Absolutely obsessed with Kapow! The vibe inside is absolutely insane in the best way possible, the staff was super sweet as well! We got the edamame and cauliflower bites to start (make sure to ask for the cauliflower to be extra crispy)- and our table devoured 2 of each of these apps! I also got the Poke bowl, which might have actually been one of the best Poke bowls I have ever had in my life. The spicy peppers with the fresh ahi tuna and microgreens and more, I will be thinking of it for a very long time.

Happy Hour menu

I've been to this establishment many times before, but I never wrote a review--sorry about that! My favorite entree is the Peking duck, Vietnamese chicken wings with housemade pickles, along with the Brussels sprouts. I visited Kapow for happy hour on a Tuesday evening. During happy hour, they offer half-off wines, $4 Sapporo, $5 draft beers, and single liquor cocktails, such as a rum and coke or gin and tonic. I ordered a glass of rosé and the General Tso cauliflower, which were ok a bit too sweet and overly saucy for me. They were not bad but just not for me. If you enjoy fried veggies with drenched in a sweet chili sauce, then they are a must-try. However, while I wanted to try them, I wouldn't order them again, as I prefer there Brussels sprouts. Their flavors are more suited to my palate. I also ordered the Mongolian short rib tacos, which come in an order of three. They were a decent size flavorful served in a crispy shell topped of with a Fresno chilies. Whenever you're in West Palm Beach, check out Kapow--it's a cool spot!

I get together once a month with 2 girlfriends and we always pick a place to meet for happy hour/drinks/apps - and since this week is my birthday week, I got to pick! So I picked Kapow! We have been here multiple times and it's always good. We sat outside - since it was pretty nice weather. Only thing was the gnats surrounding us for a little bit. But it's Florida - to be expected lol My friend and I ordered the happy hour $4 Sapporo and our other friend ordered the Spicy Lover cocktail... wow, that was SO delicious! We also ordered a large hot sake to share. Then, we ordered every single thing on the happy hour menu - that just seemed like the easiest thing to do! This included: Wok Charred Edamame, Brussels Sprouts (SOOO good), Ahi Tuna Poke Tacos (Another favorite!), Short Rib Tacos, Wagyu Beef Potstickers, Mushroom & Carrot Dumplings, Karaage Japanese Chicken Bun (I wasn't a fan of this - if you're a little picky with your chicken like me...), and the Crispy Oyster Mushroom Bao Bun (also very interesting lol). Everything came out pretty quick - and all in all, it was good and we had a nice time together. Our server was sweet (sorry, I did not get her name) and she helped my friend with drink recommendations. I enjoy this place every time we come! See you again soon!

Been here a few times, most the food items are great especially love the Brussels, general tsos cauliflower, mushroom chow fun, and the spicy tuna crispy rice. Their drink menu could be better, haven't found one on the cocktail list yet that I'd have a second of. Really cool anime concept with an open kitchen, the decor def sells the theme. Food comes out really quick, seems like the servers have big sections as it can take a little for them to come back. Bar staff is really friendly but seem short staffed back there too.

DELISH! This place nailed it. Super cool vibe--tables covered in anime comics? Say less... I was already sold. I had the bento box with General Tsao cauliflower (yes, cauliflower) and it was shockingly good. Wagyu pot sticker? Fantastic. And the pineapple brûlée? Life-changing. I didn't know I loved brûlée until now, and honestly, I feel like a better person because of it. 10/10 would absolutely come back.

Made a reservation for a Saturday night and we were promptly seated as soon as we arrived. They had saved a booth seat for us which was very spacious for 2 people! The service was fine, nothing great. He took our order and brought us our check at the end. Food was good! We shared the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken pad Thai. The chicken sandwich was crispy, refreshing with the slaw, and slight salty from the breading. The fries were thin and crispy! The chicken pad Thai was very flavorful and a good balance between spicy, salty, and sweet. Overall a cool restaurant with good food

I'm probably making this review a little too late from when i went to remember my servers name but I went on Friday, November 1st at 12pm and he was a very young white man, very nice and friendly. Food: My pad thai was amazing and the flavors were definetly there so i would definetly recommend it! The little tacos were so good!'n I have to come back here and make my reviews sooner

A great one-of-a-kind asian fusion spot in Palm Beach! I love the servers. The restaurant is soooo cute, I love taking people who don't go out in West Palm here. Try paying using the in-kind app.

