This place is extra run down. Go Karts are constantly breaking down, the arcade is not maintained and all the machines look like they have seen better days. We brought a family member who was visiting from another state. Nobody seems to care about what's going on, and most of the employees stand around and do nothing, meanwhile you can smell burning pizza. There's also no tv or screen to show the wait time or your place in line. After being here over 3 hours and only getting to race once, this is definitely not a place I will be coming back to. At $25 per race, this place ain't it. They also allow employees to race with you and of course they get the fastest karts and get to go at the front so the kids and families aren't in their way. Total scam. If you value your money or time, avoid this place. There are much better and better taken care of Karting places in the metroplex. Not sure if he's a previous employee who's friends with he current employees or what, but several people like "Pepsi Pat" seemed to have no wait time, while my group of 4 had to wait almost 2 hours between races. Before y'all come on here and apologize for my bad experience and what not, try making some ACTUAL changes to your business before you try and say it was a one off experience or it was a rough day, because that isn't true. It's not my first time here, but it will be my last.

My grand daughter was not allowed to ride today because she was not able to fit properly in the car. she is 2 inches taller than the minimum required. This was not my issue. A few months ago she was allowed to purchase her license and ride with no question at all. They first told us today that they had no record of her license and she was just too small for the carts. With further looking, they found her license. Fine. Safety first. However, we drove 45 minutes across town just for K1. Be consistent. At $2.50 per lap, that's just bad business. Also, we arrived early on a Thursday to avoid the crowds, no carts on the track when we arrived, and only two carts on the track when we left. The pic is from last time she drove.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GOING HERE TURN AROUND. Rockwood Go-carts and Mini golf is 10x better and cheaper. If zero stars was an option I would pick it. We arrived at 4pm 12/26/2023. Waited half an hour for our first race and then got skipped by 2 groups one of which tipped a staff member and got to go back to back ahead of us (a group of 5). We waited for around 3 hours while these two groups cut us. It took us 30ish minutes to get refunds. The manager of the night, the only one capable of refunding our money claimed she did not work there and got upset and walked off after we suggested that we get refunds. Another staff member, Randy had to get her keycard to access the register for our refunds. All staff members that night were little to no help and hostile towards us. I recommend anybody looking to come here finds an alternative. K1 Speed does not value all their customers the same. WORST GOCART TRACK IN ALL OF THE DWF

Ask the Community - K1 Speed Arlington

Do I have to have to have an person over 18 with me to race?

All drivers under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian with them and the parent/guardian will need to sign our Minor Liability Waiver prior to them racing at K1 Speed.

    Do they have shifter karts?

They do have some with paddle shifters but they are not programmed at this time. Faster with auto shifter anyway. Although it would be nice to try!

What is the age group the kids can drive by themselves?

48" (4'0") minimum height requirement for junior racers, 58" (4'10") minimum height requirement for adult racers. No 2-seater karts or mixed adult/junior races.

He only apologized once my sister told him not to touch my nephew and that he is disabled (autism) but he never tried to apologize until my sister confronted him. My nephew still wanted to climb as he wasn't aware what that man did to him was unjustified and wrong. My sister went to the manager and explained the situation but the manager (picture below: woman with short black hair and glasses) said that she was watching everything and began saying it was a parents responsibility to watch over ones child, my sister agreed with that and said that either way the man had no reason to push my nephew and that the correct response would've been to talk with her about it. The manager insisted their employee did nothing wrong. My sister recorded everything and told the manager this and also told her she wanted a refund. We went to the front desk and the manager came back with a completely different story now, she said that she spoke with her employee and that he said he never pushed my nephew. My sister then reminded her that she said she had been watching everything. She is a liar who didn't bother looking at the security cameras after my sister asked her to. She never bothered with any kind of apology even though her later statements imply she wasn't present at the time of the incident and she wasn't even sure about what had happened. This was overall a terrible experience that could've been resolved had the manager taken some responsibility and had not tried to justify the actions of a grown man towards a child with autism. This goes to show that they do not care for any child disabled or not. They don't train their employees to handle children with care and respect that they deserve. The employee didn't even know how to properly harness my nephew who despite all his excitement was standing still, he had to ask my sister to help him. From the manager to the red head employee, all of them handled this wrong and I will never come back. I hope everyone is careful with their children in their care given the manager was willing to defend a man who's first instinct is to push a child instead of talking to a parent. My sister was right next to my nephew when everything happened, I was sitting right there too and my nephew's only emotion was excitement even after he was pushed. Do better ALLEYCATS and employ better people for the safety of children.

We most recently ordered 2 Lifan KPX 250's and had them delivered in the crate, unassembled (we prefer to DIY). We had been eying these bikes for a while and they had a great sale price compared to the other dealer in Texas. When we finally decided to pull the trigger, the sale had ended the day before. However, they did us a solid and honored the sale price. By the way, we made this purchase over the phone as we had researched the bikes and knew exactly what we wanted. We made 2 separate credit card transactions, one for me and one for my brother's bike. We also paid 360 $117 each to do the title and registration paperwork for us. When we received our plates, bill of sale, and titles in the mail, we realized they had flip-flopped the VIN's and done the registration backwards. We had to make 2 trips to our local DMV to get it all sorted out as well as pay a $45 re-title fee each. Due to the mistake, I requested a refund of the $117 and $45 fee for each of us and to my surprise they agreed without any haggling and we received a check in the mail in a few days. The bikes themselves are great. My brother's bike had a small issue with one of the parts and when he reported it to 360 they were very quick to ship a replacement part free of charge. While all of the title issues prevented us from being able to ride fully legal on the street for an additional 30 days or so, I am very happy with how they resolved the matter. We are now ripping these bikes all over the city!

