Beef vermicilli
Paul B.

Don't let the location confuse you. This mom and pop restaurant is amazing! My coworker and I came for lunch and we're not disappointed. Overall, super friendly couple who owns it. We got egg rolls, beef pho and beef vermicilli. 4/5 eggrolls 5/5 beef verm 5:5 pho, solid Very home cooked style and not overdone. Quality for what you pay.

Low quality deli meats with wilted lettuce and no flavor whatsoever BLT.

The grilled chicken ramen noodle soup is terrible, the broth is pretty much a diluted tomatoe soup. Tomatoe paste?!?! And the chicken was nothing like... actually, let me post the picture. Next: the BLT. The meat was not fresh. I light as well have bought a sandwich from the gas station, I've actually had better tasting turkey and ham Sándwiches from their. Lacked flavor. The meat looked like they bought packaged meat from Somewhere lacking quality. I'll attack the picture too. Long story short, I don't recommend the grilled chicken ramen or the BLT. Other people have commented other plates from Here and maybe they are good, but I had to buy a second meal Because the first was terrible and even that one was bad too. Im never coming here again.

Friendly people, and the food was delicious. The portion was large, so I had plenty. I'll be back!

Hidden gem inside business building 505. Don't let the business building shy you away. All the food here is delicious and affordable. The owners are really nice and accommodating. Highly recommend! Must try

I order from them regularly... I work in the building next door to the one they have their business out of and they deliver it to my office. . The owner and his wife are so sweet and accommodating. The food is cooked fresh, healthy, and is great value. I highly recommend their beef stir fry with rice! It is delicious and has a nice kick.

yum!!!

Great food and very sweet owners. Must try! I suggest the egg rolls, chicken wing combo as well as the fruit tea!!! :)

Vegetable lo mien, great portions and good price!

Customized a vegetarian/vegan lo mien! It was full of fresh veggies and delicious! Owners were so nice and sweet. Fast service and a great place to grab a quick lunch. I will definitely be back!

Suffice to say, I read almost all the reviews on here prior to sharing this experience (still…read morelooking for this restaurant on google, which is where I typically write all my reviews - good/bad). Let me start by saying that Jamie the server is exceptional at what he does and is 95% of the time doing it by himself. That being said, he gets my grace and he always aims to please his customers in my opinion, even if it takes him some time to accomplish it, and that I believe customers value generally. The food here was always good in my opinion, especially for where we were. When he is not around, I guess you could say "all hell breaks lose". There is a female that works here on the weekends and she is horrible, if that is any way to describe the most horrific restaurant experience one could have. While it is clear that most of these reviews are a few years back, mine is quite recent (March 2026). I give people the benefit of the doubt and it was my 2nd experience with her that did it. As I always say, when people show you who they are, believe them. She sucks and she does not belong in "any" environment that has customer service as their goal because she knows not what that is. When I walked up to the bar to place my order, 2 other females that I am familiar with were sitting there apparently waiting on her to serve them as well. She acknowledged me with an attitude after I nudged her (because I was standing there a while and was being ignored). And yes, she was very present on the cash register doing I don't know what, that could have been more important than serving waiting customers. Once enough time had passed, I exchanged words with the other ladies waiting, only to find out that they too had been sitting for a significant period of time waiting on her. Once I made it clear that there was no reason for me to wait 40 mins for a glass of wine while the server was present (because this particular evening, that's all I wanted), I walked away, and they did shortly after as well. A few minutes later, in reiterating my experience to another party, I was told that 4 other persons walked away from the restaurant a few hours earlier because of her. So in total, that day (it was a Saturday), this restaurant lost the business of at least 7 people (that we know of) because of 1 bad employee. As a business owner, that smells like defeat. I hope the owner sees this and gets rid of her. I am not one quick to see people lose their jobs for any reason, actually I am quick to beg an employer to let the employee keep their job, but not this time around. She belongs behind a closed door where she has zero contact with the outside world. Despicable. The reason I'm just now writing this if you're wondering, is because I just left a very popular busy restaurant and the service, ambiance and food were all top notch. So I came on here to write a god review for them, then I remembered this bad experience.

Jam Session is sold out every other time I'm here, which is understandable as it's the most delicious beer I've ever had (sweet though so heads up if you're not into that, although you're missing out). Today, I had the Butter Beer. Yes, Butter Beer. It tastes like beer with butterscotch, and it's exactly what I imagine the stuff at Hogwarts tastes like. Dalton recommended it with salt, and I gave him a look but tried it both ways - turns out he was correct. Do try it with salt. Speaking of salt, don't sleep on the food either. Their mac and cheese is delicious, and I haven't tried other stuff but the chicken looks crispy and yum, too. The open air design makes it hot at first, but after the sun down and the moonrise, the breeze comes through - and that's what a balmy summer night's about, right? Chill company and a cold beer in friendly neighborhood vibes? Two free parking lots plus street parking.

