It has a relaxed vibe that makes you want to sit back, enjoy your coffee, and stay awhile. I had a regular coffee, which was smooth, flavorful, and easy to enjoy. It had a nice balance without being bitter or overpowering. The ham and cheese croissant had that perfect flaky, crisp, buttery exterior with a soft, tender inside with savory ham and melted cheese. The scone was lightly sweet, buttery, and had a nice flaky texture. The chocolate chip cookie was the sweet treat I didn't know I needed. My recommendation: ask them to warm it up! It makes such a difference...the edges get slightly crisp while the center becomes warm, soft, and gooey with melty chocolate in every bite. Coffee and smoothie shop with wider variety of food items than typical. I tried the new trendy mushroom based drinks. No enlightenment or even the giggles. Not that kind of mushroom, alas... It was fine. Tasted quite good with lots of chocolate - didn't see the calories- which is probably good. It's on the corner of the green. First time coming here, not only because I had never heard of this place, but because parking is and can be very chaotic in New Haven. But it's dog friendly so that's a plus!! Stopped by here as it was close to an office I was at for the day and so glad I did! I wanted something light and so I opted for some mango overnight oats and a scallion and goats cheese scone. Both were so delicious and were filling for a busy day in New Haven. I loved the vibe and loved how many tables and chairs there were. Anytime I've been to New Haven within the past year, I've been very intrigued by Fepo Cafe. The windows are huge, with a comfortable and elegant vibe. My friend and I finally stopped by the other day. Fepo Cafe is a comfortable and quiet space for enjoying a coffee, lunch, or an independent study session. Their menu is large with an assortment of coffees, smoothies, teas, energy drinks, as well as a broad variety of breakfast and lunch items. Their Cherry Blossom Latte looked interesting. I ordered it hot, my friend got the Cherry Blossom Matcha iced. They were brought out to us pretty quickly. I was unfortunately very disappointed. I didn't get what I ordered. I got a typical matcha. It was bitter, but smooth. I had to add some sweetener to it. My friend who ordered the matcha, wasn't impressed, while it was nicely layered, it had the crucial ingredient missing, the cherry syrup. We were both dissatisfied with our drinks. It turns out we should have received a free cookie with the purchase of our drinks, we didn't get those. We also got a chia pudding each. One with mango and one with pineapple. These were both very tasty, and a healthy alternative to a snack. I'm not sure what happened, maybe the barista was new. This location had been empty for so long that when I learned a new cafe was opening nearby, I got really excited. While there are several cafes and eateries around, this spot is truly special! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved seeing a beautifully designed sign about a collagen latte, which caught my interest because it was something I had never tried before. The environment is very clean and modern, with vibrant displays of products, especially highlighting that they serve La Colombe coffee, which is my favorite. With multiple digital menu boards, a well-equipped coffee bar with almost every syrup you can imagine, a full lunch menu, and plenty of grab-and-go options like pastries, bottled drinks, and prepackaged salads, there was truly something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and patient as I tried to understand the menu and asked questions about ingredients and items to ensure I made the right choice. I felt a bit overwhelmed trying to decide on lunch, but I took the advice of the employee ringing me up and ordered the Avo Wrap, which is like a BLT with avocado. I also decided to try the collagen latte; it tasted like an iced latte, and I could definitely tell the collagen was in it, but it didn't bother me. Both were delicious, and I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy my food in the café, but I had to leave for a meeting. This is definitely one of the best study spots/coffee shops in the New Haven area! They were so thoughtful in their interior design and their drinks are very good. First off, study vibes: there is a lot of seating with outlets everywhere, free wifi, and even the couch has hidden outlets and coffee holders build in. I stayed here for a little over 5 hours studying and it was great! For drinks and food, they have w plethora of normal coffee shop items as well as sandwiches, salads, and açaí bowls. I got a large, hot, vanilla latte with regular milk for $7 and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! There is also a server that brings it to you if you are dining in. Loving this spot already! I got the chance to meet the owner Ezekiel while he was making my matcha, and he's the sweetest. I love his humor and getting to see him interact with the community was really nice during my visit. As usual, I got a matcha with oat milk. It was refreshing and definitely affordable for the area at only $6! They've been open about a month and the space is gorgeously lit by sunlight and so clean. I cannot help but feel my interaction with the server was racially motivated. I asked a simple question about the amount of protein in a drink, and they basically berated me stating that it's obviously different per size , which is not clear they clearly had no insight as to how much grams of protein would served per drink never giving this establishment my business. Well, we did it, folks! Went to this café and after café after café of inconsistency, overpriced and underfilled beverages, FINALLY found a good latté in New Haven. I mean, I knew it would be good, since it's La Colombe, but there are other things that make this place shine. The employees are kind, the café is spotless, and on a sunny day, the space is bright (huge windows) and warm. They have an amazing selection of syrups to complement the drinks, and in my oat draft, the amount of syrup was perfect. I really enjoyed visiting Fepo Cafe, a delightful new coffee shop in New Haven that's located on a bright street corner. They serve La Colombe coffee and have a substantial offering of beans to buy. They also have food and baked goods, which I'll have to try next time. I ordered a cortado with oat milk. It was excellent. My mom got the chai latte, which she loved. The seating options are great for work and for chatting with friends. There's ample space to spread out and get things done. I appreciated that the table we were at had some little coasters to use, but unfortunately we got to-go cups even though we were seated inside. I did not like their use of fake plants; once you notice they're fake, it really kills the vibe. I do think their menu is too ambitious. They have too many baked goods, refrigerated drinks, and weirdly have smoothies, too. No need! Just do the coffee well! Would return. read more

This place has been on my must try list simply because of its open & plentiful seating which is helpful for studying or simply getting work done. I came in on a weekday afternoon. It wasn't crowded but there were quite some people & everyone was quite respectful & quiet. The playlist is * chef's kiss. I really like how there are a lot of windows, lots of sunlight & the space is open and airy. There are plenty of outlets under the benches. I ordered a Thai tea. The small is quite large. The Thai tea was rich, maybe a bit too sweet, but good. This place also has pastries, sandwiches, smoothies and açaí bowls.
