Awesome mini golf, but the arcade has zero seating. After about 45 minutes of golfing in over 100 degrees, I bought about $100 in arcade cards. I almost instantly regretted it as soon as we figured out there was not a single place to sit for parents. They have a decent size party room, but unless you rent it, they don't allow anyone in. The whole time our kids were playing we stood while staff mopped the room in the middle of the day. The room was empty from the time we arrived at open so it blows my mind they would not put one of their 5 tables with benches down for customers. When I asked about seating they recommended we sit outside on the benches by the mini golfing in triple digits, leaving a blind straight path between my kids and the exit. Not an option. read more

My husband and I have been golfing our way thru a number of states. We were happy we chose Jurassic Zone for our last nite in Texas. The greens were extremely well maintained and in good order. There were many challenging holes. They rated most holes par 2 or 3. Good luck. Quite a few of the what we call "ant hills". You know, if you don't get a hole in one and you're off to the side, tricky getting that little ball up that hill at close range. There were lots of kids inside with the amusement games, so great place for the fam. I wouldn't have a little tyke play this course. Gave it a 4 because no senior or military discount. Come on guys? But we had a great time and he beat me by 1 stroke! read more

Has a ton of potential but is lacking greatly. We paid to have a birthday party there and weren't allowed any time at all to set up/decorate. All of the young staff seemed to have attitudes and you can tell they don't really wanna be there or help. What we paid to reserve the room doesn't include anything we paid for all the games/tokens and mini golf for each person at our party separately, it was super chaotic and unorganized. No fridge/freezer to keep any Icecream or cake. Just not the best fit for a birthday party. It was also hotter inside than it was out? Which means cranky sweaty kids and adults. BUT the games were fun and we really enjoy the mini golf. Perfect for our toddlers. read more

This place was definitely meant for a specific mindset. We attend a birthday party today. The party room was small and they have 5 parties going on at the same time. Children were running around everywhere, so you really have to have patience because the space is not that big, so it makes it more chaotic. The arcade space is small and fills up really quickly, so you can't truly enjoy playing. We did not mini golf, as it was little cold for our 2y/o. However, we did take a few pictures with the dinosaurs, and was the highlight and the only reason it got 3 stars. My suggestion is spend a few extra dollars and go to another place to enjoy the games. read more

It cost 27$ for 3 people to play. Thought they had air hockey... but no, they took it out ,as well as skeet ball. So if your kids just want to play for tickets this is that place. Otherwise, go somewhere they have REAL Games! read more

This place was super fun as long as you like little kids everywhere and noise and chaos and flashing lights - which I do! Most of the games worked great and anytime you can play skee-ball you should. It made me feel like a kid again. Check it out if you have kids or if you need a great date place to not take yourself so seriously! read more

Fun place to take the kids! A lot of the arcade games are broken just a heads up, but they give you extra coins if you need them. Putt putt was nice and fun! Kids love the Dino's. It does get very crowded inside if you're worried about that. read more

This use to be a favorite place to take my daughter for the last 5 years or so. But after visiting today we will not be returning. A third of the arcade area has now been enclosed for new office areas. The classic arcade games like skee-ball, air hockey, etc... have been replaced by games that were either out of order or that were constantly malfunctioning. Beware of the ENTRY FEE $$$$ Not all games a nickel!!$$$ (some take up to 6 equaling 30 cents..!?) I can't believe we just drove an hour to get to this place Our 6 year old went here with his daycare and had been asking to come back. We decided to make a day of it and drive all the way out here just to be charged $3.25 at the door per person to enter. Family of 3, $9.75 plus a $5 nickel cup...next time we'll take our $20 and go to Chuck E Cheese. I can't believe a place will charge entrance fee to watch a 6 year old play standard arcade games. It was too cold and windy to play miniature golf, but my 4 year old, husband and I had a good time playing in in the arcade! Some of the games ate our coins abd are definitely in need of an upgrade but it's a neat little local place to spend a little time laughing! read more

We had a great time a Buffalo Nickels! The mini golf course was challenging enough for Mom and Dad but still fun enough for our 4 year old. Perfect for what we were looking for. We have a 2 and 4 year old and wanted a mini gold place that wasn't too overwhelming for them. This was honestly the perfect size place. They also had nickel arcade machines, which was awesome. A lot of them were broken down, however we still managed to have a great time. read more

My family and I love this place! I see many people complaining about the entry fee. The entry fee is not a concern for us and I'll tell you why. Let's break it down for a family of four. Each family member pays $3.25 entry + $5 nickel cup, that's $8.25/person. A total of $33 for the entire family and each person gets 100 nickels, which will allow them to play, an average of 25 games. If the family wants to play golf, tack on another $3-4/person and that's a grand total of $45-49. However, if you play the arcade 1st and win 500 tickets, that gets you a free game of golf, if you choose to use your tickets for golf and not toys. Now let's look at a common pizza arcade place, not including the pizza. The special is usually 100 tokens for $20. 20x4 = $80. On average, you get to play 25 games and utilize a free play tower. At the pizza place, I've already spent more money and didn't get to play outside, making memories, playing golf. Also, since we usually buy pizza and drinks, we only purchase 100 tokens and the family has to share those 25 games, so we don't blow our budget. I'll choose Buffalo Nickel over any pizza arcade chain, any day. Plus, there are times that I pay the $3.25 entry fee and my daughter can use her own nickels or Christmas/Birthday money she has saved up, to play games. Total is $6.50 for the 2 of us. (I'm sure there's tax, but I did not calculate the tax.) read more

I took my son to Buffalo Nickels last night (Tuesday night) around 6pm. There are around 22 games/attractions that were setup in the arcade area and all but two were functioning great. It is "cozy" which is a word I use for small but large enough for us to have fun. It was clean and the young person working the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable as well as patient with kids that were trading in their tickets. We did not play mini-golf but it looked like a fun course. There is lighting but it was a little too dark for me for night play. We will probably go again sometime in the future. There is a cost to get in and only two of the machines cost just one nickel to play (most were 2-6 nickels) but I found the cost worth it for the 40 minutes we spent there. read more

$17.50 just to walk in the door, most games were out of order, staff very unfriendly and rude when we questioned the $3.50 per person cover charge. They explained it offset the low cost of game play. The games all cost between 4 to 5 nickels per play,and most of the games were out of order. I was not impressed, neither were the other 4 people that were with me. read more
