There was a few choices that wasn't on display and she was able to let us know right away that they have more in the back, we were looking at the goat cheese and fig option. We ordered the 6 pack and it was stored in a very nice box with all the flavors on the side of the box so you can remember what you picked. We had blueberry vanilla bean, fruity pebbles, milk chocolate, lavender white chocolate, biscoff, and fig /goat cheese, When biting onto the macaron, it doesn't apart and the insides were still solid. The mac and cheese kolache was good, but that was a little too much carb-on-carb for me. Throw some meat in there and we're talking. Egg and bacon was the safe pick, but what makes ALL of these good is the dough. It's super soft with just a little sweetness. We also tried the macarons, and the crème brûlée was easily my favorite. The cake itself was adorable but also delicious. Because I mentioned it was for a birthday she even included a little candle. We had a small mishap where she got the date of when I needed my cake by wrong so when I went to pick up it was not ready, but Hannah was able to deliver me my cake later in the day and even refunded me! They were posting discounts on facebook for orders placed. My gf (and ME) just simply love macarons, but they are just so freaking expensive. So we have been holding back but this new place was offering quite reasonable prices so I gave them a try. They offer direct pick-up or free delivery up to 7 miles for FREE with at least an order of $40 and it is $1 surcharge for every mile after that. So I went with the $40 option of two dozen. I got a mixed variety of flavors from vanilla, almond, white chocolate raspberry, chocolate, salted caramel, and lemon. My favorites were the white chocolate raspberry and lemon. The chocolate was semi-sweet, I LOVE the super sweet, but if your taste preference is for not so sweet chocolates, this might just be your spot! They also offer cookies, but on this order I was only looking to check out the macarons. They came in a cute little white box. My gf and I were quite impressed!

I came to Houston from Austin for a concert and decided to stay an extra day. A friend had highly…read morerecommended this coffee shop, so I decided to stop by and support a local business. Unfortunately, I left incredibly disappointed!!! While sitting inside, I saw a man who appeared to be experiencing homelessness politely ask a customer outside if they would buy him something to eat because he was hungry. The customer said no, and the man walked away. I didn't witness any harassment or confrontation. I decided to offer to buy him something myself. He said yes, so I went inside and ordered him a croissant and water. The employee at the register initially told me they weren't supposed to sell food if it was being purchased for someone experiencing homelessness. After I explained that I had already offered, she agreed to process the purchase "this time." After I gave him the food, the owner Frédérick Fortin approached me. He told me that this man had been coming around for several days and was "harassing customers" by asking them for food. He explained that it was frustrating from a business perspective because customers come and go and when they do this he is left to deal with the situation!!!! I told him I understood his concern, but what I personally witnessed was someone politely asking one person for food, being told no, and walking away. I made my own choice to help him. What I found most upsetting was being made to feel that I had done something wrong by purchasing something with my own money and choosing to give it to someone else. Once I purchase something, I should be able to decide what I do with it! I also explained that I had come to this shop because it was highly recommended to me. When I expressed my disappointment, the owner's response was essentially that if I didn't like his business, I didn't have to be there. So I left!!! I believe businesses can have boundaries while still treating people with empathy, respect, and kindness. Those are values I personally choose to support, and a business that doesn't reflect them is a business I'm not interested in supporting! Deff not coming back!!!
