First off, Chuck is amazing and he makes the best drinks. I'm not sure what I ordered but it has be feeling real good after just one... so I ordered 2. We went on a Sunday evening and it was empty so we pretended like we rented out the whole space lol. Customer service was on point and we had a very cute date night throwing axes on the wall. Great idea for a date night, and amazing to let out all that stress by tossing them axes. I was nervous at first, but I managed to get it to stick to the wall on every throw. Owner opened 3 hours early to accommodate a work event of 17 people. He didn't even require a deposit and just relied on my honesty of not canceling. He has a partnership with the taco restaurant next door and the owner allows you to bring the Mexican food you buy there to Lone Star Axe. Does anyone complain about axe throwing? We heard the fun happening from the shared wall and had to check it out. We've both axe thrown and had fun, so had to get a session in. Candace helped us and they were freaking awesome. I've ace thrown multiple times and NO ONE took the time to help me with my form or figure out the best way for me to get the axe in the wood. I had no issues here!! I wasn't drinking, but my husband was. They had some great liquor options. The price felt really fair as well, an hour is plenty of time to get some good throws in. Axe throwing is a big trend right now and I have been very curious about trying it out. We had so much fun! You pay per person per hour. Non-axe throwers do not have to pay. They also have some games (arcade, Jenga, etc) for kids and adults other than axe throwing. They serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can bring your own food if you'd like. If you go on a weekend make sure to get a reservation, bc it gets pretty packed! The staff was very helpful and attentive. Took my bf here for his birthday and he enjoyed it! It was something we never did before so we decided to give it a try. We made a reservation and was one of the first people there, so it was cool to be by ourselves for a bit before the crowd started showing. Our instructor was such a cool guy. He explained everything, talked to us for a bit and even introduced us to some of his favorite tacos from the spot next door (and they were good) We chose to do the hour and it more than enough time, unless you want to eat. Staff is very knowledgeable on axe throwing and try to help you as much as they can so you can have a great time! This Axe throwing venue is a perfect environment for family and friends. First time throwing axe it was a pretty good experience. Me & my husband paid about $50 for 2 people for 1 hour. You must make reservations online ahead of time. We came here on a sunday night, It was pretty dead. You check in at the desk located in the middle wall. The young lady taught us how to throw and the rules. They come up to you 5 mins before your time is up to let you know. The place is pretty clean for the most part. There are drinks for purchase but I must say it's kind of expensive. read more

I have never been prior, I came out to other people, we only stayed for about 45 minutes there was nothing wrong with the location. We just didn't find it too entertaining for long periods of time, I will say that mask by staff aren't enforced. My group came on a Wednesday evening and had the place to ourselves. We had SO much fun here. For $25 each we had an hour but they really let us have more time than that. The drinks were sooo cheap. I had a reservation at 5 pm , we got there early like they said & the guide half assed showed us how to throw. Granted we've done axe throwing before but she wasn't helpful. We only got 1 axe, and i expected 2 because there was 2 people. Other places give 2 so we can play games so I didn't like that. Theres no timer or clock in your lane to tell you how much time you have left, they just come and tell you "oh you have 5 minutes left" because we started at 4:55. The owners are amazing! The staff is very nice and are always excited to help you when you come in. The axe throwing is the main thing of course but they also have shuffle board and a couple other games. I think giant connect four as well. The local beer selection is wonderful and I can't wait until they add more. Be aware if you are sensitive to noise you might bring some little foam ear plugs with you, but it's really not much louder than a busy bowling alley. read more
