Chicken with Hawaiian meal: it was okay
Raja S.

Great experience. The chicken they used in most dishes with it (chicken tacos, chicken burrito bowl) was just awesome. The tuna poke nachos (don't remember the name) was also great. The Hawaii meal (luau squid, Kahlua pork, beef stew, chicken) with additional combo was okay. The coconut haupia was great. The cheese quesadilla was good but had a lot of cheese. Interesting that they served most of their dishes in to go boxes. It was good. We asked for bowls and transferred that to plates. Not a good location though. A run down area. The bathroom was not good. No soap and not kept clean Great service.

WOWOWOW SOOOO GOOD!!! We got the poke nachos with kamikaze poke AND kalua pork and omg I'm not kidding when I say the portions are HUUUUGE!!! This easily fed 3 people and we absolutely DEMOLISHED it in like 10 minutes THAT'S how good it was!!! The fish was sooo fresh and the kalua pork balanced out the poke when I got tired of it, everything just worked so well together. The kamikaze poke had that perfect kick and the kalua pork was sooo ono!! Every bite was just . Honestly, come hungry because these portions do NOT play!! If you're looking for something delicious to share (or eat by yourself ), you NEED to try this!! Definitely coming back for more!

Plenty of parking, but you blink and you miss it. The picture of this place is updated. The seating is limited but you can pull some tables together for larger parties. The lady taking my order was wonderful and quick. I ordered the Kalua Nachos, it was chips sauce and 1lb of pork. Highly recommend that you share this, it is a lot of grease and heavy. I would have scored this higher if there were other toppings, especially for a Mexican fusion. There was more spicy sauce than normal as I requested more. Come early, I heard that they run out of chips sometimes.

We came here for lunch on Sunday, and the place was pretty busy. The portion size of the poke nachos, for $29, was ENORMOUS. Fed my family of 3 almost with leftovers. I definitely wish there was more variety though, like options for two fish or avocado/seaweed salad.

This was a happy find. It seemed that most people came in for Da Pua'a Meet the Poke Nachos. Kalua pig on one side and poke on the other, all on top of fried won ton skins. Broke da mouth (It was soooo yummy)! $25 plus change. We also got a lau lau combo, also quite tasty. There are a couple of longer tables that you may have to share. Smaller tables along the walls. Strip mall parking. Scan the QR code on the table for the menu and order online. But when we visited, the server came to our table to take our order.

You gotta try Kehau's Kitchen We ordered the pua'a to da poke nachos with kamikaze poke and WOW, they did not disappoint. The wonton chips were not greasy and had the perfect crisp, the kalua pork was so juicy, and the ahi poke was so fresh! Auntie Gloria makes a mean haupia -- do NOT skip out on this! She told us that all the recipes are her own and that she puts love and aloha in all the food, and you can for real taste it and feel it from her in the restaurant. Pro tip: add chili pepper water to the kalua pork! Perfect balance of garlic, vinegar, and hint of spice. We even saw another customer come in to just buy 32 oz of chili peppa water Can't wait to try more!

Get the Kamakaze style Pua'a to Da Poke Nachos! It is SO delicious and the portion size is SO generous! It's more than enough for two people!

Food tastes like home! Poke nachos did not disappoint AT ALL! I want to try the other nachos. Kailua pork and shoyu chicken tasted homemade! This is what I came to the island for! NO NOTES!

Solid friendly service! Dined in but was given take away containers and plastic utensils...a little weird but okay. The food came out and looked good! I ordered the laulau and bbq chicken. Overall for the price a solid option. The laulau was not dry and had a decent amount of meat and fat. Solid. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked over a flame as it had a nice char to it. Would def come back if I was in the area! The only downside is the parking is terrible and crowded.

The poke nachos were absolutely fantastic! We thought we were getting an appetizer but didn't even make a dent in them between 2 people. So much ahi and tuna. It was heaven. Service was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and funny and attentive.

What a cute little restaurant! It was a little ways away from Waikiki, but it was so worth it! The staff member that took our order was so kind and the food came out quickly. We got the Kamikaze Poke Nachos and they were actually insane. The portion was humongous, and perfect for two hungry people. The wonton chips were perfectly crunchy & were dressed in the most delicious sauce. There was a huge portion of poke, we couldn't believe it for the price! We also tried the poi banana bread, which was super moist and not too sweet actually. If you are looking for a huge helping of poke nachos, this is the place to go!

First time here on 4-28-26, found it on Yelp as we were at Pearl ridge. It's right across the street on the ground level at Westridge. They have an extensive catering menu with 1-2 week notices. Food available here are poke nachos, Mexican, local and Hawaiian. Hubs got the beef stew combo with rice, chicken, lomi salmon and haupia. My Local Girl with ribs also came with ribs, rice, Mac salad and Kalua pork. Menu said two pieces of pulehu ribs but came as cut up pieces of beef on bone about 1& 2 inch pieces mostly bone. Heavily seasoned with Hawaiian salt and sweet. In my mind it was going to be like bbq ribs/ 2 long pieces of bone. Kehau brought out utensils, pitcher of water, took the order, brought it out and was also the cashier- hard working wahine(lady.) Kind of like a hole in the wall vibe, small enough for one person to work the front. Smart they serve the food on and in take out containers. You can ask for a plastic bag to take home your leftovers. Hubs and I both took home our stew and Kalua pork barely touched - easy heat up dinner tonight. I just need a head of cabbage and a sweet Maui onion.

