Great, unique sandwiches! Cute spot and very awesome staff. I'd recommend picking up a sandwich or sitting in for a quick sub!

Been hearing about this place since moving to Jacksonville. The hype matched the quality! I got the Shane and ended up finishing the whole sandwich. Definitely want to come back to try the sweet tea, tater tots/fries, and other sandwiches!

Came here looking to try their wraps only to find out they only sell them at their AB location definitely a bummer but nice place anyway. The staff was kind and it looked like an awesome spot, will have to try their sandwiches soon.

Always a favorite spot of ours when we are out at the beach! My preferred order is an "Angie's Philly" with no peppers. My DH tends to go for the "Dirty Gringo" and my DS (who has been joining us lately) tends to order the "Jack Del Rio" with extra Del Rio sauce! Of course we have to order Tots for the table whenever we go as well. It is always hopping when we go, and tables are hard to come by for sure - BUT it is well worth waiting to sit down and enjoy your sandwich AT Angie's. On our most recent visit, we had fabulous customer service provided by Everlee. Truth be told though - everyone at Angie's is friendly and provides great customer service. Such a fun, delicious place to go to. HIGHLY recommend!

This, from what I hear, is an institution. Best subs in town. But I'm not sure I fancy their fancy subs.... I got the Pueruvian... Ed's Way. And it was something. I am not sure it's for me. But I would try coming back and getting something else. But they were very friendly and the place is surprisingly big inside - plenty of seating, but some seats are ripped up and the decor could use some sprucing.

I've been here quite a couple of times. I've got asked about friends from out of town about how good they hear the sandwiches are at Angies. My first trip here was not great. The employees taking orders acted like I was interrupting their day. I was the only person in the line. My second trip was much better. They were very helpful and all of the staff were pleasant. I've had a couple of items here and took the staff recommendations the first time to have the Peruvian. It was not the "best" sandwich I've ever had and it wasn't that special to me. The second time I choose myself and enjoyed it much better. The atmosphere is beach social. You feel like all the staff live and work at the beach. There was a large group having a meeting the night we visited but they wer courteous of everyone.

Forever an Angie's fan and it's so good every time! Stopped in on Victory Monday and had the special and it was soooo good! Definitely recommend.

El Guapo

Really fantastic experience, we went to the beach and then had the pleasure of enjoying some subs at Angie's. I ordered tator tots and an El Guapo on an onion roll. Tots were delicious, fresh and hot. The sub was really spectacular as well, it was a fun play on a tuna melt and I crushed it super fast. Will be coming back in the future!

Well worth the 25 minute wait. Even though we were starving, the service by the staff, the easy going, old school beach decor and the savoring old school soft drinks were worth our time. Had the fries and the dirty gringo sub, which was cooked to perfection and filled perfectly with each topping that was requested. Family oriented and perfect place to just hang after a long day at the beach.

Always a pleasure stopping by Angie's. Today was a to-go order of a Peruvian on white with crunchies. And a ho-made brownie. Always so good. I went at peak lunch time on a Friday. It was packed but like the well/oiled machine these are, I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. So good! Always a treat to stop by the eclectic Angie's Subs.

The Peruvian sauce is a standout and makes the subs unforgettable. Sweet tea is always spot-on, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating makes it an easy, comfortable stop in Jacksonville Beach.

Long time visitor, first time reviewer. I know, I know. About time…read more What is there to say about Sub Cultured that hasn't been said already? Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and they stand up to bigotry in their own backyard. You can't get much better than that. The only drawback (if you can even consider it one) is just figuring out a good time to arrive to avoid a line. Regardless, even if there is one, the staff moves through it quickly and efficiently. As Sub Cultured is a walk-up window, there's some outside tables to sit, as well as the option of sitting in your car for that car-hop action. Otherwise, you're so close to the beach and parks that taking your sandwiches for a picnic isn't a bad idea either. If you can't find parking immediately at Sub Cultured, there's a little shopping center just next door since there doesn't seem to be much for street parking outside of their handful of spots. All of that said, I'm a transplant to Jacksonville via the Navy since 2004. One of the biggest cravings that I have from back home is a real authentic sausage, pepper, and onion grinder. I can't even begin to describe to y'all how great Sub Cultured's is with that spicy Italian sausage and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. Add a little spicy brown mustard and you're all set.

The chicken was very dry, although the vegetables were fresh, so I wish the chicken had been better prepared. One more thing I noticed was the parking situation. I felt the parking lot is located in a somewhat dangerous spot. While we were waiting for our food, we saw a car backing out from in front of the restaurant and stopping a vehicle that was coming down the street. We actually It seems like the visibility is limited in that area, so drivers need to be extra careful.
