Avo Wrap - recommended by the staff - A partially eaten wrap sandwich with fresh vegetables like lettuce and tomato inside a paper wrap, in a cardboard takeout box.

This location had been empty for so long that when I learned a new cafe was opening nearby, I got really excited. While there are several cafes and eateries around, this spot is truly special! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved seeing a beautifully designed sign about a collagen latte, which caught my interest because it was something I had never tried before. The environment is very clean and modern, with vibrant displays of products, especially highlighting that they serve La Colombe coffee, which is my favorite. With multiple digital menu boards, a well-equipped coffee bar with almost every syrup you can imagine, a full lunch menu, and plenty of grab-and-go options like pastries, bottled drinks, and prepackaged salads, there was truly something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and patient as I tried to understand the menu and asked questions about ingredients and items to ensure I made the right choice. I felt a bit overwhelmed trying to decide on lunch, but I took the advice of the employee ringing me up and ordered the Avo Wrap, which is like a BLT with avocado. I also decided to try the collagen latte; it tasted like an iced latte, and I could definitely tell the collagen was in it, but it didn't bother me. Both were delicious, and I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy my food in the café, but I had to leave for a meeting. I'm definitely looking forward to returning for coffee dates and lunch with friends and colleagues in the area, mainly because there are so many menu items I want to try next!

#23 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES My 475 review has to be one of my coffee shop reviews! And what better one than a new coffee shop that I have slowly become obsessed with. This is definitely one of the best study spots/coffee shops in the New Haven area! They were so thoughtful in their interior design and their drinks are very good. First off, study vibes: there is a lot of seating with outlets everywhere, free wifi, and even the couch has hidden outlets and coffee holders build in. I stayed here for a little over 5 hours studying and it was great! For drinks and food, they have w plethora of normal coffee shop items as well as sandwiches, salads, and açaí bowls. I got a large, hot, vanilla latte with regular milk for $7 and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! There is also a server that brings it to you if you are dining in. The owner was very kind along with the other servers. I definitely recommend! Note: street parking only or you can go to a nearby lot

Popped in with family while walking around and in need of cold drinks to cool us down. This is a dog friendly spot. We got a mango Tractor Organic Beverage, a strawberry Tractor Organic Beverage, a berry Tractor Organic Beverage, and green ice tea with a lemon. The staff were friendly and let us sample one the beverages.

A new addition to New Haven, this is a great study spot or good place to meet a colleague for coffee. The interior is bright and spacious with nice service. The coffee is admittedly on the pricey side. I found it to be pretty good quality though and figured I'm paying a little extra since I'll sit in the lovely cafe for a while. Bonus for the abundant windows right on the green!

Loving this spot already! I got the chance to meet the owner Ezekiel while he was making my matcha, and he's the sweetest. I love his humor and getting to see him interact with the community was really nice during my visit. As usual, I got a matcha with oat milk. It was refreshing and definitely affordable for the area at only $6! They've been open about a month and the space is gorgeously lit by sunlight and so clean. They offer pastries and sandwiches as well. I'll definitely be stopping in often since it's so close to the train station and I'm always looking for a chic place to work!

Large Matcha strong recommend - A wooden table holds two coffee cups, one with a frothy beverage and the other with a green matcha drink, along with a container of overnight oats at Fepo Cafe.

This place had everything I needed, matcha, yogurt, and avocado toast. Lots of options

Dolce De Leche Iced Latte - A plastic cup filled with iced latte, featuring a clear lid and a straw, placed on a wooden table in a cafe setting.

My friend and I came here for the first time this past weekend for a casual brunch. This is a fairly new place in downtown that we wanted to try. We had a great experience! We ordered the Iced Dolce de Leche Latte and Camomile Citrus Tea for drinks, which were delicious and the Classic Belgian Waffle and Club Sandwich. We were both very pleased and satisfied with the taste, ambiance, and service. I will definitely return again in the future and recommend if you're in the area.

Flat white I ordered was so watery. You can hardly taste the espresso. Very disappointing quality of the drink!

Every person we encountered in Ero Cafe was super friendly! I got a Vietnamese Coffee which was good but strong! I also got a cookie butter iced latte. Now that was Yummy! I used the Bischoff cookie on top to eat the whipped cream. The cup was smeared with cookie butter which made my day! For lunch I had a steak panini. The steak was a shaved steak. The cheese pull I wish I would have gotten a picture of. Along with the panini came a unique salad it was well chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, (another veggie or fruit was in there but I could not tell what is was) and a garlic oil. Im not a big veggie person but this salad was delicious. If someone else was driving or nicer weather for a walk I would for sure go back!

All of the food arrived cold, and our table was initially given the wrong order. After it had already been handled, the staff took it back and served it to another table, which raised serious concerns about hygiene. My cappuccino was also served cold, and the coffee itself was very acidic and not enjoyable. Instead of making a new one, they poured it into another cup and reheated it with the steaming wand--even though I had already taken a sip. That felt unsanitary and unprofessional. Overall, there were multiple issues that suggest poor food handling practices. I wouldn't return.

I got the Creme Brew Latte. This is one of the best lattes I've had all season. It is lightly vanilla flavored, but ultra creamy and plush. I genuinely enjoyed each sip. We got a Date Cookie, Dubai Chocolate and a Tiramisu Tres Leches. The Date Cookie was soft, with date in the center and crushed pistachios on the outside. This was rich and delectable. The Dubai Chocolate wasn't a favorite, it had a strange crunchy texture and was very sweet. The Tiramisu Tres Leche was exactly what it sounds like. So thankful it was in the quiet and quaint neighborhood of New Haven. Such a beautiful area. Very close to all the spots I had bookmarked. Cool coffee shop I gotta say. Spacious and clean. Just the actual vibe alone was relaxing. This is one of those locations where you can actually come sit and not be bothered. Few people inside were working on their laptops, some were just conversing with their friends. The barista was super friendly and worked fast. One thing I noticed and was wowed on was they serve wine as well. I mean how cool is that. Felt like I was at France for a minute, where the cafes serve coffee, tea and qwasonts during the day, and cocktails at night. Very chill. Can't thank them enough for how clean the bathroom was as well. All in all great coffee and service.
