All-you-can-eat sushi AND crab legs for $30?! White Marsh, we're winning. Kanji is the newest spot in town serving up $30 all-you-can-eat sushi + buffet -- and yes, you can have all the sushi and buffet food you want! My must-tries: * Yellowtail Jalapeño Sashimi - fresh, zesty, and full of flavor. * The Incredible Roll - salmon tempura + avocado inside, topped with crab meat, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. * Seafood Boil - endless crab legs, mussels, shrimp AND crawfish, seasoned perfectly. Don't skip the sauce -- you'll thank me later! * Hibachi Plates - steak & shrimp or salmon, perfectly seasoned and brought right to your table. * Drinks - Thai tea with boba or marble soda (mango, lychee, or strawberry). White Marsh just leveled up with Kanji -- come hungry and leave happy Kanji | White Marsh, MD $30 AYCE Sushi + Buffet Follow @daithefoodie for more DMV food finds, date ideas, and hidden gems you need to try next! #baltimore #baltimorerestaurants #baltimorefoodie #baltimoreeats #seafoodboil #sushi #sushibuffet #dmvrestaurants

Saw this place on tiktok and decided to give it a try. Did the all you can eat option and there were a lot of options to choose from. We tried quit a few items on the menu and everything was pretty good and fresh, you can tell it was made to order. In addition to the regular menu items they also have a hot bar with a small selection of seafood and small bites like crab ragoon and chicken wings. The restaurant was very clean and modern. And the server was fast and very very attentive.

Definitely get your monies worth for all you can eat for $30! Waitress comes and ask if you want anything off the menu as far as sushi, hibachi or appetizers. You can order everything all together or in sections whenever you are ready. The food buffet is also available in the $30. Not too many options at the buffet but just enough to go along with what's on the regular menu. Off the menu I ordered the hibachi chicken with fried rice, the incredible roll and the California roll. On my small plate I had crab legs, fried wings, orange chicken and lemon pepper shrimp. It's a nice atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive and helpful with suggestions

For $30, you get all you can eat sushi and more and $5 extra if you want sashimi. The quality and variety make it such a great deal. Service was quick and friendly, and the space felt clean and comfortable. I was so full . Already planning my next visit. Kanji Sushi is definitely a spot worth checking out!

Awesome experience. The sushi is incredibly fresh, the appetizers and buffet selections were all delicious, and you simply cannot beat an AYCE sushi experience for $30. The restaurant is very clean and well staffed, and the customer service was excellent. Joy made sure we had everything we needed, and the food came out quickly. Definitely check them out and go hungry

Love kanji all you can eat buffet. I was extremely surprised to see the seafood boil options and they were really great. I enjoyed the wings the sushi, the wontons, the calamari noodles, chicken fried rice, and ice cream. They also had a good iced tea. highly recommend recommended you try them out right inside white marsh mall

I got an inbox from a good friend of mine who hipped me to this spot. They said it was good, & I should come check them out!! So...I did just that!! Specialty sushi rolls

When I heard there was a soft opening to the new all you can eat, made to order, sushi restaurant, Kanji Sushi, there was no question I was going to visit during the weekend. When you step into Kanji Sushi you walk into a very sleek and modernly designed restaurant. Where you can view the sushi bar where all the magic happens. As you sit and ponder which menu items you'll partake in you can see all the appetizing platters being served to guest. I was actually pretty shocked to see many of the traditional sushi specialty rolls on the menu. Which gives you the opportunity to try some different rolls you may have not had the chance to try before. Kanji offers a small buffet station of wings, egg rolls, general Tso's, and a few other items you can dine on while you wait for your made to order items to arrive. During our visit we decided to stick with the sushi and was pleasantly pleased with all the items we chose. However, Kanji also has hibachi items, fried rice, and noodles dishes you can order as well. We had an awesome time at Kanji Sushi's soft opening and our waitress was super sweet throughout our visit, making sure we got our fill of the different varieties of sushi. Kanji Sushi brings a much needed new and fresh dining experience to the White Marsh area and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Kanji Sushi is a great place to check out with family, friends or even on a solo dining. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. You are greeted immediately upon entering and seated. Your weight staff is very attentive and if your first timer they definitely go over the dining experience with you. While the food is good I wish they were a little bit more consistent with the hot bar with bringing food out. In my dining I felt like I could get the food that I ordered with my waiter quicker versus waiting for them to re-up chicken wings or the seafood boil. But overall still a great place I have been back twice and will continue to support please check this place out.

Very cute set up with tables and bar area that has tv's to watch sports. My sister and nieces had heard about this place so we decided to check it out. They have an all you can eat buffet and food menu that includes appetizers, sushi, and hibachi selections. It's $30 for adults plus an additional $5 if you add sashimi. $15.99 for children ages 7-11 and $11.99 for children ages 4-6. I had snow crab, steamed shrimp, crawfish, corn on the cobb, sweet and sour chicken, salad, and sushi, and hibachi shrimp. (I know right, that was a lot!) Everything I had was seasoned to my liking. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. I definitely plan to return and try some things I didn't get the 1st time!

