Got to try the chocolate chip cookie and a small drip hot coffee. I enjoyed both of them ! I also ordered the Avocado Bliss Cobb Salad: Mixed greens, romaine, grilled chicken, tomatoes, avocado, pickled, red onions, bacon, hard boiled egg, & green goddess dressing.. for $14.00 the salad wasn't bad but on the smaller size for the price and The egg was a little over done as you can see in the picture. Parking here was difficult to find since it is in the heart of downtown New Haven but establishment is dog friendly.

Anytime I've been to New Haven within the past year, I've been very intrigued by Fepo Cafe. The windows are huge, with a comfortable and elegant vibe. My friend and I finally stopped by the other day. Fepo Cafe is a comfortable and quiet space for enjoying a coffee, lunch, or an independent study session. Their menu is large with an assortment of coffees, smoothies, teas, energy drinks, as well as a broad variety of breakfast and lunch items. Their Cherry Blossom Latte looked interesting. I ordered it hot, my friend got the Cherry Blossom Matcha iced. They were brought out to us pretty quickly. I was unfortunately very disappointed. I didn't get what I ordered. I got a typical matcha. It was bitter, but smooth. I had to add some sweetener to it. My friend who ordered the matcha, wasn't impressed, while it was nicely layered, it had the crucial ingredient missing, the cherry syrup. We were both dissatisfied with our drinks. It turns out we should have received a free cookie with the purchase of our drinks, we didn't get those. We also got a chia pudding each. One with mango and one with pineapple. These were both very tasty, and a healthy alternative to a snack. I'm not sure what happened, maybe the barista was new. I might stop by again in the future.

Cute cafe with nice decor. Friendly staff. Delicious chicken panini. Crowded on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait for a table to free up but worth it.

This location had been empty for so long that when I learned a new cafe was opening nearby, I got really excited. While there are several cafes and eateries around, this spot is truly special! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved seeing a beautifully designed sign about a collagen latte, which caught my interest because it was something I had never tried before. The environment is very clean and modern, with vibrant displays of products, especially highlighting that they serve La Colombe coffee, which is my favorite. With multiple digital menu boards, a well-equipped coffee bar with almost every syrup you can imagine, a full lunch menu, and plenty of grab-and-go options like pastries, bottled drinks, and prepackaged salads, there was truly something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and patient as I tried to understand the menu and asked questions about ingredients and items to ensure I made the right choice. I felt a bit overwhelmed trying to decide on lunch, but I took the advice of the employee ringing me up and ordered the Avo Wrap, which is like a BLT with avocado. I also decided to try the collagen latte; it tasted like an iced latte, and I could definitely tell the collagen was in it, but it didn't bother me. Both were delicious, and I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy my food in the café, but I had to leave for a meeting. I'm definitely looking forward to returning for coffee dates and lunch with friends and colleagues in the area, mainly because there are so many menu items I want to try next!

#23 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES My 475 review has to be one of my coffee shop reviews! And what better one than a new coffee shop that I have slowly become obsessed with. This is definitely one of the best study spots/coffee shops in the New Haven area! They were so thoughtful in their interior design and their drinks are very good. First off, study vibes: there is a lot of seating with outlets everywhere, free wifi, and even the couch has hidden outlets and coffee holders build in. I stayed here for a little over 5 hours studying and it was great! For drinks and food, they have w plethora of normal coffee shop items as well as sandwiches, salads, and açaí bowls. I got a large, hot, vanilla latte with regular milk for $7 and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! There is also a server that brings it to you if you are dining in. The owner was very kind along with the other servers. I definitely recommend! Note: street parking only or you can go to a nearby lot

Popped in with family while walking around and in need of cold drinks to cool us down. This is a dog friendly spot. We got a mango Tractor Organic Beverage, a strawberry Tractor Organic Beverage, a berry Tractor Organic Beverage, and green ice tea with a lemon. The staff were friendly and let us sample one the beverages.

A new addition to New Haven, this is a great study spot or good place to meet a colleague for coffee. The interior is bright and spacious with nice service. The coffee is admittedly on the pricey side. I found it to be pretty good quality though and figured I'm paying a little extra since I'll sit in the lovely cafe for a while. Bonus for the abundant windows right on the green!

Loving this spot already! I got the chance to meet the owner Ezekiel while he was making my matcha, and he's the sweetest. I love his humor and getting to see him interact with the community was really nice during my visit. As usual, I got a matcha with oat milk. It was refreshing and definitely affordable for the area at only $6! They've been open about a month and the space is gorgeously lit by sunlight and so clean. They offer pastries and sandwiches as well. I'll definitely be stopping in often since it's so close to the train station and I'm always looking for a chic place to work!

    Dolce De Leche Iced Latte

My friend and I came here for the first time this past weekend for a casual brunch. This is a fairly new place in downtown that we wanted to try. We had a great experience! We ordered the Iced Dolce de Leche Latte and Camomile Citrus Tea for drinks, which were delicious and the Classic Belgian Waffle and Club Sandwich. We were both very pleased and satisfied with the taste, ambiance, and service. I will definitely return again in the future and recommend if you're in the area.

    Large Matcha strong recommend

I'm a big bagel stickler and having just arrived from NYC, I thought I've seen it all. My best friend suggested Olmo, claiming that their bagel is the best she's ever had. In truth, I didn't believe her, but i walk away from this experience as an Olmo diehard fan. Their bagels are absolutely brilliant. Tens, elevens even, across the board. I've truly never had anything like it. Their flavors are unique with a Zaatar and Cacio bagel; candidly, I was too much of a purist to try them this time around and opted for the safe yet mildly experimental Rosemary bagel. Stop everything you're doing. Book the flight. Try this. Its crust is crackly with a bubbly top, almost akin to that of high quality sourdoughs, yet the interior is plush with a quintessentially dense bagel crumb. God, there's no limit to the amount of praises I can sing about this. The flavors with the okonomiyaki are well balanced also with the sweet tangy bbq contrasting the luscious, creamy egg omelette. It's really REALLY hard to choose a favorite though as I tried their lox, okonomiyaki, white fish, and cinnamon raisin shmear, and all of them were excellent in their own right. The workers are also incredibly kind and accommodating, working fast to complete every order efficiently. Olmo's so good I had four of their bagels within a 24 hour period. Does it really get any better than this?

Lobster bisque was hot though pretty liquid-y. The Brussels sprout salad was by no means a salad. More of a rice cake with Brussels shavings on too but really good. Calamari was okay. Mac and cheese was eh, really liquidy as well. I did really like the crispy mushroom risotto tater tots. They tasted just like tater tots. As we were getting to our last bites and still eating, at least three different staff members within a matter of a minute asked if we're were done and could take our plates away. I would have given this place four stars had we not been bombarded at the end of our dinner. It felt like we were being rushed out even though there were tons of tables and seats still available.
