It was pretty slammed when I was there so the employees were in the weeds for sure. But I was happy with my espresso. The location is right in the 5 points area so the walk factor is legit. The seating outside is probably my favorite part. Who doesn't like sitting on picnic tables in the end right.

The corn cakes were thin and cooked perfectly and held up to the massive amounts of filling stuffed inside. So flavorful the chicken salad with avocado delicious, the beef with cheese and sweet plantains, so many flavors and textures, one bite and you just wanted more! My friend suggested Taqueria Cinco - Five Points We were just here a couple weeks ago, but my buddies enjoyed it so much, they were ready to come back sooner rather than later. Tonight my husband got the Suadero Taco as well as a Campechano Taco. He says on the suadero the meat was well cooked and and decently flavorful, he felt something was missing from it, but couldn't pinpoint what it could use. The campechano was all around delicious. The sauce that came on the campechano added a nice level of spice to it. And we caught him scraping every last bit from his plate. I got the Enchiladas Verde today because that's just what I was in the mood for and I had never had theirs before. The waitress asked "Chicken or Brisket" so of course, I went with brisket and i am so glad I did, because they were incredibly tasty. Had just the perfect level of spice and bite to it. The enchiladas were served with rice and refried black beans. The beans were very flavorful and delicious, however I just wasn't a fan of the rice. I think, for me, it could have just used a pinch of salt more to it. I am a big fan of their jalapeno margarita, and it's even better with the tajin rim! Highly recommend! Taqueria Cinco continues to be one of my favorite places to go with friends for some great tasting food.

I recommend the vodka pasta and the meatballs, both delicious. That said, I don't think I'd come back with a large group as the food is made from scratch in the back so with 10+ people we had to wait over an hour for our food and some of our pasta dishes were inconsistent . We also got some lattes to fuel our morning and I opted for their special brown butter sesame latte -- yum! The bakery itself is very cute with some market and pantry items available to shop as well. The staff was very patient as we asked a million questions about all the pastries before making our selections. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the downtown Jax area!

We went this past Friday and while they had the same great food (with one exception), same decor and vibe, it seemed as if the typically impeccable service was staring to slip. Drinks not filled, food brought out a different points when we asked for it to be brought together etc. One of the guests requested their sauce on the side and it came right on top of her cold steak. We had to constantly grab anyone who worked there to get help and get served or drink refills. Very atypical of Prospect. I'm reviewing again to be constructive.