Yall know I love me some sushi so I was so excited when this new AYCE spot opened. I'm very leery about AYCE sushi spots because they're only worth it if the fish is good quality otherwise you're taking a major chance. I'm proud to announce Kanji passed the test! Freshness rating 10/10! Everything on the menu is really included in the AYCE price (starters, sushi, sides, traditional hand rolls, hibachi, teriyaki, speciality rolls) and you get unlimited access to the food bars. I'll be honest and say I did not visit the food bars because that felt pretty overwhelming, everything I wanted was on the menu. But the next time I go, I'll make an effort to check out those offerings. They bring out your plates fairly quick which helped calm my nerves about the service having a 90 minute time limit. If you can't get full in 90 minutes, you're doing it wrong. Compared to General House in Glen Burnie (my fave AYCE sushi place), I'd say their fish quality is shockingly better and they have a lot more menu options however, their sushi options aren't quite as fancy. They use fewer ingredients so their specialty rolls don't really stand out. Side note: They have seating on an elevated patio that is so cute. It overlooks the mall parking lot so it's not much of a view but I think it's worth noting for people who are planning a date.

    Ahra J.

So excited that an ayce sushi spot opened so close to me! Kanji located inside the white marsh mall where Green turtle used to be- and maybe even Burger King (back in the 90's) offers a variety of sushi, small plates and a hot bar. The best part about their offering is that they also offer a seafood boil at their hot bar and I think I enjoyed that the most over the sushi. The boil had that buttery Cajun taste that you would get at a traditional seafood boil. The sushi was also amazing! Everything is made to order and the fish to rice ratio is unreal. You really can't beat the price ! Our server was also amazing! He was prompt and very attentive. The service here overall was quick and I would highly recommend!

I also noticed they did the same for other tables, which really shows how much they care about the experience. The sea bream was probably my least favorite of the lineup but still very good. The toro was easily my personal favorite, and I could have eaten 100 of those. Each order comes with two pieces which made trying different options even better. I also got the baked mussels and wowowowow they were so good. I genuinely wanted to order another round but I was already full. This is the closest spot I have found to an omakase style experience without actually doing a full omakase. It has more flavor, great presentation, and a little extra dazzle instead of just plain fish on rice. The only downside was that parking was a bit tough, but it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the meal. Highly recommend!

Ordered from the New Holiday menu. Started off with the signature holiday cocktails, egg nog & a boozy cocktail featuring makers Mark. Finished with a holiday inspired Espresso Martini Appetizers...order the seared tuna & spicy shrimp tempura although the tempura was missing the spice but seafood options were fresh and tasty I would order both again!! Entrees: Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf Crab Stuffed Salmon Both seasoned well fresh & tasty no notes really good!!! ...again I've really been sleeping on Kona grill because they showed out tonight, the chef was on duty and whipping up these entrees the salmon was stuffed with crab the asparagus had a nice smoky flavor like it just came off the grill !! Dessert: we opted for the dessert board featuring the butter cake and Molten chocolate cake and if you get any dessert def get the Butter cake!!

I rarely write negative reviews because I know it's not easy to run a restaurant. But even when…read moretrying to be positive, I find it hard to recommend this place. I came as part of a large group dinner. I appreciate that they took large reservations and sat us in a nice spot in the middle of the restaurant. The server was nice and patient, but I did notice his jacket smelled like cigaret smoke. I asked what to get, since the menu is *huge* and overwhelming (I'm not sure why sushi, steak and pad Thai are on the same menu?). He recommended sushi, so I got a flaming dragon roll (I forget the exact name). Anyways, everyone else also ordered and the food came relatively quickly. Now...when I tell you this is the worst sushi I've ever had. Again, I hate being negative but I have to tell it like it is! When they first presented the dish, it was cool because they serve it on fire. I knew that they had sake in the dish (probably so the flame can keep going after they take it out of the kitchen). However, when I bit into it, the sake was *extremely* overpowering. I couldn't taste anything else except the sake. It was extremely alcohol-heavy and I could not finish the dish. I asked others to try it, and they all agreed that it was too heavy. The prices were also very high for what we got. The only food I enjoyed were the appetizers, but they were still unremarkable. Overall, I regrettably cannot recommend this place. None of the dishes stood out, and the sushi was shocking.

The service is phenomenal, I've always been greeted immediately walking in. Everyone is so nice and will talk to you and offer suggestions! They have a great menu with bento boxes as an option for people who want a little bit of everything. I 100% recommend this sushi spot for anyone.

Located…read moreright in the heart of Federal Hill right by Cross Street Market, it has both an outdoor patio and indoor seating. They are also dog friendly. They do have a happy hour on Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. This includes certain rolls and appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails. I had the lychee Saketini (HH $8), and it definitely had lychee flavor. It was a little lighter on the alcohol though. I also had a 22 oz. can of Sapporo premium beer, which was also on happy hour for $7.50. Both the bagel roll and California roll were $6 on happy hour as well. I highly recommend the Volcano Roll (HH $12), which had 6 pieces of salmon and tuna top with a spicy mayo and eel sauce. We initially sat outside, but once it started raining, they helped us bring everything inside. The hostess was very kind and our server was excellent. In terms of the ambiance, there is not much indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like they mainly do take out. Also, street parking can be limited.
