The type of place where you walk in and immediately met with the nicest smile from the staff that instantly lifts your mood. You could tell the people working there genuinely enjoy working there. They had house made syrups which was so cool! You don't ever see that anymore and the flavors? So unique! I got the saffron latte and wow, saffron is a hard taste to get right but mostly the aroma is so comforting, I was so excited to try it and wasn't disappointed. They also gave a little sip of their Vietnamese coffee to try which was nice to offer and it tasted great! The vibe was really homey and cute, bet it would be nice to study there!

I recently came here with a friend to see the cherry blossoms at Wooster Square. We stopped in Kaiyden's for a refreshing drink. I love this cute hidden coffee shop. They always have creative specialty drinks and I love the sense of community this place brings. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful who works here. We both enjoyed their Strawberry Matcha and I will definitely be returning in the future and recommend for anyone in the area.

This place was a gem to find. It's a sweet little cute shop. After enjoying some pizza we were looking for some tea and coffee. Barista Betty took care of us. She was sweet, kind and very knowledgeable about the teas I was interested in. After a nice conversation with Betty I chose VANILLA ROOIBOS -Rooibos (S. Africa), Calendula Petals (CT),, Vanilla Oil (Madagascar) It was nice and delicious after waiting for it to steep. I would definitely order that again.

Greeted by a very friendly barista upon entry. They have a broad beverage menu, but I stuck to my traditional favorite. Large hot coffee with cream, caramel and vanilla flavor added. Very delicious. Cute quaint establishment. Books available for reading and for exchange along with a couple of board games. A stones throw away from Wooster Square, and if I had more time, I would have just taken a stroll in the park. They had light bites as well. Bagels, croissants, etc. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend.

The latte and cappuccino was pretty good here. Location wise it's convenient. A little pricey. Limited indoor seating. People were crowding around the entrance and whole indoor area just chatting instead of ordering and clearing the way. Kind of annoying. Also lots of large dogs in a small indoor cafe really didn't seem appropriate. (Dog owners were chilling inside, not even ordering to go).

The employees were sooo nice and so sweet! Me and my boyfriend enjoyed drawing on the chalk wall while we waited. I got a hot vanilla chai latte and it has never been better!! Their coffee is very very good as well! Very good clean environment. Was not too busy either

Extensive menu of espresso based coffee and other drinks. Small selection of baked goods, because that's all you need. Super friendly and warm service. Everything you need in a neighborhood coffee shop, right off Wooster Square. Pups welcome too.

Such a cute little coffee shop! It is family owned and I believe named after their kid Coffee was great! The owner was super sweet. Dog friendly. Only down side is the store is on the smaller side. There are 2 tables available.

Quait coffee shop in Wooster Square. Inside and outside seating. Super friendly staff. Great coffee. I enjoyed an Americano with Almond syrup and one with hazelnut syrup another day. Both were very good. I also enjoyed an almond croissant today which was very fresh. There is a nice assortment of cold beverages, chips, and baked goods. Good free wifi. Stop in to welcome them to the neighborhood.

Best cappuccino in New Haven served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. What a treat to have them in the neighborhood, feels like home. Also dog friendly.

I want to start by saying that the customer service here is incredible! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I'm visiting for the first time, and I had such a great experience. The cold brew was one of the best I've ever had. However, my boyfriend ordered an iced chai with oat milk, and it seemed to be made with more water than milk, which was a little disappointing. Overall, though, we loved the vibe and would definitely come back!

Very excited that Kaiyden's is finally open, after months of strolling past the "Coming Soon" poster! It has all the classic elements of a small local coffee shop - cute furniture, solid coffee, free wifi, and fresh pastries. In the hour that we sat there, quite a few people streamed in and out, but never had to wait long. This is a much-needed addition to the Wooster Square neighborhood!

Finding a place to park was miserable. I parked in Sally's Apizza small little lot. Despite the…read moresigns thank goodness I did not get towed! Every person we encountered in Ero Cafe was super friendly! I got a Vietnamese Coffee which was good but strong! I also got a cookie butter iced latte. Now that was Yummy! I used the Bischoff cookie on top to eat the whipped cream. The cup was smeared with cookie butter which made my day! For lunch I had a steak panini. The steak was a shaved steak. The cheese pull I wish I would have gotten a picture of. Along with the panini came a unique salad it was well chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, (another veggie or fruit was in there but I could not tell what is was) and a garlic oil. Im not a big veggie person but this salad was delicious. If someone else was driving or nicer weather for a walk I would for sure go back!

All of the food arrived cold, and our table was initially given the wrong order. After it had already been handled, the staff took it back and served it to another table, which raised serious concerns about hygiene. My cappuccino was also served cold, and the coffee itself was very acidic and not enjoyable. Instead of making a new one, they poured it into another cup and reheated it with the steaming wand--even though I had already taken a sip. That felt unsanitary and unprofessional. Overall, there were multiple issues that suggest poor food handling practices. I wouldn't return.

This was some good coffee!…read more This was our first stop off the train from NYC. We needed a pick me up and energy for that infamous food crawl we were about to get into. So thankful it was in the quiet and quaint neighborhood of New Haven. Such a beautiful area. Very close to all the spots I had bookmarked. Cool coffee shop I gotta say. Spacious and clean. Just the actual vibe alone was relaxing. This is one of those locations where you can actually come sit and not be bothered. Few people inside were working on their laptops, some were just conversing with their friends. The barista was super friendly and worked fast. One thing I noticed and was wowed on was they serve wine as well. I mean how cool is that. Felt like I was at France for a minute, where the cafes serve coffee, tea and qwasonts during the day, and cocktails at night. Very chill. Can't thank them enough for how clean the bathroom was as well. All in all great coffee and service.

Most chairs were up on tables, but a few tables had chairs down and people sat at chairs in the front. When we went up to the register, my friend got excited because they were playing a song she really liked. The employee told her to "calm down" multiple times in a very rude tone. We bought a piece of cake, it was a bit expensive for a small slice ($7.75) but we noticed a student discount with proof of Student ID. One of my friends had her student ID on her so she showed it, my friends also got excited about the discount and we were told to "calm down" again. Then another employee told us that the discount didn't apply to cake or macarons?? Weird. Seems convenient, since those were the only things left in the case. Anyway, we bought the cake at full price, and my friend went to find forks for the group. She asked one of the employees behind the counter and he very rudely said, "Have you tried looking behind you?" So rude. I asked for a plate to make it easier for us to split the cake slice, and the first employee told me they were closed for eating. No mention of that or signs about it before we purchased. We had to leave with our cake and ended up eating it outside on the street. I'm not happy with this place, it looked so cute at first but honestly not even worth the trouble or the money.
