    Kielbasa Kolache

GO! That's the message! Just GO! Go for breakfast, brunch, YES! Get the coffee get the Kolache's & the donuts GO GO GO! First bite I said "oh yes, I'll be back tomorrow" The Thai tea was fantastic ! I also had a regular latte, NICEEEE The service was great. It's kind of small inside so don't expect to sit down me eat BUT be close enough in case you wanna go back in and buy more! I can assure you, YOU WILL! The strawberry donut TASTED like a nice strawberry! It was perfectly glazed omg! Just thinking about it oooooo! I had 3 donuts and 1 Kolache (the beef kielbasas one) and I didn't feel nasty afterwards or on a nasty sugar rush which later turns into a crash. It was the perfect amount of satisfaction & more joy than I can explain. JUST GO! You're welcome in advance! I cannot wait for breakfast tomorrow! Here are photos from today.

One word, well one item... Spicy Boudin Kolache. I have yet to try the doughnuts, but I was told by a coworker that they have these Boudain Kolaches and these were amazing. So if you are ever near this place and are reading this review, do yourself a favor and get yourself a spicy boudin kolache.

Sausage croissant sandwhich, bacon, egg, and cheese kolache, plain donut hole, and blueberry cake donut

I have tried a lot of kolaches throughout the city and I can honestly say this is one of the best. The bread was soft with a little crust that gave a nice crunch. The croissant sandwhich and donut hole where perfect. The only down side was that my blueberry cake donut seemed to be cooked a bit to long. All in all I will order from them again.

Amazing, friendly customer service! I am always greeted not by just one employee but, every employee, when I walk into the store. Prices are completely affordable for the amount of food you receive. The Kolaches are huge and absolutely delicious! The dough used for the Kolaches is awesome, not too dry and not too sweet! I hadn't been to this location since their soft opening weekend a few years back, but I will definitely be stopping a lot more often! Make sure to try their red velvet donut holes! Best kolache place in Houston, hands down!

Great tasting kolache with eggs, cheese, and potato.

In the mood for something simultaneously sweet and savory? What about a great breakfast dish that doesn't require any utensils (maybe just a napkin to hold it with if you desire)? Got your attention yet? Karma Kolache is a great place to pick up a yummy treat... or two. The staff member was quite nice, friendly and polite. After taking a long look at all of the offerings (and noticing that weren't many plant-based options) , I selected cheese-egg and grits and eggs, cheese and potatoes kolaches. Unfortunately, I was told that the former was not available, but the latter was. So, I grabbed that, a strawberry and cream cheese pastry (looked similar to a turnover), and a vanilla iced coffee. My total came to just under $12 (including 15% tip). While I waited for my items to be warmed, I had the opportunity to check out the cute seating area, coffee cart, and eyecatching artwork. It looks like a great place to have a small, intimate book club meeting.. or first date.. I was very excited to try the kolache, but confused and somewhat disappointed to have received a potato, egg, and cheese instead of a cheese-egg and grits kolache. Don't get me wrong, it was still delightful, but my taste buds were excited to try grits within a kolache. I must also note that I would've preferred a little bit more filling as the savory notes were being overtaken by the sweet taste of the bread. I had a great experience overall and will likely return soon.

I probably live about 10 donut/kolache shops away from here but I drive the extra few miles and pass up those other shops to get what I really want. That's how much I enjoy their offerings. I always get the same thing. Chicken feta kolaches and red velvet donut holes. This kolache I swear has an entire chicken breast in it! I recently discovered the apple fritter that's unlike any other. It seems they may soak it in a maple syrup to give it that extra kick because it's pretty tasty. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program. I recently received half off my order and free donut holes!

Stopped by to try a new Kolache spot and 4.5 stars is incredibly overrated. Now the service was very nice. Friendly. Patient. All the things you want from the customer service side. The food however... it's just not good. Sadly. They have a lot of options so MAYBE I tried the wrong things but when bacon egg and cheese is barely edible you know something is amiss. Tried a couple options. BEC as listed above as well as sausage taco and a couple cronuts. The cronuts were a little odd because they were glazed. Very tough dough and heavy handed on the vanilla. All in all. Not for me. But needs a second chance in the future.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The Dubai crepe was super rich and creamy and nice large portion size. The strawberry mousse cake was frozen solid, so I was not able to eat it right away but it was a lovely mousse with jelly fruit filling and a thick chocolate crust. Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. I ended up paying for fast passes (they do release free fast passes, but those get scooped up quickly, and I was able to pay $3 per ticket on eventbrite to snag fast passes). Our pass was for 1pm and we were inside by 1:10pm. They do reserve the tables initially for the fast passes, at least when we came in at our time and it was great because I couldn't imagine being here without a table since I had a group of little ones with me! The staff were super friendly and worked as quickly as they could. There was a little bit of stress because of volume of orders and people, but they did the best they could and handled the traffic well. We got a variety of drinks and each enjoyed them-- I will say, all of the drinks are on the sweeter side, but definitely standard for kids. We literally got one of everything on the menu and I wasn't able to grab photos before the kids enjoyed them, but that's the whole point! The add ons can become pricey, but for the enjoyment of your little ones, it's definitely worth it! For food, we got the Derpy spam rice, ramen and grilled cheese. The kids all really enjoyed it and definitely wanted to come back for the next pop up themed cafe!

Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by.
