I love Kate Spade, so when they opened an outlet here, i was super excited. I wished this place was bigger and had more selection. They have lots to choose from still, and even their jewelry collection was very good. I just really wish there was more room to move around in this store. You have to get in line to get in, but i never had a problem. In Asia, esp Hong Kong, it's normal to get in line to get into these type of stores. First time encountering bad service at the door. There was just five ppl in line and no crowd in the shop. My husband was in line outside, and I asked if he could come in. Host at the door (petite, long haired lady) cut me off and said no. I explained that he's just coming in to pay for my merchandise, and I could go out in exchange for him to come in. She reluctantly relented but reiterated that I have to go out, which was what I promised. The moment my husband stepped in, and I barely have time to pass him that one bag, she said mdm you have to go out now. I was taken aback. I was going to tell my hubs to use the KS coupon instead of the VIP booklet. But she couldn't even gave us time to communicate. She kept saying mdm now you have to go out. Woah. If I wasn't so shocked by her attitude, I would have asked to speak to the manager. Woman, yes I already said I would go out. Please have some trust and some respect - we are not scheming to cut the line to get into your precious shop. It wasn't even a long line! Ok so I loved the purses I bought and got a pretty good deal for two purses. First of all the products they sell are great for the style and price it pretty much beats coach. The store is always full and there's a line going to the store so make sure you go before 12pm to beat the lines. We were waiting to go into the store and the sales associate ambassador to let customers in wasn't paying attention when 3 people walked out she was busy chatting with her coworkers. I let her know and she said she was "letting other customers out to make the store less crowded." Well she finally let us in after I brought to her attention customers already came out. The lines do go fast fortunately. I walked out happily with a great purchase and was helped out by many friendly associates. :) But from searching the internet they allow student/teacher discounts. I called the store a week later asking if I can get a price adjustment because I didn't know about the teacher discount. The girl was very nice on the other end and said yes as long as it is within a week of purchase they will happily adjust the price with a receipt. Well, we drove up there only to be told no there cannot be a price adjustment because of the special which was a coupon that was handed out that day - the additional 25% off coupon I just wish sales associates were informed and consistent with what they tell their customers. Well, I am not from Livermore so driving all the way there after an associate telling me I can get a price adjustment and then being told no because I already had a coupon used was just BS. I said thanks and walked out the store. So just be informed that teachers and students your discount won't apply if they handed out that 20-25% additional coupon which is like all the time. Right? Love the products/sales and not much of a fan of the customer service. And before I became a teacher I was a sales associate so I know great customer service. Boo! read more

Yesterday we went to this store and because of a sale, had to wait in line before going in. The line was pretty long and we waited for approximately 20 minutes before being allowed to enter the store. Once we got in to the store I realized I needed to use the restroom. I left the store pretty quickly and at the restroom had to wait in line too. When i returned to the store and attempted to reenter, the person at the door (after not listening to a word I said about the situation) told me that I was not allowed to reenter the store and that I would ha e to wait in line again. After I told him - again - that I had already waited in line and that my friend was in the store waiting for me he refused to let me back in. So after I swore to myself that i would never buy anything Kate Spade again, I sat on a bench and waited for my friend. After a few minutes a nice couple we met while standing in line came out of the store and asked why I was sitting outside. I told them what happened and they spoke with the idiot at the door. At almost the same time my friend saw me sitting outside and between the three of them got someone to invite me back in - but it was too late at that point. I accompanied my 3 daughters in the store to find bags. Two customers came into the store with their mask under their chin as they were drinking their beverages and talking to each other. I had to get the attention of a Kate Spade sales lady to make the customer put on her mask properly. Customers should not be allowed to drink or bring their drinks into the store for the reason that they would have to remove their masks to drink it. I also noticed that the antiseptic was not in front of store upon entering the dept. Please make these adjustments for the health and safety of your customers. read more

Update: I called their customer service number they have on their website the next day and they can't help me with it because they only take care of online store issue. They gave me another number to call (800-519-3778) and no one ever answer or call back until the next day I called about 8 times non-stop like a crazy person. She can't help me with anything either and told me I have to call the store. I had no choices left but called them, and I did. The associate store leader Karissa answered my phone right away and apologized​ for what I had experienced that day. She asked me to go back to the store and said that might be the easiest way. I lived an hour away... I understand but I don't have time to go back. I asked her to email me return label with overnight and she took care of it. I am going to receive​ another one today. Karissa is very polite and helpful (she might be the one who asked Kamarin to help me the other day) I will update again when I receive another one they sent to me. read more

