Took my brother here for the first time. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk,tolbenna and Tyler told us if we gave them a 5 star review on yelp and showed them they would give us a $5 discount. Since I've come to this location 10+ times I didn't bat an eye and gave them the 5 star and showed them. We went and did our race and my brothers airpods fell out of his jacket pocket. We realized after the race and told an employee at the pit. The person waving the flag immediately said "who brings AirPod's on the track" and proceeded to laugh. While the employee looked on the track for the airpods the employee waving the flag kept laughing and saying remarks about us. The employee handed us the airpods and we said thank you and he just looked at us with a annoyed face and walked away. We paid for 3 races and ended up leaving after the first one. We paid for an $80 Groupon to receive 8 races. We arrived and they notified us that it expired the previous month. We asked to speak with the Manager (Torri) and she said there is nothing she could do. I have been to multiple places with an expired Groupon and the Manager would still honor it. Torri would not listen and all should would read is the fine print. You would think that she would work with us to at least let us use the $80 we paid and pay an additional $20 to get the 8 total races. Management is very unprofessional and to young to figure out they lost more money on the transaction plus an unsatisfied customer that will never return. read more

Please fix operation: Terrible service and dumb manager/worker. I'm a long time customer and experience driver. Kart #37 tonight was a lot slower than the others and I told the controller during and after my race. The excuses was from other racers crashing. I ending the race with my worst time ever and told the workers, kart #37 is malfunctioning. I tried to request for a free race and was told by another worker, kart #37 has been known to have glitches. Manager was called to assist and I was told "it was the luck of the draw" meaning some karts are working fine and some times you get a bad one. I was not awarded a free race. I mentioned, the other worker admitted that it was known to have glitches but she said "he meant to say #27". WTF BS! That was only half the issue, the other half was because since my kart was so slow, 1 racer would always ram into my back and making my helmet hit the back hard. I was so slow it happen 3 times by the same racer. I confronted the worker who was in control of the kart/flags and told him he should have flag that racer but didn't have nothing to say. Terrible service and as I see the recent reviews, it is still the same. read more

I was very happy when I heard that there was a K1 speed being built near me. This track, however, was a disappointment. When you pay $20 per race, the track should be bigger, to maximize your money. At this location, it just doesn't feel like you're getting your money's worth. This track is too small and has too many curves, the one in Anaheim, CA was much bigger. This track would be awesome if they expand it. read more

What a rip-off!!!! We were in from out of town and I assume you have to be regular racer???? Cars kept bring shut off to let others pass!!!!! Super fun when actually racing on the track but has some areas that disappoint. The track is small, but perfect for children. Cars are fast but they're very strict on bumping and competitive driving. Then there's the price of racing, which seemed a bit much to me. Plus we waited over an hour to race when there weren't even a lot of people. They have a few arcade games and concession type food available.. Thank goodness. I'm a sucker for nachos. read more

K1 Speed allows bullying from adults towards kids. The young manager was rude and lack the training and skills to run a shift. my friends and family unfortunately have to find another place to hangout due to bullying by one of their regulars towards my friends and i. her own son was embarrassed by his mothers actions and kept apologizing. Im not gonna say this is racism, but yes our group was black and the lady was an older white woman. After the situation had died down the lady got to go again on the carts and we were simply waiting for our turn. We were about to go on the carts when the cops showed up and talked the older lady, and she went and sat in the massage chair. They came up to us and asked us to leave. We asked for our refund and Emily the shift manager said no. Thats when one of the children asked Emily for her name and she responded with a roll of the eyes. The cops asked Emily if she was gonna give us a refund and thats when she agreed. I have never experienced this kind of treatment. Very disappointing, to think this is the world we live in. We now allow people to bully and Cuss out kids. The kids were very scared and were crying as this was a very traumatic experience. I would not wish this on my worse enemy. This is not a place to bring kids. Very disappointed. 0/5 stars. read more

This place sucks. My family drove all the way across town at 5pm on a Saturday, only to be told that our kids could not race until 8pm dut to them having booked parties. This makes no sense because a business should be able to accommodate walkins and party guests. Word of advice....you need better business sense. read more