So, there is a parking lot right off the service road of the highway. Then you walk down the road a little ways to a chain length fenced in area that has weeds and grass knee high. My 1st thought was "what in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre trailer park trash shit is this place?". I like adventures so I went in anyway and I am glad I did! City Acre had about 15 different beers on tap and I got my usual flight. I got a west coast IPA. a strawberry chocolate sour, a Belgian, and a porter. Flannel weather was the porter, and it tasted like a thin mint Girl Scout Cookie. Delicious. Everything was great. The strawberry chocolate sour was a tasty treat and I usually hate sours. The beertender was super friendly and she gave great suggestions. They have a kitchen onsite that looked good, but I had already eaten. Maybe next time. My bad on prejudging but cut the damn grass

Hippo Burgers popped up on my Yelp search and was not too far away, so I bookmarked it. Could have went to the Popeyes near by, but I really had a taste for a burger. Reviews were solid, so I figured why not?! Drive was bumpy to HB, but that is typical for the Aldine area, so drive carefully! Parking lot was plentiful even during lunchtime, but I did arrive just before 11:30 so I may have missed the lunch break traffic. Still about half of the restaurant was filled up. The menu is straightforward and outlines the ingredients on the burger. Desiring a burger with bacon, I ordered the BLT Burger- without mayo added mustard. You will find that the burgers are not too overly inclusive with a bunch of toppings but include one ingredient that makes it unique enough to make a statement (i.e. bacon, mushrooms jalepanos...This gives HB time and focus to make an oustanding meaty and flavorful patty to showcase their burgers which gives it that homemade burger vibe. Plus the order came out quick! Portion size was generous and worth the price. Very tasty burger that will keep you full the rest of the day. I cannot forget the fries, which came out fresh and hot. A pinch of salt- just how I like them, which was the deciding factor for me to eat at HB versus driving back to training and risk my fries getting cold! I gladly indulged in every single bite of my burger and fries. Plus, I love that they have Pepsi versus Coke beverages. They sell one cup size for fountain drinks. Dining in? free refills! I also liked that the tables are spaced out and give people room to eat. Tables provided plenty of paper towels as well as you sink your teeth into your burger and possibly get a little undignified. No one will blame you. Good food deserves to be devoured and I most certainly will be back again to indulge accordingly.

The staff was so welcoming and pleasant. Our server was kind and attentive. Every single thing we got was amazing. The stuffed mushroom caps were incredible. I had the gnocchi with light red sauce and alfredo on the side. The red sauce was good but I did prefer the alfredo. My friends had chicken parm and one of the lasagnas and both said they were amazing. A table nearby got a pizza that not only looked great but smelled sooo good. We also have a book-signing while there, for anyone who would like the book I wrote titled, "My Story - My Life" - Anecdotes & Amusements. Shannon is our server, and we started off with waters and their Garlic Bread, which is very Garlickylicious with lots of Garlic. This Garlic Bread makes your mouth drool as you enjoy each bite, then lick your fingers after eating just one piece - that Garlic is delicious. Then you go back for more, licking your fingers after each one you devour. I just made my mouth drool a little. We visited with Matt and Shannon for a while. Then we ordered their "STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS"; Mushrooms stuffed with Spinach, Italian Cheeses & Crawfish topped with melted Mozzarella. We LOVE this dish, and it always comes out perfectly baked with a lot of Stretchy Mozzarella and some Mighty Tasty Mushrooms. I also ordered their House Salad with House Italian Dressing. My salad and the STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS were served at the same time, and my Wife and I started in on those Mushrooms. This Cheese does stretch way up high, like you need a pair of scissors because it's hard to break; it just keeps wrapping around and around. But that's okay because you just get more to enjoy. These STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS are one of the favorites enjoyed by Lasagna House, and once you try it, you know why. Right when Lasagna House opened for lunch, there were lots of customers coming in to eat and also picking up To-Go orders. This place is busy. There is also some soft background music playing, creating a very relaxing, comfy atmosphere while you are enjoying some of the finest Italianliciousness around. Shannon and Matt earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and will keep it with the others they were awarded. All the Staff at Lasagna House-1960 are the Best at what they do, and they do it very well. Check out Lasagna House-1960, - Whatever you order will make your mouth drool, and they do provide you with large napkins. We were there for a couple of hours enjoying the music, Italianliciousness, Matt and the Staff before leaving for the Hotel
