a couple Subs because they usually make excellent sandwiches.... I ordered the Club which comes with two good meats plus I ordered extra bacon... My partner got the meatball sub... Well the meatball sub was just fine... However my Club even though it was supposed to have Turkey I believe plus Ham and extra Bacon was VERY VERY SHORT on meat I must say and I'm NOT exaggerating I swear !! BEST eaten in the restaurant! Yes, we've always eaten at Firehouse Subs all over the country -- when we're in town or having to work out of state. Although the subs are delicious, they are best eaten in the restaurant! When you drive back to work or home, by the time you sit down, they are pretty soggy. Terrible service again. Ordered curbside yesterday afternoon, parked in the parking spot designated for curbside, called, phone rang and rang, finally they picked up the phone, told them I was there for my order, and then I waited, waited, waited, by this point my order is 15 minutes overdue. I finally had to walk in and get my food, no employee said anything to me. It's really too bad, I used to get curbside here all the time and never had an issue. Firehouse is Firehouse (tasty hot subs!) I don't have a fave hoagie/sandwhich place, but FH is one of my top choices. This location is new and gives you what you expect. Of course service (cashier and sandwhich making) are a bit slow, but the kiddos are learning so they get a pass (for now). I like the size of the location (maybe a 1/3+ bigger than the blanding locale). The floors visibly needed to be swept (crunchy chip pieces at entrance and around tables), but with the influx of people while I was there called for all hands on deck (there were three employees just standing around though...shrug). It took 15 minutes to get my sandwhich. Overall, its a nice location and I'm hoping with time/experience, service time improves. read more

Service was terrible! Placed two mobile orders to pick up. One order included children's sandwich plus krispy treat. When we picked up order the treat was not included. When we asked one of the employees where it would be located she told us we would have to go to the cashier - with 10 people ahead of us. We left the restaurant 20 minutes later with the treat. No one apologized for leaving out an item or for making us wait behind people who had just entered the restaurant. While most people think it isn't worth waiting for the kids treat, that's not really the point. And no one wants to face a 3 year old without their treat. Bottom line is mobile orders must be correct or don't offer the service! read more

This was my first visit to a Firehouse Subs. I had the Italian with grilled chicken salad. It was pretty hearty and filled me up nicely. I felt pretty healthy eating it too, as I skipped the chips and just had unsweetened iced tea to drink. The price for the salad and drink seemed a bit high, but I wasn't paying for it so I can't complain there. If I was paying myself, I don't think this would be my first choice, but it would work in a pinch. read more

Haven't ate here in months but today I tried DoorDash and even with that they failed to make correct subs. Then when I call them they say oh well we can send you a gift card for a free sub. Their subs are definitely a step way up from subway . I almost always have the #1-hook and ladder, fully involved. It is so good. The beef brisket is also delicious , the cheesesteak is hot and juicy with plenty cheese and meat. This place does not skimp on the meat. I especially appreciate the staff at this location . Eat here very often.... Most the time they have very good sandwiches when the staffing is up to par... Sometimes there short staffed at important times which causes major problems... Meaning sandwich quality lacking ie not made to order or order time delayed etc.... Visited during lunch. Pretty good subs. Good service. Nice interior. I especially liked that they had one of the new coke machines that allowed you to pick from around 120 different flavors. It is nice to be able to drink what you want to drink. I had an Italian sub combo and found it so large that I was unable to finish both the sub and my chips. The meat tasted like quality meat and the seasoning didn't overpower the entire sandwich. Overall an ok dining experience at a chain restaurant. Nothing super special but good quality food. read more