What an incredible experience! First of all, the environment was incredibly chic for being "anime themed ". There were lots of tables, some being booths, tables, or sofas, so it's accessible for people of various party sizes. Parking around the area was a little tough because it's in a little bit of a strip area, but we found parking with no problem. The food was was delicious. We tried the mushroom and pork bao buns, and I definitely thought the pork one was a little bit better. For dinner, my brother got the Ramen, which he said was pretty average, not the best he's ever had (he loves ramen). I got the duck and Ginger fried rice, and it was absolutely incredible....Would definitely eat it again. They had a bunch of vegetarian options on the menu as well, and prices were fairly reasonable for what you were getting. Finished with the donuts and they were warm and delicious!

The amazing cocktail

Our party of 5 with a minor ordered a large cocktail bowl and if my memory serves me right it is called Lua Pele scorpion bowl. Possibly the pick of whatever we ordered. It was a heady blend of rum, sake, lime, avocado, pineapple and a few more add ons. Pretty strong with perfect blend of taste of various juices with alcohol. The quality neant for 2 to 4 is substantive. One of the best cocktails I have ever had. We tried various starters namely shrimp and pork belly buns. All were well cooked and flavorful. Excellent service and would love to try the cocktail again.i wish I could give 4.5 stars

Short rib tacos

The service was great. I came right after Sunday brunch and even though I was hoping for bottomless bloody Mary's, I opted for a single Bloody Mary. It did not disappoint. For food, we got the braised short rib tacos with a side of fries and the wild mushroom chow fun. The chow fun was the least exciting thing that we ordered but the sake was good.

Cheers!

Went in on a Friday. Sat at the bar. Great service. Amazing menu. I have to return several times because there were so many options. I got the crispy rice with tuna and it was very good. Then the shrimp pad Thai. Not my favorite because it's so sweet. I only ate half. The bartender said that's how it's made, but I can ask for less sweet and more heat next time. Which I would do. They also have my favorite wine- Meomi. Yay! I'll be back soon.

Nice indoor outdoor bar. Great bartender with cool tattoos. Really good and inventive cocktails. My favorite crispy rice with spicy tuna sushi and plenty of other delicious menu items.

Do you have to make a reservation or is walking available?

We gladly take reservations BUT walk-ins are welcome.

What's the brunch vibe there? Is the food good?

Laid back. They had live music. Food is good and service is awesome.

Are reservations required or are they just recommended?

Recommended :)

Do you have private dining area for a party?

Hi Harvey, we do not have a completely separate area that can be closed off from the rest of the restaurant per se BUT we have areas/zones that are used for larger parties that have a feeling of distinct separation. But definitely NOT a private…

What is Monday's in the biz special?

If you work in the restaurant business, you get a percentage off your bill I believe. You have to prove it with a pay stub or something like that.

Yes, on Friday evenings

Is this the old FUKU location?

No it's the old Longboards

Treehouse was one of my favorite places because of the views and the menu. My experience this morning was the worst that I've had at the restaurant. Note: The restaurant was not busy. The host/bartender said this verbatim by the way. First, the server made it seem like siting outside was optional. Then came the excuses. The first was "you could sit outside but the seats are wet." So I found a dry seat. Then she said something about food not being brought out. So I wasted time finding a seat that was dry and not too windy when she could have clearly said something like "we are not serving food outside at this time because of the weather conditions". Why the run around? The rest of the experience was just cold and inattentive. She did not introduce herself. I sat down. A few minutes to wait for a menu, a few more minutes for water that was just dropped off, and a few more minutes to ask me if I would like a drink... all of that could've been done in one visit to my table. And she never asked if I wanted water or HOW I would like it (bottled, still, sparkling, etc). I ordered a waffle and a burger and asked for it to come out as it's ready. I'm no chef but I imagine a waffle takes less time to make than a burger and fries. Either way, they came out at the same time and I could tell the waffle sat for a bit. Then she specifically asked me if I wanted hot sauce. I couldn't tell if I was being stereotyped so I was further annoyed. Why not offer me warn syrup for the waffle? a special sauce for the fries? or just let the question be open ended... She only did "walk by" check ins, and often kept her head down. Trash and dirty glasses sat on the table and another table near by. I had to wait to ask for another mimosa, and wait again to ask for the check, well after I asked for a box. Gratuity was automatially included, even though that wasn't written anywhere. I've gotten more attentive service in restaurants that were much more casual and I'm not too excited to come back. Dear leadership, please make sure your staff can explain and execute the STEPS OF SERVICE and they know how to upsell... it would lead to more revenue to your business, bigger tips for your servers, and a better experience for the guests.

I think it would have been slightly more enjoyable if the music matched the nice atmosphere, but I think they were trying to transition to more of a nightclub vibe.