I was all geared up and ready to kick my husband's butt and once we got there all **** broke loose. The place was not crowded but we were told it would be an hour wait. So we decided no problem let's wait. Well nobody was monitoring the track and then all of a sudden a horrible accident occurred. A guy lost control and his cart when head first into another customer. It was a horrible scene and I just pray that she was okay. That freaked us out so we left!! read more

Our family of 4 including 2 teens signed up for 2 races each-it became high speed bumper cars as 2 guys (one with a GoPro on his helmet) aggressively bumped others despite multiple, large, very clear signs that say no bumping. They spun my son around with one of their aggressive moves. The nice kids working here don't have the power to pull someone off the track. As we waited for our next race a driver hit the rail and a car behind ended partly lying atop the first car- the kid still strapped inside was flailing his arms as they got him out. Thankfully not seriously hurt- but this is supposed to be safe and fun? read more

This place is extremely overpriced. It was my first time visiting K1 Speed and I was really looking forward to having some go karting fun with my husband. I didn't check the prices online (which is very unlike me) but boy, I should have. When we got there we were unpleasantly surprised to hear that ONE RACE for ONE PERSON is $20. I asked the cashier how long a race is, and she told me they are typically 5 minutes and can even be shorter depending on how fast the drivers are going. Not to mention there is an 'annual fee' of $7 that you must pay as a first time individual. What an awful first impression that they expected my husband and I to drop about 60 dollars just to go kart on a little track for 5 minutes. Never coming back. PS: if someone wants to go kart bad enough to pay that much for so little time, that is truly sad. read more

So I've been here a few times with some friends and I gotta say, these are some fast go karts. The track is just the right size and challenging too. It's nice that its inside with air conditioning. It can be a little pricey if you buy just one race, but the packages are pretty reasonable. I noticed there are better deals and less wait time on the weekdays as well. read more

This race place was ok but needs work to make it worth it. The track was small and very curvy, so the main obstacle was trying not to crash into a wall. The winners were based on best lap speed, so you might as well have raced against no one. The real kicker is the wait time. It takes a minimum of an hour to 1/2 hour to race, even if you buy your races as a package. They are big on safety and rules, which is nice, but with such a small track getting yelled at for every nudge gets annoying. Expanding the track, working on a better line system, and lowering the price would earn them 5 stars. Until then, go to Wheels. read more

Second visit and still just as impressive! This time we had friends visiting and brought them here Saturday night. We are a pretty competitive group so this was perfect for us!!! Again amazing experience all across the board! Carts ride so smooth and impressively fast with no annoying gas smell!!!!! Love this place! Will def be the go to for a fun weekend! I came here to have fun with the family. Once we finally got on the track after waiting 30 minutes we had fun for the first few laps then the guy with the flags started... he kept banging the board to use our breaks more, after complying on the next lap he pulled the board to let someone pass. Definitely not the place to go if you're competitive. Oh, and they give a whole speech before the race the race that if you don't obey the flags and signs they pull everyone off the track. interesting concept, average execution. the cars are way too fast for such a small track. we went when it was not that busy so there were no waits. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the guy who gave instructions was very knowledgable. The cars are not regular go karts, they are super modified electric karts that are much more challenging to drive than you'd think. I went in expecting childrens go karts like at Putt Put, not so, these little karts are wonders with superb handling and acceleration. definitely not kids toys, I actually broke a sweat and was out of breath by the time the race was over, it was physically demanding to control the cars at maximum performance. We went on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe 20 people (customers) there. A birthday party was on the track. They said at least a 3 hour wait to run juniors (kids). One person in our party drove the adults race. While we were there they were giving people one and two hour wait times. I watched several people leave while the were running races with 3 carts. Terrible management. I doubt I go back unless it's with a birthday party as (from my experience) birthday parties and selling the $6 cards are the target group and walk ins aren't really what they want to take care of. Looked clean, but by watching your customers turn around and leave it should be clean. read more

They kids with the flags waive them way to often for you to let the other guy pass and that's because I wasn't even trying to block the guys behind me. I agree with everyone that the price is too high and the wait time can be ridiculous. Having said that I still went a couple of times a month until my most recent experience. I was in a race with "Larry" who was either an employee or a good friend of the employees. Everyone said Larry is really fast so I wanted to follow him to see his lines. Larry wasn't that fast as I stayed on his bumper until lap 10 when they stopped the race and brought Larry a faster cart. Unfair and I won't be back. read more
