Whilst driving along the Delaware we came across Kasey's. Ate outside in the garden area which was nicely shaded. The burgers we ordered appeared to be homemade and delicious. (They were too large to eat even half!) Burger Platter came with a pickle spear and quartered whole potatoes. Purchased a home Baker chocolate chip cookie on the way out. Not fine dining but a good little place to eat! Prices were very reasonable, too! Bathrooms were dated but clean.

    Meatball parm hoagie

Vastly exceeded expectations for our first visit. It's a little funky- definitely not a chain or copycat kind of place. But the service was genuine and engaging and the food was really well done. Wednesday is Italian night, and I had a meatball parm hoagie that was a special. The portion was very generous for the price, with well-seasoned and well-cooked meatballs nestled into an appropriate amount of marinara, mozzarella and parsley on a really good roll. The bread was crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside but not soft enough to succumb to the filling. It had to be close to a foot long, for $7.95. The fried flounder sandwich was also good-the fish well cooked with a crisp exterior and moist center. Highlight of the meal, though, was the cherry pie and rice pudding-both were outstanding. We'll go back to try the entrees, maybe on Thursday for the steak night. We sat outside in the shady patio which was surprisingly comfortable and bug-free on an 86 degree day. Really glad we stopped in.

Seafood platter was delicious. Lots of food at good prices. Came with a salad and shrimp cocktail. Just a great place.

    Chicken nuggets and fries

First time visiting this restaurant based on a family members recommendation. Upon arrival our experience was solid. From the simple parking lot to the detailed interior, this place has a lot to offer. You get a decent portion size of food for you money. The service is decent and the people are friendly. We will definitely come back again. Great first time experience.

Kasey's is CLOSED. The new place is Amanda's and it's pretty damn good. Her baked goods are great.

Frenchtown Cafe has been here for as long as…read moreI can remember - I don't know if it was in this EXACT location the whole time, but my childhood memories going back to the early 90s definitely included this. I grew up down the road in Milford, and our go-to restaurant in Frenchtown was always Napoli by the park, but I'm pretty sure we ended up here once or twice. Honestly? Wasn't the best on our most recent visit, and the sky-high reviews might be the result of an inflated tourist bump. I came here yesterday for lunch with one of my OG chums around 1:30, 2pmish. Despite it being a pretty meh weather day, the town was packed and loud, likely at least partially because Bastille Day was the next day (aka today as I'm writing this) - lot of French flags and perhaps a few more tourists than usual. Frenchtown is always pretty touristy on a summer Saturday though, to be fair. We chose Frenchtown Cafe because Piazzi next door was closed; and for me at least, it was nice to get some indoor seating away from the humidity and the high-decibel concert across the street. My first impressions, which were substantiated throughout our meal, was that there were a few too many tables packed into the restaurant, which I always consider a shameless money grab, especially if it's coming at the expense of the comfort of your customers. If it wasn't NYC-level/bumping up against your neighbor, it was close. And any time you happened to stand up, you had to be very careful/cognizant of your surroundings because more than likely, an employee or other customer was right behind you. In hindsight, would have advocated for the outdoor seating. I wasn't in the mood for a sandwich/melt, so I went with a plain hamburger and fries. Eh. The burger was clearly pre-made/frozen meat, and it was SUPER greasy. My chum got a melt, which was also dripping with grease. Hard to find selling points in your entrees when your paws are covered in a substance that's going to literally congeal into lard at some point if you don't clean them. Hard to pivot, but beyond that, the burger was at least cooked to my specifications (medium rare). The fries were by far the biggest selling point - perfectly crispy, just the way I like it. The service was just okay. Our waitress seemed very nice but wasn't the most attentive and beyond getting the check, never checked in to see how the food was. It WAS busy in there, but the waits for everything were a bit longer than they should have been. I doubt I'll be back any time soon, though I recall a lot of people coming here more for breakfast - that's probably the play if you're set on frequenting what was for us a mediocre establishment.

Our original plan was to go to Ironbound Farm but they closed early and one of the staff recommended The Little York, and boy was he right!! We both had some delicious cocktails, recommended by our amazing waitress and then shared the fresh strawberry salad with burrata which rivaled any five -star salad I've had in Nee York!!! My daughter is gluten-sensitive so she had their gluten pizza with chicken which she said was awesome! I had one of the daily specials, a chicken parm upside down pizza. When it arrived, I questioned if it was the small as it was that big--and tasty! So, to wrap it up, even if it's by an accident , make sure to check out The Little York; we're so glad we did! The service was really good. My friend and I split a burger for appetizer. The burger was amazing. You did not have to do anything to it and I'm a condiment person so that says a lot. I got the strip steak, which was a decent size came with sides not the best but not bad at all. I definitely will be back to have that burger again and also I wanna try the pizzas there. It looks so good.
