Ok im gonna make a long story kinda short and sweet to the point. My wife and I were throwing around the idea of going solar once we moved into the new house. We were both skeptical about the whole process and if it would be worth it and all the other worries that come along with such a big purchase and change. After doing lots of research and reading many reviews we narrowed it down to 3 companies SunPower being one of the three. The first two companies seemed ok and had mixed reviews but when we sat down and finally got to meet Egor from SunPower/Kamtech we were totally comfortable and just had a good feeling about Egor; which by the way he had awesome reviews from many many people so getting to meet the actual person that people raved about was quite comforting. Egor laid out the details and the steps that we would be going through, from the actual design, to how many panels we would need and be able to accommodate right up to installation. Every person that came to the house were courteous and professional. On the day of install the men came from Kamtech right on time and in maybe 4-5 hours the system was up and running. They showed me the app to download and set me up so I could see everything happening right from my phone. Next; all inspections were done and just like that we were being powered by solar. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I've had with a big company, everybody involved was right on the money. And of course Egor, he was really fantastic and thanks to him we are solar customers. Thank you Egor, and Kamtech!! read more

After speaking with several different solar companies and going through multiple consultations, I ultimately decided to move forward with Kamtech Solar, and I'm so glad I did. From the very beginning, the experience felt different. The sales rep, Aaron, was incredibly informative, patient, and transparent throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything in detail, from system sizing and production estimates to incentives and timelines, without ever making it feel overwhelming or high-pressure. Every question I had was answered clearly and honestly, which gave me a lot of confidence in moving forward. The installation itself was smooth and professional. The crew was organized, respectful of my property, and completed the work efficiently. Communication was consistent throughout the project, and I always knew what stage we were at. What really stood out was how seamless the whole process felt compared to other companies I spoke with. With Kamtech Solar, there were no surprises, just straightforward guidance and solid execution. If you're considering going solar and feeling overwhelmed by all the options out there, I highly recommend reaching out to Kamtech Solar and asking for Aaron. The experience was excellent from start to finish. read more

In January 2023, Kamtech installed a 6.8kW peak system consisting of 16 panels with Enphase inverters, conduit, a PVS6 box, and a breaker box. The sales representative clearly explained the process, and the financing terms were straightforward. The crew worked efficiently from roughly 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at which it went online. A few lag screws required redoing to ensure they hit the roof beams properly, and there have been no leaks since. Kamtech also returned afterward to properly conceal the ground wire under concrete in the garage. In 2024, a drop in production was noticed on a single north-side panel. A service team diagnosed and fixed a loose connector under the panel at no charge. When requested, the team also promptly provided the layout diagram mapping inverter serial numbers to physical panel locations. The system runs very well. Individual production is tracked locally using Home Assistant without requiring any paid subscriptions. Overall, the company consistently makes a strong effort to support customers long after installation. read more

Installing solar on our 100-year-old home was a big decision for me and my family. I researched it heavily. I spoke with over a dozen companies, including large regional companies as well as smaller locally-focused companies. After narrowing it down to three companies, I visited other houses each company had done installations on and spoke directly with the home owners. In finally selecting Kamtech to install our solar displays on three separate roofs on our home, I am absolutely certain we made the correct choice. Kamtech was clear throughout the process; worked with us on project timeline; and delivered an excellent final product and workmanship. It is wonderful to now be saving so much money each month on our Con Edison bill, and also to know that we have increased the value of our home. I have since recommended Kamtech to friends and neighbors who are looking to go solar. Kamtech is an excellent choice. read more

My Parents had the Solar Panels and a new roof install about a year ago. Natalie who's a Solar Analyst came to the house to explain the details about the solar panels and new roof. Not only does she speak English, but she also speaks Spanish which was a plus for my Parents. She is very professional, friendly, detail oriented. In addition to those things she's also very well organized because recently my Parents needed certain documents and she provided those documents within a day. The employees are also a team player because my Parents needed a document with specific information on it and I heard in the background Randy who works in the back office processing paperwork telling Natalie that he would look for it and email it without Natalie asking him to do so. My Parents received the documents within minutes. I highly recommend this company and we greatly appreciate these employees. read more

I hired Kamtech and I am thrilled I did. They are really great. They respond quickly, they provide great quality and are good in what they do. I would hire them again... if I had another roof. The Enphase App works great, allowing me to track my current useage and consumption. I charge my electric car on the solar panel system and pay nothing for a free charge. Specifics: They installed 17 panels of 460 REC on a gabled roof--this maxed the surface area of what my roof could offer. Months later 9 inverters stopped working because squirrels had chewed up some cables. I informed Kamtech. They investigated and replaced the torn cables. Everything works great. Process: the speed of work was excellent. The permitting was smooth. The appointments were timely and spot on. They cleared up the debris after they finished all work. They did not leave behind any mess. Very professional. read more

Honest, knowledgeable, and reliable solar installers! What set Kamtech apart for me was their incredible communication and attention to detail. I had a lot of questions about panel efficiency, warranties, and system sizing. Their sales and project management teams were incredibly patient, answering every question thoroughly without resorting to aggressive sales tactics or hidden fees. Throughout the permits and utility approvals, they kept me updated at every milestone so I was never left guessing about the timeline. On installation day, the crew arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and left the worksite completely spotless. It's rare to find a contractor this dependable. I'm thrilled with the system's performance so far and would refer them to any friend or family member looking to make the switch. read more

Kamtech provided me with a 100% of electric design where other bids were for 60% or they said my roof was not usable. All work done well including survey, engineering, installation and electrical. I'm very happy with the results. I have a steep, dormered roof so it was not going to be very easy. Also, they listened to my suggestion to use part of the roof that didn't appear in the original satellite design. After first month (May), I generated slightly over 100% of my net usage! As a customer you should figure out if you want wifi or cabled internet connection for monitoring and make arrangements either to get the wifi accessories or get the internet cable in place to where the inverter will be before the installation day. read more

We got Solar panels at my home and office 4 years apart. I have studied the whole system and have chosen the best monocrystalline panels in the market-Sunpower. My installer at my home was good, but the way Kamtech handled my whole job was THE BEST. Ronnie is so personal in the way he dealt with the whole installation and thereafter. Even to this day I can reach him directly and he takes care. I also got the best price as I had 3 estimates and even without asking I got the best price!!! If you are in the market for solar- Sunpower is the best and Kamtech is the best agent!!! Keep up the excellent work Ronnie & Kamtech!!! read more

Kamtech did an amazing job installing a solar system on my house and garage roof. The project was done exactly as discussed with the highest quality panels on the market. and I haven't paid a penny to Con Edison since it was installed almost 2 years ago. This system will pay for itself in about 6 years with what my electricity bill was before installation. Both Egor and Krys are a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive to any questions or concerns. I can't recommend these guys enough! read more

I've had the system for about 3 years so far and it's amazing. Starting with the salesperson who is an engineer and not necessarily a salesperson. He didn't try to upsell me and he was able to explain every aspect of the equipment. They also take care of all the paperwork by making sure I will receive every tax credit I am eligible for. The energy generation, the app to track usage, and the costumer service is all 5 star. The engineering put into the design was elite. It's worth the money. read more

Installed solar panels with KamTech Solar two months ago. Happy with the work done smoothly and well. I was dealing with Egor who made all the steps absolutely clear, was very patient and always available to address (a lot of) my questions. Egor controlled all the phases of the installation and approval process, provided all the documents required for the tax credits and explained all the details without any reminders. Would definitely recommend the company and Egor to friends. read more
