The service is always slow. I have tried ordering ahead or ordering when I get there but no matter what, it takes forever. I usually order 15 to 20 mins ahead and when I get there I have ended up waiting an additional 15 mins. Whether it's busy or slow, does not matter, it takes such a long time. Small chicken chunks thrown throughout the sandwich. I went here on 11/17/2024. There were no other customers, there were 2 young females working and they both looked very unhappy to be there. I ordered 2 subs. The girl taking my order seemed unfriendly and unhappy. At one point she asked me if I wanted a pickle spear but she said it so fast I couldn't understand what she said, so she had to repeat what she said slower, it's like she was trying to rush through the order. I ordered a small sub for myself but when I got my order it was tiny, so I thought maybe a mistake was made so I pulled out the sandwich and I asked if this was a small... the girl that took my order, came around the counter and said yes, and then pointed to a small picture that was on the wall that showed the different sizes. I don't work there. She could have been more helpful and explained to me while ordering that a small is only 3 inch sub. I also asked for double meat on the other sub and she rang it up and it was seven dollars... I told my eating partner do you really want double meat because it's seven dollars and last time we got extra meat it wasn't seven dollars. Then she explained extra meat is only three dollars. Again, I don't work there so when I say double meat, I don't mean a whole bunch of meat. I just mean extra meat on the sandwich.... She works there so she should be more helpful when someone is ordering. She should clarify with customers when they say they want more meat on their sandwich, she should clarify if they mean extra meat, which is three dollars or double meat, which is seven. I was very disappointed with how small my sub was and I know she could see the disappointed look on my face, but she didn't try to do anything to rectify it and she let me leave the restaurant feeling disappointed. Another thing I want to add is do these places not have a professional dress code? Back in the day when I worked at fast food restaurants, there was a dress code to adhere to. She had a giant bullring on her nose, and while she was making sandwiches, she kept sticking her tongue ring through her lips, which was gross. Both of the sandwiches were satisfactory me and my eating partner both enjoyed our sandwiches. But customer service is extremely important to me and if I get bad customer service that is a real turn off for me and it's very unlikely that I will go back to that establishment in the future. I waited in line for 5 minutes as there was nobody at the register then I had to order online to get the 50% off then there was a manager or owner that was ahead of everybody and ordered like two bags full of sandwiches while other customers were waiting on their food and it took them 25 minutes to get my sandwich it said it was supposed to be done at 12:40 it wasn't done until 12:58 the crew was very slow until I think of shift supervisor came in a tall black guy and then once he was there then they really started moving so I don't know what's going on with this location but I will not be going back to this one read more

I don't eat FireHouse at lot or subs in general but I came in on a rainy day with my friend and we ordered our food and left. Once I got to the job I realized that they made my sandwich wrong so I called. Usually it's a hassle with most places to get something remade but with them it was smooth sailing. I even offered to give the sandwich back and he wouldn't take it. He also said for the inconvenience I could get a drink, cookie and a brownie. Extremely poor service. "Welcome to Firehouse..." Should be changed to "What do you want, we are trying to look busy" Four employees behind the counter no one in front of me and 3 people sitting waiting for their food, and none of the four know how to multi-task. All standing around not making much of anything. After waiting 15 minutes I asked about my "cold" sub. I was told by one employee he was waiting for some bacon to be put on top of another person's sub and that he would get to it next. He stood there doing nothing waiting for the bacon... After he finished that sub he did not get busy doing mine. After almost 10 more minutes, another employee yells out my name and extends the bag out for me to grab without saying sorry for the delay or even a thank you for my purchase. We went in and they had no sweet tea, or cherry limeade and the usual no cut limes. They were too "busy" to refill apparently bc when I asked, I got no response. I then ask for a refund and it took literally 10 minutes for the mngr to figure out how to do that. No apologies offered. Others in line expressed similar complaints. I have been coming to this location for 10 yrs and have spent thousands of dollars over the years, and the customer service has never been this bad. I will not come back until management changes. I ordered online through Firehouse's website; but was going to order through the Yelp app which uses Grubhub, but realized that prices are more expensive through Grubhub than ordering through Firehouse's site. When I arrived to pick up my sub it wasn't ready on time, but that was ok because you know I had to hit up their hot sauce bar for some sauces to take home. Called again a minute later and a guy answered, already felt unsure from what I heard.. My friend had to repeat our order and had to confirm the two subs was the only thing we were going to order. Well did it again, and again and again. Went Fire House got us a couple of good Subs.. Man was it ever good. I don't order over the phone I am mainly 3 tenths of a mile away. I like to drive over take a couple of pictures out side, then go In. Talk about clean? Floors are emaculet tables bright and a shiney so every thing was good. Then the order. Super easy little girl at the register was funny but knew just what she was doing. The order and payment was quick and easy. My Sub was a large tuna on dark bread, Maddy's was medium roast beef on white bread hold the onion. Lemme tell ya fast, before I could pull my card out of the machine my order was on the counter ready to go. Here I am starving and I have my order in my hand and I still got 3 tenths of a mile to get home. Made it with out taking a bite of my tuna sandwich. This has one of the best customer service that I've experienced! The manager that works here is incredible. She is able to get orders out, remember regulars and ask how they are doing, and makes sure the restaurant is clean. I'm always happy with how the subs are made, and I like the fact that employees are walking around to carry the subs to you, ask how your meal is, and picking up leftover trays and trash after you are done. I recently tried a limited time sub, the Jamaican Jerk Turkey, and it was really good! Not too spicy, but plenty of meat. read more