Previously they had some sort of unlimited pass for a certain amount of time in a day, that included attractions. That no longer exists. We decided to just load a card with funds, which previously you could use points for attractions. They didn't explain at the front counter they don't warn folks points no longer work for attractions, so we had to find out at the bumper cars that we have to go back up front and buy attraction credits at just shy of $8 a pop. During our visit on a Sunday, we ended up not seeing a single person doing bumper cars, rock wall, or lazer tag which normally being used regularly on a weekend day. Plus, the number of people on a weekend reminded us of the number that would be there on an early afternoon on a weekday. Covid killed off the buffet, the recent buy out killed off their decent all in pass for x amount for x amount of time. Now are running things a bit more like their competitors Alley Cats & Main Event. Yet there really hasn't been anything updated or improved upon in the 3 or 4 months that they have become Gametime. The cost is about the same as Main Event which is a better maintained place. While they have the indoor rock wall and bumper cars Alley cats has mini-golf and other outdoor rides. I don't expect Gametime to survive without bringing back the thing that brought people to Itz, even if there is some sort of price increase or slight change in set up. Like one unlimited pass for games and an upgrade for attractions... or vice versa. Cause there are to many just unlimited game play places in the area.

Went through all the promps which took some time and was a bit of a hassle too, but finally got it all placed and confirmed, then got 2 emails, one was confirming the ord3r and all the details, it all looked good, secons was a link for me to sign up as a member and create a personal account on their site to keep track of the status. I noticed that the order had been cancelled! So I called up again a third time, this time it was some lady in the office, she topd me it was a fraud prevention since my billing and shipping address are different which makes no sense whatsoever at all. She didnt take responcibility, but instead blamed "the system". Good one. Jokes on me. She said I shouldve gotten an email to confirm, but I explained I didnt. Not in spam, not anywhere. No calls. No emails. No nothing. And that I had been on the phone for 2 hours explaining the situation and still she laughed and treated me like it was a joke. I explained that now Id have to call my bank to make sure the funds hadnt been debited before I placed the ord3r again as this time she said Id have to place it over the phone. So Id have to go through this all over again, but this time have no record of it as before. Utter rediculous. So I called the bank and sure enough they had no hesitation or problem taking my $1,861.19, but still cancelled the order immediately. Unbelievable. So let me get this straight, if its a potential fraud issue simply because the shipping address is different than the billing you take the persons funds out yet dont deliver the product purchased? Makes no sense at all. And then NOBODY out of all 3 people I spoke to took responcibility, treated me like a didnt matter. Didnt respond to my situation or concerns etc. And now I will also have to wait at least 5 days before I can use my money as those funds are now pending as spent at my bank! As I was finishing up on my call at the bank I get a call. 30 seconds later I call back and its was TXPowersports under a different name altogether, I had to ask to confirm this, and said somebody had called and Im calling back. The guy was clueless and said he didnt know who it was. I asked who it might be and he said theyd all gone to lunch! He too tried to play dumb about the situation. Blaming it on the "system". So they take my money out, cancel my order leaving me with frozen funds, took up several hours of my day, passed the blame, didnt tske responcibility, treated my situation as a joke, I could even here her laughing about it as I was stressed out and trying to explain, played dumb and didnt have any common sense, left me hanging, and didnt offer to make it right. If they are this awful while trying to buy something I can just imagine how horrible theyre going to be if the item is shipped and has damage or if their is any issue at all with it. Im sure I will not get the paper work to title it on time either if at all and theyll just blame the "system" for everything and pass me around like a ping pong ball and then go out to lunch leaving me high and dry. No doubt about it. These people are awful and treated me like garbage. I would NOT recommend this company or any other name they go by. Arlington Powersports or Affiliated Powersports or whatever they hide behind. They truly dont care at all and youre just a number to them theyd rather not have anything to do with. Not the energy someone wants to encounter after waiting almost an hour for Fast Lanes. On the same ride, they made everyone move down 2 rows to let a family that wasn't waiting in line pick where they wanted to sit. We were bummed out because we did not want to be in the back and got moved to the back without warning. I do believe this letting families jump the line and pick where they sit is not okay especially for the people who paid extra for fast lanes. After getting bumped to the back row we were disappointed because we'd been in the back row for every ride we had been on and that was our final ride of the day. My biggest issue is the Flash Pass. I usually buy the 90% reduced wait time option and it's insanely expensive, but somehow I still end up waiting in long lines even with it, which defeats the whole point. That said, this place isn't all bad, and it's not a 1 star for a reason. The park feels more sanitary now and you can tell they're making improvements to try to make it better. One warning: do not get FanShield, they won't give you your money back. Also, I wouldn't recommend ordering tickets online, do it in person just in case.
