Fresh fish. Taste was great! Service was quick & staff was polite. Clean space. Limited parking or street parking available. Came here after going to container land for dried marlin and the owner suggested we check his son's shop out. So we came. My friend had also posted about this place. Happy we made the stop! Ono poke! Reasonable price especially for fresh fish. Will be back again!

    So good!!!!!!

This place has grown on me even more than before. FANTASTIC and it's saving me a lot of gas in my car because it's right around the corner!!!!!! Listen, this place is so good that there's no need to go anywhere else for fresh fish. They have all the best tasting fish all in one spot with meticulous cuts. It is a fantastic place!!!!! Everyone loves this place !!!!!

Takeout spot. Delicious and fresh fish can be found here for an affordable price which is RaRE these days... it's in an unassuming area in Mapunapuna surrounded by auto shops, dealerships, etc. if it wasn't for yelp or google I would've never found this place. I tried the Laotian flavor poke bowl. It's pretty good but my favorite is still their chirashi bowl coz that's when the fresh fish flavor could shine. The cuts of the sashimi were amazing, no stringiness and just full of fish fatty goodness. I'd say the quality was comparable to some omakase places! Went in there at 10:30 and I wasn't the only one lol. That gotta be a popular spot! It's such a great spot to stop by when you drop off your car at the dealership. Can't wait to eat there again.

Another 5-star experience! I wanted Poke again and went back to Souza's for a Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl. The sides are consistently good, and their Spicy Ahi Poke is unique - I can't put my finger on it, but it's different from other Poke places I've tried. The texture is smoother, fish is fresh, and there's some kind of umami that hits the tastebuds soooooo good!

This place is a hidden gem! Don't blink while driving down here or you will miss the tiny parking area they have. They do have a couple of stalls in the front but other than that it's street parking. That being said, the garlic ahi poke and Souza Special I had were delicious. It was fresh and the perfect amount of rice to fish ratio. We also called in our order while on the way there and it was ready to go by the time we got there 10 mins later. The shop is clean and bright and I will definitely be back again.

Decided to finally give this place a try after seeing it a few times when driving by. All the fish here is Sooooo fresh. The flavors are all on point. Parking is small in front but there's some street parking. You only come in quick anyways. Great costumer service and they threw in some miso soup for us and it was a rainy day so it was perfect. They're awesome. They can torch the fish if you want, I had them torch salmon because I'm pregnant. Yeah sad I couldn't fully enjoy it but I am definitely coming back for the little nibbles I was able to taste. I'm already hooked. Lol They also got come little desserts in the fridge for purchase and cute hair clips I was so tempted to buy. Hole in the wall spot glad we found it.

I was craving poke nachos and came across Souza's Fish House in Mapunapuna. Although it was a bit of a drive to get there, I was determined to go based on all the 5 star reviews. And let me tell you, it definitely lived up to all the hype! This is a little hole -in-the-wall in an industrial area. There's only a few parking spots in front, so you'll need to find street parking if you're not one of the lucky ones. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendliest employees! I ordered the Poke Nachos (2 choices) for $20. I chose the Shoyu Ahi and the Hawaiian Salt Ahi. I asked if they could separate the poke from the chips since I planned to eat it later on, and they kindly put the poke in separate containers so I could keep the poke cold in my fridge. When I finally dived into my poke nachos, it was so delicious! I combined everything together and it was one of the best poke nachos I've ever had. The fish was so fresh and they were generous with the poke portions. I would highly recommend this place for poke, and I will definitely return soon to try some of their other items!

Can't beat it. It's a walk up place for takeout, and they have the most fresh cut fish that melts in your mouth. Everyone is very nice there. Parking is tough, but sometimes you can just have someone drop you off and run in and then run out!

Stopped by after running around doing errands. Ordered the two choice poke bowl w/ sushi rice , wasabi crunch & hurricane poke. The fish is super fresh and the chunks were cut to perfect size. I like when the pieces are cut on the larger side . I liked the hurricane poke , it is super tasty. The wasabi was nice and spicy.