My first time bringing in a birthday coupon for a free sandwich, I was delighted to have received not only what I came for but also a card signed by the entire staff with another coupon for a future visit. "That was nice," I thought. It's highly unusual to have a phone order filled with "honey"s and "love"s much less a sincere thank you for choosing Firehouse when I could eat anywhere else. Arriving to pick up my order, not only was Ramonita so warm and charming and solved a minor issue with my order to where I ended up leaving with more than I expected, but I watched her working the room, asking seated patrons how their meals were and joking around with them. What the hell kind of Firehouse is this? I'll tell you what kind...a kind that will soon top all fast food spots, not just because they say "my pleasure" like it's in the employee manual, but because it's kindness and hospitality that comes from the gut. I've been to Firehouse in plenty of cities and not once had bad service. -Cleanliness! I came in for to go order and there was a school band who ate in and was leaving. Before I could notice what a big mess they left, a crew member was tidying up the place. -They have my favorite coke machine...and good tasting sweet tea. -I'm a sucker for tech and the recent promotions and deals have been pretty awesome. I do like this place. The food is good, the place is clean and the people are really nice. I really, really want to give it 5 stars, but they always forget something on my sandwich. This was my second outing to this Firehouse. I ordered a cheesesteak with just steak, cheese and mayo and a meatball sub. I knew when I ordered the subs, and the girl was half paying attention, that this could go a couple of different ways. I decided to throw caution to the wind, "hey, I've said the order 3 times and yeah she was more interested in the person standing in the fridge, but I have faith that she's going to get this right." Wrong. When I got home I had a steak and bread sandwich with no mayo or cheese. I wish I could say that this was the first time this happened, but it wasn't. Looking through other reviews, I'm not the only victim of sandwich malfeasance. I came up short like a 53" person wanting to get on a 54" ride - almost, but not quite. I'll give this place one more try because I'm a believer in the redemptive qualities of man, so wish me luck! read more

I haven't tried this firehouse in a while so thought it best to give them a try when I was hungry and on my way across town. This location was nearby and easy to access behind the gas station in the same strip as rack em up. The reason we haven't been here in awhile has to do with parking and failure to make a sandwich correctly. They often put bbq sauce on mine although I ask for It without. The parking was a problem at that time as rack em up patrons take Over the parking lot so my husband had to drop me off and circle the parking lot. I was greeted and I placed my order quickly, paid $11 for a beef n cheddar sandwich no bbq sauce but then the wait ensued. I know it's not fast food per say but this was pretty darn slow. I watched as the person made my sandwich by microwaving the beef brisket and pouring the grease from the wrapper onto my sandwich, meanwhile half the meat was still stuck on the wrapper (which she then balled up and sat aside and never put in my sandwich). I doctored up my sandwich with the datl pepper sauce right there and then! ( I get it with no bbq sauce). I Was not disappointed in the flavor or freshness of the bread. I like their beef n cheddar and it always will be my favorite sub (although half the sandwich was more meat than the otherwise due to the prior issue. ) If give this a solid four stars if they had not shorted me on my beef. read more

Hot nasty building with flies everywhere. staff whipping there sweating faces with there hands and then making your sandwich with no hand washing in-between. I love firehouse subs and this is the first time I've ever had a bad sub. The bread is usually fresh but this tasted old - dry and hard. I've always had the same portion of meat at every firehouse (locally and out of town) but this sub barely had any meat and it was heavy on the toppings. I requested lite mayo & mustard with the dressing on the side. The condiments were excessive and the dressing was not on the side as requested. The sub was very sloppy and dripping wet. read more
