Theres a large seating area with a warm fire pit, which was a great surprise. I ordered the de La Rosa Mazapan Latte, which I asked to be made "less sweet." The employee perfected the sweetness for me and although I knew it has a peanut butter base, I wasn't expecting to find an actual chopped peanut towards the end of my drink. They stamp their cups with the verde, "walk by Faith," which was a nice surprise.

This little place is the cutest freaking spot on Aldine Westfield. You pull up and it's like a Hawaiian Tiki hit, it's covered but open air so you get all the sounds and smells of the neighborhood. You walk-in and there's a barber/salon container shape to the left, available containers spaces to the right and you dead into a coffee shop and bus of deliciousness! In celebration of National Coffee Day, they had a buy one get a small free drink, which is the best thing for me on account of I really wanted a flight of all their Hispanic inspired flavors!! BTW a flight of your coffees is actually a great idea woman!! Anywho I knew I wanted the Mazapán, it taste just like the La Rosa, even had chopped peanuts on top I was torn between the Guadalupe or yhe Abuelia, the woman of the house suggested Abuelita and so I listened to mama! They were both cool and yummy and decadent! There's a a giant fire pit waiting for the fall and patio seating with jenga or a roof top covered patio if you have time to sit and enjoy your coffee. Wherever you're in the East Aldine area, pop in say high, grab a cup of coffee or something from their menu and take in the vibes and scenery!

This cozy café in North…read moreHouston has become one of my absolute favorite places, and honestly, the name fits perfectly! It really is a "must go." From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It's the kind of place where you can instantly relax, whether you're starting your morning or winding down after a busy day. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern and homey. The décor is simple yet stylish, the lighting is soft, and the music is never too loud. Every time I visit, it feels warm and comfortable, like a place made for good conversations and quiet moments. The staff always greet me with a smile and take the time to make each order right. They remember faces, favorite drinks, and even ask how your day is going, which makes every visit feel personal. Now, about the coffee, it's incredible! You can taste the difference in quality with every sip. The beans are fresh, and the drinks are smooth, rich, and never bitter. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla latte and the caramel macchiato. Both are balanced perfectly, not too sweet but full of flavor. On cooler days, I love getting their hot mocha or matcha latte. They also offer plenty of non-coffee options, which is great for anyone who just wants something cozy and refreshing. Their food menu is just as impressive. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, and breakfast options that are always fresh and delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the muffins taste homemade. I tried their slice cakes once and have been hooked ever since -- especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. Everything pairs perfectly with their drinks, and it feels like the kind of treat you can actually enjoy guilt-free. The shop itself is a great space to hang out or get work done. There's free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for studying or working remotely. I've spent several quiet mornings there with my laptop and coffee, and it's always peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Must Go Coffee checks all the boxes: amazing drinks, great food, friendly people, and a comforting atmosphere. It's not just another coffee shop, it feels like a community spot that genuinely values its customers. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. If you're in Houston and haven't tried it yet, I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends, or looking for a peaceful place to relax, Must Go Coffee is the perfect spot. It's easily my favorite coffee shop in the city, and once you visit, I'm sure it'll become yours too.

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Starbucks - I-45 & West Rd. (Houston)…read more Being polite is nice, but there needs to be a genuine, non-forced balance between baristas and customers. I have visited hundreds of Starbucks locations worldwide and evaluate each store through three lenses: its setting, its atmosphere, and its customer interaction. Most assessments are based on extended visits--typically over five hours per location--observing how the space operates throughout the day. When time-constrained, I evaluate the store through the efficiency and quality of the To-Go experience. Reviewing both formats provides a complete view of performance. Although many locations follow the same operating model, meaningful differences appear in execution. The most consistent variable is staff engagement. In most stores, baristas actively shape the customer experience; only a small number simply going through the motions. Let's grab your favorite beverage and explore this location together. NEARBY: 4-Star If you're traveling I-45 Southbound, it's right off exit 59. Near this location is mini strip mall with shopping, and dinning. If you're traveling by air, it's conveniently located 15 minutes from IAH Airport. I stopped by for few hours after dropping off family. AMBIENCE: 4-Star Looking at it from the outside it's clean with small patio seating facing the highway. Parking lot is decent size, including additional spaces around the building, shared with other businesses. During peak hours, expect Drive-Thru lines to be long, wrapping around the building and blocking your parked vehicle(s). Once you step inside, you will be greeted by baristas who are busy keeping up with peak hours orders. Being that it was a weekend, they were getting influx of customers every twenty minutes, sometimes lining up from the outside. Since one of their main doors was broken, they had a sign directing everyone to use the door by the patio. Upon entering, you will see Mobile Order counter on your left side. On your right, they offer three round tables and six chairs. To place your order, go straight towards the merchandise shelves. Expect to be waiting at least fifteen minutes in peak times. The lines inside were long and it was partially due to customers unaware which line to stand behind. Some were waiting to pick up their orders while some waiting to place their orders. They do offer additional seating by merchandise shelves. Couch-like seating with outlets, few tables and chairs. I would have stayed here longer, but their Wi-Fi was extremely spotty. I would not recommend this location if you're coming to work. A CUP OF PATRON CARE: 4-Star The baristas overall did a great job accommodating each customer. Regardless of being extremely busy, they were efficient and well staffed with at least ten baristas. I observed the greeting of customers. It felt more forced than genuine. Which I don't blame the baristas nor complaining. They are too busy making orders right and efficiently and are expected to greet every single customer. Being polite is nice, but there needs to be a perfect balance between baristas and customers. This cafe is seeing somewhat lack of care from cleaning perspective. They were so busy here that they had no staff to come and clean the restrooms or empty trash cans that were getting full. Same goes for inside cafe space. Here, they focus more on drink and food orders instead of balancing between keeping cafe clean and preparing orders. Again, not necessarily a bad thing, considering I was one of the few sitting awhile and working. The restroom towel dispenser was loose and looked like it's been neglected for a while. The wall portion bellow it has seen neglect too, from all the wet hands grabbing towels. I would give this location 4 stars.

Allowed me to sample sugar levels with my drink to make sure I liked it. Came out fast (granted we were basically the only ones there) Menu - lots of options to choose from n is aesthetically pleasing. Also offers food like corn dogs n noodles. Although my drink was good, I do feel like I've had better mango green tea other places. Some other drink recommendations r the matcha cloud n tiger taro (very creamy n on the sweeter side). The viet coffee was apparently too bitter even after stirring but is doable. Price felt reasonable for the drink portion. Ambiance - absolutely love the decor and vibes of this place. Ample space and lots of seating arrangements that can accommodate various group settings or purpose of coming here. Although there seems to be a chiller area to study n work, the amount of games there makes it better suited to be a friends hang out place. One thing I did dislike though is how angled the TV/menus were. Made my neck crane just to read it. I'd recommend making it angled at a more customer friendly angle
