I've heard great things about Kafeiin and have gotten drinks from here from other people but only personally came to the store once. I actually wasn't very impressed with my visit to the store, but their drinks are really good in terms of taste and flavor. To start, you order your drinks from a kiosk. There's a cashier but they didn't seem to pay much attention to it nor does anyone greet or acknowledge you when you walk in. I also don't know if it's the norm, but I didn't get a receipt when I ordered. I sat down and waited for my drinks, and I never heard my name or number called out or anything even though I was sitting right next to the pickup counter. I noticed 4 of the drinks I had ordered on the counter though, so I assumed those 4 drinks must've been mine and approached the counter to ask. They were in fact my drinks. I wonder how long they would've left me sitting there waiting for my drinks if I hadn't approached and asked though. The other flaw is that I noticed the drinks are mostly filled with ice so it feels like you've barely drank anything before your drink is empty which is a shame considering the size of the cups and the price of the drinks. Now these negatives aside, I do like the variety of drinks that they offer. Their coffee is very good and so is their matcha. Sweetness level is perfect also. I tend to not like my drinks too sweet and generally adjust to 50% or 0% at most places. I definitely think these drinks are worth trying, and it's a great place to take friends or guests to try out.

This place is so cute! The drinks are amazing. I'm visiting from out of town and ended up going three times in one week. I tried the banana coffee, corn latte and banana matcha.. everything was so good. My favorite was definitely the banana coffee! They have such a wide variety of drinks, there's truly something for everyone. The staff was super friendly and really helpful with answering all my questions. Highly recommend stopping by!

All of the coffee menu items here allow the option of either Vietnamese-style robusta beans or a standard blend when ordering. Be aware that Vietnamese coffee holds twice the caffeine content compared to what you're used to! But the concept of customizing is great.

Cute interior, very clean and modern. Two kiosks to order and I did see some folks pay cash with a cashier. As a first timer, would have been nice to be serviced by someone to ask about flavor profiles for the drinks I was interested in. The screen didn't have great descriptions, although some of the drinks were obvious by the name. I ordered the salted matcha with a matcha shot. Took roughly 8-10 mins for my order. They had a cute flower decoration on top of the foam. To me, the flavor was average, nothing particular stood about it. Def social media hype. I would consider trying again if in the Duluth area but wouldn't go out of my way.

The drinks are good but with that being said I do drink it in 5 minutes maximum and realize the cup is 95% ICE 5% BEV all the matcha drinks are really yum, I wish you could adjust sugar and ice levels but I digress....... The ube foam is lowkey hit or miss sometimes it's yum sometimes it taste bland :( also if you don't like sweet... DO NOT GET THE LATTES!!!!!!! the banana latte and corn latte is diabeeto. Personal favorite: SESAME MATCHA MMMMMMMMM

Super cute, minimalist spot to hang out or work at. I got the corn matcha latte and it was really good! The matcha is high quality and the corn flavor really pulled through without being overpowering. We ordered through the kiosk, but the staff was friendly overall.

Love love a good matcha! Came here close to closing on a week night, and surprisingly it was still pretty crowded! So I would expect a little bit of a wait after ordering. I loved the self kiosks that they had. We got the ube matcha and strawberry matcha. Both were probably some of my favorite that I have had in Atlanta. The inside is super aesthetic with lots of opportunity for pictures. Loved it so much. Definitely worth the hype.

Very aesthetic cafe. The drinks are a little on the pricier side around $8-$10. You can't adjust the sugar or the ice level which is disappointing. They have the cfa ice which takes up most of the volume. The viet coffee is good and strong. Matcha is good & sweet but not the best. The herbal drink is refreshing, decent amount of toppings. Limited seating and they have WiFi. I personally wouldn't study here because how busy they always are.

I love that you can just order at the kiosk. Once you're done adding things to your cart to order, you can just give the kiosk your phone number. There's a screen by the door that tells you what are orders are in progress and which orders are done. You get a text message once your order is ready and you can just pick it up at the counter. The drinks are fantastic. They have lots of traditional options to choose from but also some experimental options. I would recommend any of the coconut foam drinks as well as the lattes. It can be a little busy on weekends but during the weekday there's plenty of quiet seating. On the weekends it can be very hectic and I could not expect a place to sit. Overall the entire location stays so clean despite how busy they get.

I wanted to come see what the hype was all about and wow, the place was super packed. It's definitely nice and modern, but the setup and waiting area felt a little awkward. We ordered four drinks, and for some reason they all tasted watered down. My coffee didn't have that strong drip-coffee flavor, and my daughter said her matcha tasted more like milk than matcha. It'll probably be a while before I come back, but I do plan on giving it another try once the crowd dies down.

After coming here multiple times, this place is always packed. I wouldn't recommend coming here for study sessions since it can get loud, but if you want to grab a drink to go that would be the better choice. Very limited seating if it is crowded. The interior is very cute for pictures though. The parking lot can get hard since they're doing construction and it's shared with Jusgo Supermarket and other stores. I haven't had a bad drink here. My go to is anything matcha honestly. They have really good ube coconut and matcha coconut drinks that I like. Matcha latte or strawberry matcha is good too. I was told if you want to customize your drink, you will have to ask the employees if you ordered off the kiosk.