Great shopping experience! We were warmly greeted even though the store was closing in 30 minutes. No lines or massive crush of people to negotiate, so we could look around without the frenzy that outlet crowds can generate. Yadira checked in with us after we paused in front of a lovely black crossbody and started doing math calculations (60% off the original price, then an additional 20% off that discounted price).Yadira was friendly and attentive without being overly aggressive; she let us know about a great combo deal on a purse and wallet going on and confirmed our math calculations. It was a great price, but the style wasn't precisely what I had in mind. I was ready to leave empty-handed until I looked at the next shelf below. A black shoulder bag caught my eye. I thought it was the last one until I turned around and discovered 4 more on an adjacent table. Always worth the wait! + THE STAFF The ladies who work here are always so friendly and helpful. They're quick with checking if products are in stock and in nearby stores. One time, I brought in an old bag that I had bought over a year ago to see if I could get it fixed. Since I knew it was past the warranty date, I wanted to know how much it would cost. Without hesitation, the employees told me it was free of charge and instead, they handed me a brand new version of my original bag (since they still sold the style there). + THE SALES Whenever I come here, there's always an incredible sale. The first time I came, the entire store was 50% off, with an additional 25% with coupon and another 10% off of handbags. After Christmas, the entire store was also 60% off! - THE WAIT The wait can be intimidating but patience is the key! I've had to wait almost an hour once just to get in on a bad day. Other other days, I've only needed to wait 15 minutes. Kate Spade has great deals during the Holiday Season. It also helps if you buy/get a coupon book from the Information Center to get extra % off or deals for participating stores. It's a small store but there's lot of great help. I love it that they have their staff calculate for your how much percentage you're saving on special items. How easy is that?! It makes you want to shop some more. I bought a colorful diaper bag that I'm now using for my work bag/get away bag and it cost me less than $90. Let's just say I saved 60% off. This is my absolute favorite branch of Kate Spade, ever. Not only that it's a Kate Spade store, it's an outlet! There is not a lot of Kate Spade stores around in the area. This is probably the only outlet store around. I guarantee that you will find your beloved quality handbags and wallets at a great price! They always (and I mean always) have sales and it's so great! Most of the time, it's an additional 40% off, but there are days (mostly weekends) when you get an additional 20% off the item, which adds up to 60% off! It's super great. I don't really follow what bags come out during which season, but I don't really mind that. I am just here to get quality bags at a low price! Came in couple of days ago after my first purchase at their store two weeks ago (left with 7 items). Madeline helped me out this time with my purchase. She also found my items that i was looking for but what she doesn't know there's more in the back with the mahogany colors that the cashier went to get for me. I asked for 7 extra bags. Love this place ! The selection is huge and the prices are good. When they first opened, it was pretty sparse. But they have taken the hint and are full on outlet now. Lots of purses in all colors and sized with great prices. Basically a smaller version of Coach. Loved the selection both for jewelry and purses/wallets. Staff was friendly. A lot of the crossbody purses were under $100 which is a steal for KS. And they even had some larger purse for just about $100. Hint: Get to the mall just before they open at 10am. For a first time visit to this store I started out excited. As a person who loves the store in Walnut Creek I was expecting the same level of customer service. However, I was severely disappointed. For one, for an outlet store, you can get the same deal at a normal kate spade store. They had a great selection, I'll give them that. I went at 1pm on a Thursday, during lunch hour most likely, so it was crowded. The greeter handed me a coupon and said it was good for the whole store. Awesome, an additional 30% off things that were ready 40% off, I'll take it. I took my purchase to the register. First, I stood there for 5 minutes before anyone said hello to me. Now, I'm not dressed to the 9s like some of the women in the store. Just because I'm in my workout clothes does not mean I do not like nice things. When I handed overt purchase to pay, I handed the girl the coupon and she promptly said "this is only for clearance items." I kindly said I found this over near that section and she rudely said "this isn't a clearance item. All of our items are always 40% off. The clearance section is next to the dressing room." I said that this was near that area. She then told me that I couldn't use the extra 30% off while she rolled her eyes. A manager or shift lead was near by counting money and I saw a smirk show up on her face. I left. I have never experienced such customer service from a kate spade store. So far I've always managed to find pretty good deals here. The day I went they were having 60% off your entire purchase plus an extra 20% off. I got a cardholder for $16. The cashier told me it was a direct transfer from the regular Kate Spade store which is cool. I think a lot of the items were made specifically for the outlet though. read more

