Needed my morning coffee and this place looked so cute! It's right across from Trader Joe's and in the lot of the gas station. There's a drive up window and a walk up window. The menu is straight forward and we were super curious about the specialty drinks. We asked the barista and we ended up getting the island dream mocha and snickerdoodle delight. Island dreams mocha: This one had coconut and macadamia flavors and was delicious. A very well balanced drink, not too overpowering for any of the flavors. Snickerdoodle delight: After the barista described this one I knew I had to try it. This drink uses white coffee instead of normal espresso resulting in a drink that doesn't have that strong coffee taste and is higher in caffeine! When she said this drink tastes exactly like a snickerdoodle cookie she wasn't lying. It's so creamy, sweet, and a beautiful touch of cinnamon. Was absolutely blown away. Most definitely need some white coffee in my life now.

I'm a total sucker for this type of business! Small, independant, someone building their own dream! I ordered their Snickerdoodle white coffee beverage and loved the treat! Friendly service, simply walk up, order, tap and go on your merry way.

Searched "coffee around me" and this little place popped up near our BnB. I'm so glad I discovered this place because the espresso and weekend (morning) barista are top notch. The barista was so friendly and made some of the best lattes my wife and I have had. We went back the next morning and wanted to go back before our flight back home but sadly didn't make it there. Fellow tourist, I know y'all might want to do the whole "Starbucks" thing but it's the same as every other location. Do yourself a favor and stop by here!

I came here while on walk and noticed this cute local cafe! In terms of location, the cafe was by a gas station and Trader Joe's. Anyway, the service was great! I got great recommendations and ended up just getting a soy matcha latte. The taste was wonderful and wasn't too sweet or too creamy.

Classic walk up or drive up coffee shack. Located in the parking lot of the Shell, across from TJs. Great coffee, Italian sodas, and snacks to go!

Wow, this is such a hidden gem! Their coffee is awesome, but their flavorings make it out of this world. The lavender mocha is delectable. This coffee stand is very unassuming, but it's all you could want or need in a coffee shop.

amazing and convenient coffee option in the area! (in the shell parking lot across from trader joe's on madison/18th) 2 shots in espresso drinks for the smaller sizes, 20 oz and up have 3 shots! classic menu, friendly staff, and good coffee -- will definitely be back to try some of their specialty drinks

We got a matcha float with mochi and a hojicha float with mochi. We love the hojicha better. The matcha is prob one of the better I've tasted, but not often you can find hojicha ice cream and milk tea. It was creamy and mildly sweet. So good, refreshing and satisfying! The mochi were ok. It was very bland and not sweet at all. I do prefer my mochi to have a little sweetness to them, like a sweet bite. This was like chewing a bigger non sweet boba ball. So I'd pass on the mochi here and maybe do all ice cream. If ever we're in Seattle would visit again. Update: we came here a few yrs later. The drinks were still good as ever. My husband got a frappe and loved it. We had a salmon bowl which was decent. Not something I would order again here but we were so hungry from traveling and meeting friends, we needed some food. This time no line out the door. We got a seat inside. We came in June this yr, nice weather outside but inside was super hot as they did not run the AC. They had the windows/doors open but no breeze and mosquitos were inside attacking. I can't imagine a good breeze when the cafe is wedged btw two huge buildings. It made our visit this time very stifling.

This comes in a very large cup, with layers of matcha ice cream, cornflakes, vanilla whippedd cream, and mochi at the bottom. I'll be honest that the matcha ice cream wasn't my favorite. I'm not a huge fan of matcha in general, but I have had examples where the sweetness balances with the earthiness better - and this felt like it leaned too much into the earthiness side of it. It just tasted off when mixed with everything else. What was exceptional, though, was the second and third layers. Mixing the cornflakes with the vanilla whipped cream/yogurt layer was awesome. The crunchy texture provided with the creamy vanilla flavor really worked - and it felt like what the essence of a parfait is with the textural and flavor contrast. I think I would've liked this a lot more if the top had been vanilla ice cream instead - submitting a request to have that as an option on the menu. This was pretty expensive. It cost 14 dollars for a single parfait. That's just a crazy amount. I know it's pretty big, but it's simply overpriced. Overall, it's a decent but not very practical dessert. 5.5/10

We got two chicken sandwiches - original and southern bird (a bit spicy). Both delicious and generous servings, but also be warned they're messy to eat! They cut them in half for us so they were easy to share. Much appreciated. Also got strips (comes with curly fries and your choice of two sauces). And an extra order of curly fries that def wasn't necessary for our fam of 4 (2 adults, 4 yr old, and 2 yr old). I got a white peach sangria slushie, too. Not the biggest serving, but tasty! All that ran me just over $70 including tax and small tip as of July 2026. Not a bad deal, and we came home with leftovers!

It 100% lives up to the hype- amazing double fried chicken sandwiches and even more amazing ice cream! I love the different variations of chicken sandwiches they have. We tried the original which had their delicious herbaceous green sauce/aioli and the Homer which tasted so fresh with the veggies and whipped garlic sauce that accompany the fried chicken. The curly fries are a must if you're here & looking for a savory snack. The ice cream is a must, too! We particularly loved the seasonal miso caramel and wish it wasn't only seasonal. There was a line out the door when we went on a weeknight, so I imagine a line is to be expected when you come by, but it moves very quickly as you order at the counter. You'll wait for the ice cream at the counter but if dining in, they'll bring the food when it's ready. I personally didn't mind having dessert first! There's some indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Super casual vibes. Service is pretty quick overall. And we love the convenience that it's right by the light rail station.

I'm usually a little…read moreskeptical of soft serve places since they often use nasty-looking mix, but I'd heard they use milk from Hokkaido, Japan, which is known for its dairy, so I came in expecting something rich -- and it absolutely delivered. They offer two flavors, Hokkaido Milk and Matcha, and I went with the swirl because I wanted the best of both worlds. I usually prefer my ice cream plain so I can focus on the flavor itself, but they do offer mochi and syrup toppings if you want to dress it up. I was actually a little surprised to see the strawberry syrup was sold out, which weirdly made me even more intrigued -- but in the end, I still stuck with the ice cream as is. The shop itself is a small pickup window attached to a larger Japanese restaurant, and it seems like a very cost-effective way to run the business. It also appeared to be operated by just two people, which made the whole operation even more impressive. When I went, there was a long line that stretched a good way down the street, but the wait moved quickly -- I spent about 15 minutes waiting to order and had my ice cream within minutes. The Hokkaido Milk was the standout for me: incredibly rich, creamy, and smooth. As someone who loves a good vanilla profile, I was very into it. The Matcha was also done really well, with just the right bitterness to balance the sweetness and complement the milk. I tried to isolate each flavor in every bite so I could appreciate them on their own, and I'm glad I did. By the time I finished, I was completely satisfied, but low-key wanted another round. I exercised great self-control though :D

I wasn't impressed by the portion size or how diluted the matcha tasted, but I still remembered enjoying the Hokkaido milk soft serve. REGULAR - 6.50 + Hokkaido Milk +2 for M.B.R (Mochi + Brown sugar syrup + Roasted soybean powder) The Hokkaido milk soft serve was smooth, creamy, and subtly milky without being overly sweet. The flavor itself is pretty mild, so I'd definitely recommend adding the M.B.R. The mochi was a bit stale, but the brown sugar syrup added a nice depth of sweetness, and the roasted soybean powder gave the soft serve a nutty, toasty flavor. These two toppings definitely elevated the soft serve for me. Overall, a quick and casual dessert spot in the area. We sat at one of the tables outside and enjoyed our soft serve.