Souza's Fish House is a hidden gem. I finally, got a chance to stop in. It's located in the Mapunapuna area. Parking can be challenging but it's worth the wait to find one. Staff was very friendly. As busy as they were, they manage to greet us as we walked-in. This place is for takeout orders only. We had the Hurricane Bowl and the Spicy Ahi Bowl. It looks like the proportions are small, but the dish was deep and had a generous amount inside. I gotta say it was super flavorful and tasty with the crab salad on the side. There was a seasoned cuttlefish on the side which was superb. All their fish is served fresh. That's what makes it sooo good! I will be back to try other items on my next visit.

Fish was amazing! Super fresh melted in our mouth with every bite lol. By far the best Fish I've had on island in many many years. Had the Souza sashimi, perfect combination of fish, 12 pieces with sushi rice. Also had Da House special poke and their ginger poke waitress fresh and amazing. My wife had the porque bowl and it did not fail. Services was great It was my first time there a girl upfront was super helpful and made our selections for us. Lol. Parking is super limited, and the order area is super tiny.

Souza's is a hidden gem for fresh sashimi and poke at a great price. Located in Mapunapuna in the old Kau Kau Grill location, the shop is suited for takeout and probably gets busy during lunch. They offer a variety of sashimi donburi as well as fresh poke, and what really stood out for me was the quality for the price. You can get their "Souza Special" don which includes ahi, chutoro, otoro, salmon, hamachi, and ikura for $27. That is the higher end of their selections, with other combinations of fish being cheaper. My favorite of this combo was actually the chutoro, which was extremely soft and had the perfect amount of marbling. The otoro was on the firmer side but was also excellent. I also got some spicy ahi poke to try, and it had a nice depth of flavor. The freshness of their fish really shines through. Even the sides that come with each bowl are elevated. I especially loved the crab salad and their homemade taegu, which used the more stringy type dried fish and had a sauce that tasted like honey gochujang. While waiting for our food, I saw that they also offer sashimi platters, custom sushi cakes, and a poke nacho bar that can be hired to pop up at events. Prices were on point too! Come here for super fresh fish that outdoes many of the more popular spots.

Food was yummy! Service excellent. Greeted and provided with suggestions since it was our first time. Parking could be tricky but would totally come back for more :)

Although they have a clean and comfortable space for dining in, we regularly stop by after church or on the weekends for something to savor at our favorite park. Seriously, it's easy to enjoy their bowls, sushi sets, or bentos anytime and anyplace. We've got a passion for this place. Here's how this love affair started...I discovered Domo when a friend invited me for some sushi and sips at her place. I was amazed at the beautiful platter of sushi that accompanied our sake and wine. My friends are the best hosts! I devoured the bombs, nigiris and rolls (in between sips!). Everything was simply delicious! Fast forward a few months, I order a couple sushi sets to host a poolside, golden-hour birthday get together at my other friend's home. (I know, you want to be part of this squad, right?!). Anyway, using the online order system is a snap! My hubby went in to pick up the sushi and said they were slammed but our sushi sets were ready to go. This time we ordered some ikura because the hubby and my bestie are big fans. Both agree it was fresh and fantastic! And the garlic set with the flash-seared fish and a hint of mayo is a MUST-try. We also ordered a California roll for my friend's aunt who is not really a sushi fan. She delighted in several pieces and even enjoyed the nigiri from the garlic set. Total convert! After enjoying the platters and sets, we had to try the bentos and bowls. This time it's just us and the pup at the park. The bentos provide a great variety and comes with miso soup. The hubby really likes the shrimp tempura with ahi and salmon nigiri and ahi poke. It's a steal at less than $20. I'm a bowl girl myself and like the spicy tempura. The tempura is cooked crisp yet tender. The spicy ahi poke combined with the creamy crab salad and the crunchy ocean salad delights all my tastes buds. It's truly an adventure in finding the perfect bite--and there are so many in this bowl! I also love the seared salmon bowl. It is melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I add the fried onions for some texture. You know a place is top-notch when you can feel confident that anything off their menu will satisfy your cravings. Because this is a Yelp review, here are some helpful tips. For sushi platters, pre-order. The online system is simple to use. Service is fast and efficient if you're just walking in for a quick bite or to grab something to go. Parking has always been easy for us to find in the small lot in the complex where Domo is located. It's right next to Assagio's Kahala. But if you're worried about parking, I suggest ordering in advance and then just picking up. This works great during peak dining hours. If you want fresh, delicious sushi that is reasonably priced be like us and visit Domo Café. You will probably also be like us and want to go back to try more.