The store is alright. Selections are not too bad, managed to get good deals. Unfortunately, the staff there are the worse Kate spade staff I've ever met! Unbelievable rude with pulled long faces. Only one guy and one lady there was helpful and smiling. His name is hosan if I'm not wrong, didn't manage to catch the lady's name. The store was SO packed with happy shoppers but the staff attitudes were so bad that it just spoilt my mood. So one lady with blond hair screamed at my friend as she was taking a picture of a bag to send it to her mum & she didn't know she was not allowed to take pictures. Instead of walking over and telling her nicely, that lady just shouted 'STOP TAKING PICTURES, THANKS'. My friend was so embarrassed as all the surrounding customers turned to look. Bad customer service. Employees don't pay attention while at the register. They forgot to put my $80 wallet in my bag. Cashier was talking and laughing with another employee not paying attention. It took about 4 calls during my breaks and lunch from a job I'm training in to finally be able to explain to a manager my wallet was left behind. When I finally spoke to a manager he didn't seem to believe me. It seemed as if having my receipt was not proof enough. Why didn't the cashier who helped me hold the wallet for me when she noticed it was left behind? Why can't they check their cameras? Shows how unorganized this store is. A lot of energy wasted on top of my money to simply be able to enjoy a new wallet. I did end up getting my wallet although it was an uncomfortable situation when I showed back up at the store. read more

came to the outlets before the crowd hit. organized store, well lit, easy access to browse with a warm and friendly staff that isn't in your face. awesome. first, the discount is 50%+. I'm not a snobby brand whore by any means and if you're not either then you surely won't mind the selection being last season. it's still the same quality bag just yours to adopt at a later date, think of it that way (and of course much, much, much, more fiscally friendly). I don't know how they keep so much product on the shelves with the constant rotation of customers. while I was in there I didn't see anyone restocking but I saw ppl buying and magically the selection still appeared full and untouched. this store offers bags, wallets, along with clothes and jewelry. definitely a place I would go to buy bulk gifts for all the women in my life. My husband felt so good about the price of these bags vs the ones I normally show him that he opted to say 'get everything that you want'. Every time I shop at kate spade in livermore I have a terrific experience. Although there is sometimes a long line, the helpful and informative sales associates make up for the wait. I just got some great gifts during the black friday sale and had a very pleasant experience with some associates, particularly jaid, kevin, and gabby. Kate Spade had great discounts when I went: add'l 40% off jewelry, extensive clearance section that was an add'l 50% off, all newer merchandise was an add'l 30% off. One caveat I might add is that you can't buy more than 2 of the same item in the same print. That kinda sucked for me since I wanted to purchase 5 identical cosmetic bags for my the hostesses of my upcoming baby shower. However, when the SA mentioned that, she offered to go in the back and find other prints. Thankfully she was able to find 2 in a different print, so I bought 4 and my mom bought 1 for me. I also bought a bow ring and matching earrings for myself and another bow earrings for a friend's birthday. Love the discounts & sales! Discounts offered varies...40%, 50%, 60%...not bad for Kate Spade. I've been here twice. They got some great items on sale: gloves, glasses, iphone & ipad cases, jewelry, purses, totes, cross body, wallets, clothes, etc. I came right after New Years Day, Friday, Jan 2nd. There was no line when I came at 12pm. I was afraid all the good ones will be sold out already but there are plenty of nice purses, etc. They're not all vinyl ladies. They have leather as well. I was in the store for a good 30 minutes, debating because I was eyeing on 3 purses! Finally decided on a purse & wallet. I love my Laurel Madison Park! Very comfortable, light & right size for me. I was so tempted to buy a small quilted cross body for $70 but I stopped myself. Customer service was great. Lydia or Leti was super helpful and friendly. Love this store. You can score some killer deals at this location, the store is not big and if you come on a weekend there is usually a line to get in. I live close by so I can go after work to avoid the weekend crowds. The SAs are helpful at this store, they are always around to help you with your selection and tell you about the latest promotions. I recent bought a bag and when I got home I realized the handles have a few faint scratches. I called the store to see if they had more in stock so I can exchange for a better one. Even though they ran out of stock on the bag the SA answered the phone was pleasant, unlike those at OFF FIFTH. I decided to keep the bag since I got it for a good deal. I would definitely return to this store to score more lovely bags. read more