This is a great new cafe in Duluth! The vibes inside are very nice and different from what you usually find in Duluth. They were really busy even when I went on a Monday afternoon, so it took a while to get my drink. I got the matcha latte, and the quality of matcha was pretty good. I appreciated that they offer lactose free milk because I am lactose intolerant, but I do think the milk is sweetened and I generally prefer my matcha unsweetened. I also tried a bit of my friend's egg coffee, which was also pretty good but very sweet. Overall, I think the aesthetic of the cafe is really nice, but the drinks do lean on the sweeter side. I would come back here for the aesthetics and vibes once the hype of the new location dies down a bit though. read more

The drinks were insanely sweet and full of ice. When we went back inside to ask them if there was anything they can do to make it less sweet. The girl stared and us and the whole staff gathered in a circle laughing. And then she went to the back and someone else came out, who also had a terrible attitude. I truly find it unreasonable to pay for $8 for a drink and when you don't like it, you get a terrible attitude from the entire staff and no offers to remediate. The drinks did not taste good, it was just sugary. We are not coming back here again. read more

Kafeiin Coffee appears to be the newest buzz in the are. I first attempted to visit them before they opened since Google says they open at 9am. I waited for about 15 minutes before I noticed no one was going to come. I think their listing may be wrong? I noticed a lot of reviews having issues with the hours all around. I ended up coming back later in the afternoon and it was busy! There were way too many people waiting for their drinks and everyone was on top of each other. The drinks are about $8-$9 for a regular size drink. You order on a tablet. I had the strawberry matcha and it was very delicious! I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't too sweet like other matcha places. I enjoyed it! I do wish the drink was slightly bigger for the price. I hope they straighten out their hours because I wasn't the only one waiting at 9am. read more

This place is such a cute coffee shop and the Matcha drinks are to die for! I will say there isn't a lot of seating so if you are wanting to sit, maybe it's best to go during off hours and it does get extremely crowded on the weekends due to how popular it has been on social media. There are self served kiosks and there is a monitor to let you know if your drink is in progress or ready. read more

Very rare that I go to a business on opening weekend but I had to work on Sunday and decided to treat myself since I live close by. Boy was it crowded!!! I expected it to be but wow. I want to go back after it calms down to really look around. The space from what I could see was very bright and lovely. I had the strawberry cloud matcha. A lot of people complain about the sweetness but I mine in the sweet side. It was good but I have had better strawberry matchas. I do want to try other options before I truly decide what I think. And that is what I recommend- wait a bit before you go. read more

Will never be giving Kafeiin my business. I was excited to try their matcha after dinner since they close at 10 PM. As we were walking up to the door at 8:20 PM, a family had just got welcomed in by an employee right in front of us however my boyfriend, friend and I were stopped and told it was closed with no reason provided. Will not be returning due to that experience. read more

The matcha was the best in Georgia. On the sweeter side exactly how I like. Corn latte not as good as cafe blue. It's grand opening day so a lot of people here super loud so ambiance not as great. Service was ok, we used kiosk to order but they were nice when giving us the drinks. The chairs are uncomfy so not a good spot to study. read more

It was around 3pm. I just wanted to taste their expensive $8 cup without it keeping me up at night so I asked my wife to order without ice so I can drink it tomorrow. She brought this half cup of coffee. Cant believe we paid $8 for this. Such a premium. You know profit margins are high on drinks. Give the customer more instead of skimming out. Also this drink is no where near Da Viên quality in California. Not sure if I'll be coming here often. I think 7 Leaves are better. At least when I order no ice I get a full cup for $6 read more

Coming into this cafe, the vibes are nice but I wasn't able to take much time to enjoy because it was pretty full for its second weekend and I was too busy to stay. The interior was what you would see on Pinterest. So overall pretty and clean, perfect for those who like cafe hopping. Maybe next time I'll stay!! The Ube Cloud Coffee has the option to be Vietnamese coffee or a latte, I chose the Vietnamese coffee. The brew was strong and yummy just how I like it. The Ube cloud is quite yummy but I would keep in mind that once the Ube cloud melts into the drink you don't get that same taste :( I'm a slow drinker so it is my fault. I hope they'll get an Ube syrup so the flavor will last longer Unfortunately I did not enjoy my matcha drink :( I do love matcha drinks but this was more of a sweet milk with a hint of matcha. The banana foam was yummy but if you mix the drink up , you might lose the taste I just don't think this cafe has the best matcha in metro Atlanta and the price point does make me feel reluctant to buy more matcha drinks from here. If you want a light matcha taste then this would be perfect for you! There is a sign upfront saying that they don't remake drinks if you don't like your order, keep that in mind!!! It was a busy day but my order came out pretty fast (8ish minutes). I do want to try more of the menu so I will be back ! read more