Tried Kehau's Kitchen and really liked it. The place has a chill local feel and everyone there was super friendly. It felt more like a neighborhood spot than a touristy restaurant, which I appreciated. We had the poke nachos, ribs, and laulau. The poke nachos were really good and probably my favorite thing we ordered. Fresh poke with crispy chips and a good mix of flavors. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the laulau tasted homemade and comforting. Portions were solid too. Service was great the whole time. Staff was welcoming, food came out fast, and overall it was just a good experience. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Honolulu.

However, they told me they don't take reservations and to just walk in. Well, we got there and had to wait 58 minutes before we got seated. Pro tip: just have them put you down on the list. Don't listen about not taking reservations for large parties. I found out after that a group of 8 got reservations for 6:30 so I was quite unhappy about that. It didn't help that there was a table with 3 people who were there since 3pm (it was already 7:58 at this point) who were still occupying the tables and the staff couldn't make them leave. They eventually moved them to another smaller table, but they could have done that sooner, just saying. Not the restaurant's complete fault, people can be extremely inconsiderate but there maybe should be a system for dealing with these types of situations. All they had were empty bottles, they were not ordering anything. Anyway, we finally got seated, and as expected, the food didn't disappoint. We got the Tasty Chicken (always a must), boneless kalbi (super tender and flavorful), loco moco (one of the best on the island) and oxtail soup (theirs is pretty solid). We also got pumpkin crunch, strawberry crunch, and cream cheese brownie. Everything was amazing as usual and they all said it was the best food they had on-island during their trip. The food was worth the wait, but, that wait could've truly been avoided. It's not somewhere you take a first date unless you are bowling because it is super loud. It is located in an out of the way, not really scenic spot. Parking can be a bear. But it remains to be one of those tried and true "local" spots that never fail to please. *Rating is solely for the food and reliability of the excellent flavors and quality of the food

Restaurant 604: Great Food, Fantastic Service, and a Million-Dollar Pearl Harbor View!…read more BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): Fantastic island-style food, generous portions, reasonable prices, outstanding service, and one of the most unique waterfront dining locations on Oahu! Whether you're stopping in for a business lunch, enjoying cocktails at sunset, or celebrating with friends, Restaurant 604 delivers a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the drive! The Details: Located just outside Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Restaurant 604 occupies the second floor of a waterfront building overlooking Rainbow Marina and the historic waters of Pearl Harbor. It's a terrific location that combines delicious local food, a relaxed island atmosphere, and beautiful marina views! I suspect most military personnel stationed in the area, along with plenty of locals, are already familiar with this little gem. It's a popular gathering spot for everything from casual lunches to military hail and farewell celebrations. And for good reason! Today, I suggested Restaurant 604 for a business lunch with several teammates and colleagues. Having enjoyed this establishment on numerous previous occasions, I knew it would be an excellent choice. I'm happy to report that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! For my lunch, I couldn't resist ordering one of my all-time Hawaiian favorites, Kalua Pig with rice and macaroni salad! The serving was enormous, with a generous mound of delicious shredded pork topped with green onions, accompanied by two scoops of rice and a hearty helping of creamy mac salad. Now THAT'S what I call an epic island plate lunch! My colleagues explored other parts of the menu, ordering dishes including teriyaki salmon, chicken katsu, and fish tacos with avocado and jalapeños. Everyone seemed equally pleased with their selections. The portions here are substantial, the food is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the location! Another highlight of today's visit was our wonderful waitress, Brittany! She was absolutely phenomenal! Friendly, attentive, personable, and genuinely interested in making sure our entire group had an enjoyable experience. Great service can elevate an already excellent meal, and Brittany certainly accomplished that today! Along with other huge tables. Seriously she did a phenomenal job juggling a ton of customers! Since this was a business lunch, we skipped the cocktails. However, I can personally attest that Restaurant 604 also has a terrific bar! Over the years, I've spent many enjoyable evenings here sipping cocktails, exchanging stories and friendly banter, and watching the sun slowly settle over Pearl Harbor. There's something special about enjoying a cold drink while overlooking the sailboats and marina with the Hawaiian trade winds drifting through. The open-air dining area, nautical decor, surfboards suspended overhead, and panoramic waterfront views give this place a distinctive island personality. It's casual, comfortable, and welcoming, exactly what you want from a great Hawaiian waterfront restaurant. And here's a fun little bit of trivia: Restaurant 604 has even welcomed the legendary Jimmy Buffett over the years! I have a nice picture of him with my friend Bryant. Somehow, that seems entirely appropriate for a place where the waterfront atmosphere practically begs you to kick back with a tropical cocktail. Rest in peace, Jimmy! Fins up! Final Thoughts: Restaurant 604 is much more than just another place to grab a bite. It's a wonderful gathering spot where great food, friendly people, military camaraderie, and beautiful Hawaiian scenery all come together. Whether you're stationed at Pearl Harbor, visiting the nearby historic attractions, or simply looking for a great meal away from the Waikiki crowds, I highly recommend stopping by. Come hungry, bring some friends, and if you have the time, stick around for sunset. The food will fill your belly, the service will lift your spirits, and the view just might convince you to stay for another round! Aloha!
