These macarons are beautifully crafted. The exterior has a slight crunch, with a soft and chewy interior. There is a wide selection of flavors, and they taste exactly the way they're described. Fruity pebbles tastes exactly like fruity pebbles. Cinnamon roll tastes exactly like cinnamon rolls. My favorite flavors are the salted caramel, milk chocolate, cookies and cream, and ferrero. My only complaint is that the macarons are a bit too sweet for me. Macaron by Patisse also has macaron baking classes every month. I took a class back in August and it was super fun and informative. We drive from the energy corridor to this location a couple of times a month if not a couple times a week! We went from sharing a dozen, to each getting a dozen when we go. The service is always great. It's nice and clean and always smells lovely when you walk in. The goat cheese and fig is my absolute favorite with the pistachio, almond, and biscoff close behind. When I arrived, the display was very empty and I must have made a face- however the lady that helped me reassured me she had more in the back. I had a Yelp event to attend next door at Cacao & Cardamom but I was way early. So I started walking around, and I came across this little store. Macaron?!?! Hells to the yes! As I was walking in, another customer walked in in front of me so I had to wait a little bit for my turn since there was only one person working the store. I spent that time looking at all the different flavors they had and took pictures so y'all can see what I see too. When it was my turn, I decided that I wanted to try a bunch of flavors that they offer so I ordered a dozen and I asked the worker to go ahead and give me whatever was popular. I liked the fact that he asked me if I had any gluten allergies (I don't) before he put the different macaron in the box. As I was paying, the worker told me that I could go ahead and pick one macaron to taste. Sweet! I think I picked hazelnut and loved it. I didn't get to try any of the other flavors until I get home, and even for me to finish all twelve macaron took me a couple of days, but I loved. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. The prices here are pretty on par with any other macaron shops. Macaron aren't really known to be on the affordable side so expect to splurge a bit. I love a good macaron, and have tried several places. I can honestly say that these are the best macarons I've ever tasted! They are so flavorful and so fresh. I usually am able to savor a box for a couple of days before they start to dry out. There are so many different flavors to choose. The shop has some main flavors as well as daily specials. I'm a big fan of the vanilla and the mint chocolate chip. But honestly, I've liked almost everything I've tried there. You can get an assortment in a box or just hand pick a few. Macaron by Patisse is a fancy macaron bakery in River Oaks. To match this very ritzy area, this macaron store is no exception. Very well lit and clean, the aesthetic here is top notch. But this place is all about showcasing their macarons! With tons of flavors to choose from, it's hard to choose only a few. I ended up splurging a little, and got a dozen for myself haha I couldn't resist. A dozen puts you back about $25, but the prices are pretty much on par with other well known macaron bakeries in Houston. And based on this River Oaks area, the prices are reasonable compared to surrounding stores. As far as flavors go, I tried their cookies n cream, lavender white chocolate, rose, birthday cake, blueberry, tiramisu, strawberry, mint chocolate, fig/goat cheese, pistachio, red velvet, and cappuccino on this particular visit. These were some delicious treats! I know I have talked about my macaron addiction when I was pregnant. I just wanted the best little macarons of the land - and I usually don't care for sweets or pastries, I'm a fitness junkie. These colorful, delectable, sumptuous pastries were definitely the Best of the Land. And the store owner is so sweet and generous with her time. She invited us in, gave us a run down on all the flavors - I could tell it was hard for her to have favorites as she loves them all equally as though they were her children. Most macaron bakeries I've been to usually have a more potent flavor but the other flavors were fine. Nonetheless, I appreciate the experience. My only comment is that when I tried to order online for pickup, no flavor options were given. But ordering over the phone is just as fast and easy so I don't think it was a huge issue. They were able to make me a small macaron tower (~42 macarons) on the spot! At $95 it was reasonably priced. The lady behind the counter was friendly and efficient. The shop itself was clean, appealing, and centrally located. I liked that the packaging on the tower was well-sealed and had a handle. It was easy to transport, very compact, and the macarons tasted fresh the next day. The flavors we chose were rose, lavender white chocolate, pistachio, almond, and salted caramel. All were tasty. I was so happy when I walked in the doors and saw all of the colorful options in front of me. I picked out six different macarons and thought they were all delicious. Some of the macaroons were extremely flavorful while others were a little bit more subtle. I would go back in a heartbeat and I am eager to try some more of their flavors. Let me start by first saying, I am NOT a macaron lover. A friend of ours suggested that we try these while in Houston for an event. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the macarons were AWESOME! I got the cookies and cream (my favorite), ferraro (I'd rate it an 8/10), salted caramel (my 2nd favorite), cappucino (my 3rd favorite), red velvet (not bad, but not my preference), birthday cake and fruity pebbles (my son seemed to enjoy them - they were for him) andddd...I think that's it. I live in Austin and recently drove from here to Houston just to get some more. I know we're quarantined, but it was nice to get out of the house. Plus the shipping is crazy...I got 3 dozen for $70 (in person), whereas I would have only gotten a dozen for $60 online and I would have had to pay an extra $20 for shipping. Gas is cheap right now, so I preferred the extra dozen...LOL! read more

Out of the 3 other macaron places I've tried, I decided this is my favorite thus far. I've been to Pâtisserie Paris Je T'aime, Sweet, and Dolce Delights. (Ordered from next best to least in my opinion). Parking is very easy. You can park in front of the establishment but keep in mind about the 30 minute parking. Another choice is the garage located across the street, connected to America's. Each macaron is $2.25, but you can save if you buy a certain amount. A dozen costs $25. My first experience here was phenomenal. Mohammed helped me pick out 2 dozen for a business meeting last year with his personal recommendations as well as popular ones. They have about 20 different flavors of macarons. Some with unique designs and colors such as the Rose, Lavender, Almond, Cinnamon Swirl, Birthday Cake, etc. In addition, macaron flavors change seasonally so watch out for that. My recent trip here, I came with a few friends. We purchased a dozen with macaron gelato pops. The pops are unique - macaron + ice cream sandwich kind of deal. I tried the Raspberry Rose due to my love for berries. I believe there were Blueberry, Cookies & Cream, Fig & Goat Cheese, Pistachio Orange Blossom, Salted Caramel, and Tiramisu. Again, flavors change seasonally. On the other hand, we split 12 macarons by 3 people. Each flavor is personal preference, but I would recommend the Pistachio, Fleur de Sel, Earl Gray, Rose, and Fig & Goat Cheese. My friends were raving about Cookies & Cream and Cinnamon Swirl. I was slightly disappointed with Raspberry Mascarpone, Red Velvet, and Ferrero. I will admit a few of the macarons lacked consistency in the past. If you have not tried a macaron ever, I recommend you come try it from here! And a FYI - Macaron by Patisse has a small location within the Galleria.