Found out about a new cafe opening up via social media and it looked interesting to check out! My cousin had visited this place and gave it a thumbs up so I wanted to check it out as well. The overall interior decor looks great. It's modern, simple with an open concept where you can see straight toward the rear. There aren't tables for 4+ people. It's a tad bit small and can definitely feel cramp. Definitely busy, but that's to expected on a weekend morning. That long line doesn't help the internal congestion. Service was pretty standard for a cafe. You either place your order through kiosks on the side or if you're paying via cash - the register with a cashier. And they will text you whenever your order is ready for pick up. They did not have a number box to announce nor call out the name/order number. I had ordered the Salted Cloud and Egg Foam. They were pretty standard, but the Salted Cloud was a bit too salty. Ordered the 'Strong'/Vietnamese version too, but it was watered down with all the ice that was added. For its cost - it was not worth it as the flavor and quantity was quite lacking. I did have two concerns as I was watching the staff prepare the orders... One was in regards to the foam where the date on it was from 4 days ago. The foam used to dispensed (and looks like stored in) from these pitchers aren't air tight so it can potentially spoil quicker. The foam itself looked more like a slurry so it lost its texture. *The main concern was that multiple members of the staff wore food prep gloves BUT still fiddled with their personal phones, inside of pockets, hair, cleaning materials (wet rags that came from the back kitchen), and the same kiosk that cashier handled after touching physical cash. They would then touch the mouth brim of the lid and/or the contents in which you'd ingest. I take food safety very seriously and it doesn't help that this happens in front of the customers. read more

The drinks here are so good! We went with my family, and I'd say it's one of the best drink spots in Duluth. We had the strawberry matcha, banana matcha, a longan drink, and one other that I can't remember the name of--but every drink was delicious. The vibe and interior of the café are really nice, and they do have indoor seating. It does get pretty busy though, especially on weekends, so finding a seat can be a bit hard. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend to try this place because we ended up coming back for more :) read more

The banana cloud matcha was surprisingly delicious! The banana flavor was creamy and naturally sweet, and it blended really well with the earthy matcha. The cloud foam on top was light and fluffy, making every sip smooth and balanced. It tastes almost like a dessert but still refreshing. Horrible customer service!! First of all they make you order in a tablet, the cashier is only for cash already very annoying because I was carrying a baby. I ordered the wrong drink I guess(Im pretty sure I didn't) and I kindly asked them to change my drink because that's not what I intended to order, I never even touched the cup. They refused to change the drink or give me a refund wtf horrible customer service I spoke with 3 people and the manager offered me a discount on my next drink. The vietnamese coffee is insanely sweet, it was actually undrinkable, they give you a hard time if you ask to remake the drink. Kinda crazy for an $8 coffee - this is the first time I've ever had a cafe not remake their drink and I am not picky, i almost never ask for remakes. They diluted it and that helped but honestly nothing special about this place. Will not be coming again. Dont fall for the paid reviews. Go to cafe blue for better service, price, and quality. The matcha place in jusgo right next door is also much better. And for vietnamese coffee, teatop nearby is also better read more

I was a little underwhelmed with the seating arrangement. The drinks took longer to make since the place was packed. I give the Ube Cloud Matcha a 6/10 because you could taste the ube and it felt like the matcha was just a suggestion. The Salted Cloud Coffee gets a 9/10. The amount of the foam and coffee and its taste was perfect. One thing I was confused about is the windows of the shop. shouldn't it be tinted from the outside rather than the inside because no one inside can see outside but everyone from outside can see in. read more

We went during their soft opening. The lines and wait times were long, which is expected. The disappointment lies in the amount of tea they served. It felt like they skimped out on the amount of tea they served with each cup. After I finished my drink, I noticed that the cup was filled with mostly ice. A little disheartening given how good the teas tasted. read more

Younger staff is a bit rude, those who seem a bit older were quite polite. Drinks tastes pretty good but not worth the money based on the amount of ice and matcha. Good drink but very very inconsistent. I ordered Guava Bloom Tea a lot, maybe over 40 cups ever since the shop opened. Around 1/3 of them came without boba. Idkw but they keep forgetting my boba -_- I always order 3 or 4 cups every visit so I only found out a day or two later. I don't want to remind the barista every time I visit but this is so frustrating. It was ok the matcha isn't toooo crazy in my opinion. If you like matcha that tastes more like it then yes, but if you have a sweet tooth for matcha, I don't recommend, it took me like 15 min to get my drink the service isn't much they were getting slammed by drinks so they don't really talk to you i don't blame them read more

The portion size is horrific for 8 dollars a cup. I wanted to take some home and drink for afterwards and put no ice but they barely even filled half the cup! Even then, the normal size cup with ice is barely as big as your hands. read more

Parking is shared with all of downtown Duluth's parking area meaning that over the weekend it can get quite busy. Service was quick even while the shop itself seemed a bit busy. My husband and I each ordered a drink. A flavored latte for him and a matcha with cold foam for me. The prices are decent and they also offer rewards.
