BUILD YOUR OWN BOWL (REGULAR) - 10 (12 on Uber Eats) +6 for 2x salmon +6 for 2x ahi tuna +1.50 for avocado I made my bowl with half sushi rice/half mixed greens, green onion, edamame, seaweed salad, furikake, masago, and sesame seeds. However, there were practically no masago in my bowl. I wanted to try a few sauces that sounded interesting, so I requested for the abunai, kabayaki, and garlic aioli sauce but specifically asked for it ON THE SIDE so the entire bowl wouldn't be overly saucy or soggy. Upon receiving, I saw that all the sauce was smothered in my bowl. I also got no utensils even though I requested some. At the end, I left half of the rice and mixed greens because it had way too much sauce which was incredibly overpowering. The quality of fish was fine, and I enjoyed it with the avocado. Meh. I think my experience would have been a lot more positive if the sauce was on the side for sure.

Loved the options offered, and I loved my salad bowl. On the downside, although we both ordered the large size with double protein, it was a light meal (albeit delicious). Service wasn't great- we didn't get a text that our food was done and the employee didn't call out that our order was ready. After a 20 minute wait we asked if our order would be ready soon and it had been sitting on the back counter with the to go orders.

This place was made to party! We came on a dreary spring day- I have to come back during nicer…read moreweather because the building is made for it! Also I have to strongly recommend happy hour. The drinks are kind of pricey otherwise, up to $25 for a cocktail! But the happy hour deals are amazing! We started with a rum punch bowl for $22 and holy crap it was strong! It's also so cute and ready for Instagram, and every time one of us lifted it to drink we felt like Poseidon. From there were got some apps to share. The nachos were pretty good and had a unique flavor profile, and you can't beat $12 for nachos in DC! We continued with $5 mini frozen drinks and wow were those a deal! They were super strong and also super cute! A friend got the Pain Killa and again for $9 it was a steal and the most delicious drink we had. Someone also came by with free Jell-O shots and they matched the mood of our night! The whole bar is fun with quirky decorations and great views. I'm sure it gets really busy during nice weather. Plan for it and come for the best deals during happy hour.

3.5. I would come back here again but with caveats. Vibes and concept are 4 stars for sure. Service…read morewas a little lax but very personable so that is fine. But what landed me on a 3 was value, specifically for my shrimp po boy which, at $18, was literally 3 shrimp on a hot dog bun. See the pic. It comes with broccoli but I had them sub tots. I just have a hard time with the idea that some broccoli, a single hot dog bun and 3 shrimp are worth $18. The fried rice was a much better value in both portion and quality and our s'mores platter was pricey at $18 but also quite ample. Drinks were strong. Not necessarily good. But strong. So whether these drinks were 3 or 4 stars for you depends on your goals. Overall, is this somewhere I would go out of my way to visit? No. Is it a chill easy hang if you're already in the area and need somewhere to drink while waiting to do something else at the Wharf or if you work in that area? Sure. Do I like that it is chiller and less bougie than the rest of the Wharf? Absolutely. I just feel like your best bet is to come and have a beer.

My lobster bowl was amazing. They were out of a few things and they allowed me to switch it. The crab salad was more than the lobster amount as for the shrimp tempura hand roll. It was really tasty. The first time I got it the second time it was a little fishy smelling, and I didn't enjoy it.

Additionally, I think this is the worst Mac salad I've ever had. It's always got sort of a sour/vinegar taste that is not aligned with the max salad. I know, love, and have had a similar restaurants from coast to coast throughout my life. I also feel like the fish hasn't been consistently fresh over my past 2 to 3 visits. Last time I came for a Bogo in the evening, and even with the deal, I still couldn't really, fully, justify the price because the fish didn't taste great, the bowls were pretty overloaded with rice, and they were just weren't that good. If I'm desperate for poke, and in the area, I would probably stop by again. However, I'm tired of being disappointed, especially for the price tag. If you want to try it out, I recommend doing so during their Bogo special on weekday evenings. It works for hand rolls and signature bowls.
