They have street parking in front, no lot though. They have all your classic coffee shop drinks including some specialty ideas for a normal price. Small place near the New Haven Green... Came here during a recent visit, when other places were closed... No seating and it's a small place, so it's defiantly setup for grab and go... More international than other coffee shops...They had the proper machines for making all types of coffees... Including Turkish!.. That's a rarity!.. And very well done!.. read more

My coffee from Midpoint Brewers was decent. However, they were out of small cups, and despite ordering a small, I was charged for a medium. Although I intended to get a pastry / food, the pastries didn't look fresh at all. Not a surprise, but there is no indoor seating, and very little outdoor seating. read more

Great little spot right next to Bar Pizza. We were craving coffee and something sweet so we popped in. I'd never had Turkish coffee so I gave it a shot and it was delicious. One of the cutest, snazziest spaces in downtown New Haven. You can tell that a lot of care was taken to every detail: from the fancy espresso machine, to the posters on the wall, to the piped mounts and sleek counter. Even in the corner is a mounted sun, which adds to the playful, thoughtful design. There was a solid stream of customers around 9am on a Friday. The space is a teeny bit tight, but everyone is good about moving around and adjusting. I got a dirty chai and homemade börek and ate at the pretty counter, where there are two stools. (It's a little tight being close to the cash register, but it was ok.) My drink was nice and smooth, and the börek was nice - perhaps a little greasy and would have liked a teeny bit more salt - but it was really nice knowing that this pastry was homemade. A little pricey, but it's worth paying for quality, especially when it comes to the most important meal of the day: coffee! read more

I was so fascinated by this adorable coffee shop. The first thing you'll notice, is how tiny this place is, yet they offer everything coffee and tea here. The man working here is Turkish, and might very likely be the owner. He was very pleasant to chat with, and has wonderful costumer service skills. I got a hot hazelnut coffee, and it was delicious. My friend got a few cannolis, I'm not a fan of cannolis, so I can't comment, but there were several options of pastries, including macaroons, which looked really good. This place is very tiny, so tiny that there isn't a single seating option inside, and that makes sense, otherwise there would be no way to walk in and out. Despite being tiny, it's very tastefully decorated without feeling suffocating. I very much appreciate this as I can't stand clutter. I'm a big fan of independent coffee shops, this one is so lovely and unique, I highly recommend you visit it. read more

WoW, this is the BEST coffee spot in the whole Yale area, i've tried them all and this is the only one where i was able to enjoy lavazza coffee. Very small and cozy too. We both ordered caramel lattes, and they were super understanding with our requests! This place is good. As for types of coffee it seemed like they had all the basic stuff you would look for like cappuccinos, cold brew, lattes ect. The prices seemed kind of high to me though considering I didn't really see anything out of the ordinary like new and different flavors or different types of drinks. I was happy though that they had oat milk and almond milk because I am very lactose intolerant. The man working who may have been the owner seemed friendly. The inside of the shop was really cute, it had a bar type of feel. If I lived in the area I would give it another try the food looked really good and I enjoyed the atmosphere. read more

The owner was very nice and took the time to explain some of our questions. We ordered a latte and an americano. I loved my latte and my boyfriend had no complaints about his americano. I only went in because my friend needed coffee. But the interior is so cute, and everything looks so enticing, that I got a hot chocolate to go - and I am so glad I did. This cup of hot chocolate somehow balanced being luxuriously creamy and deeply chocolatey, while also being light enough that I drank it with great enthusiasm straight down to the dregs. It haunts my dreams. All future hot chocolates I drink will forever be held to this standard. read more

The coffee scene in downtown new haven just got a shot of something new as this European style Coffee House makes its way in. As Midpoint so elegantly describes; the moment you step into their establishment you enter a whole new scene, one that's cozy/warm but completely different from the environment outside. It's comforting, welcoming, and filled with delicious coffee aromas. They keep it simple here. Just coffee. From your cold brews to cortados, the coffee selection is short. They brew Lavazza coffee and even offer this Turkish style coffee (a mix of ground tea/ coffee). My friends and I came here to give this place a try. I ordered the Turkish coffee. It is very aromatic ; flora with a little hint of coffee. The taste was unique. It was sour and fruity, you can't really tell you're drinking coffee but it was worth a try (however I would probably not try it again, nothing against the taste , it's just not for me). My friend got the cortado which is 2 shots with steamed milk and she enjoyed it. The espresso flavor was strong and not bitter. My other friend order a mocha of which she too enjoyed. Great little coffee place. They offer Turkish coffee, which is not found in your average coffee place; that is what sets this place apart from others. The owner said they opened 3 months ago. The service is top notch, very friendly and we were told if you want it they'll make it. The board they have listing their coffee is too small to list all they have to offer. Yummy! This is my favorite coffee shop in New Haven. It's a little pricey but worth the splurge every once in a while. I don't think I could afford to make it my every day spot...but boy, is it yummy! I ordered a warm chai latte and it was very flavorful without being way too sweet, a common problem at other places. I stopped into Midpoint on my way to work last week and was hoping the experience would be half as good as the one I've had at the restaurant across the street. Unfortunately, I left feeling super disappointed and with a terrible cup of coffee to boot. The barista made fun of my "medium" roast order and essentially tried to bully me into drinking a dark roast, which I really wasn't interested in. After he watered down the dark roast to make it a "medium", I was charged a ridiculous price, and left with a gross cup of coffee. The only reason I'm giving it two stars and not one is because I agree with others who have mentioned the "cute" space - it's definitely unique. I also like that it's a local spot and (I think!) they're striving for authentic coffee, which I can always appreciate. read more

Cool spot, decent cup of coffee. I had a hard time enjoying it because the lid continuously leaked every time I took a sip. Also burned my hand pretty bad walking a block and a half to the car. The lid wasn't defective, it seemed like a poor design. Very thin recyclable lid. read more

Stopped here for a quick cappuccino. Place is SMALL. I mean really really really small. But very cute. You have to take your coffee to go because there is no seating and no room for you to stand there without being in everyone else's way. I think the fire code capacity is probably max of 5 people. Ok enough about the size of the place, you want to know if the coffee is good. Ordered a small triple shot cappuccino for $5.00 and it was just average. The guy making the cappuccino was nice but not over friendly. They have a few pastries and cookies to choose from also but I didn't try them. I would go back and give them a second try if they had some seating. I can't justify driving to New Haven to buy a coffee only to have to sit in my car to drink it, in addition to paying for parking. I wanted to like this place but when just average there's so many other places you can go and sit down to enjoy your coffee. If they had seating I may bump them a half a star read more
