this location is trash. we ordered personal pizza, they never made it. the peach tea tasted a day old, the service was bad, they didnt even pass by to pick up plates, we cleaned up after our selfs either way. we got food poisoning because that's the last place we went and ate. read more

I was taking care of my two grandchildren and decided we'd go there for lunch. there was not a lot of pizza on the bar but we've manage to get a few slices of some somewhat cold pizza. Also I'm talking with one of the workers there about the game room he told us that you had to get a card and add your money onto it but all the games were a dollar and if you put a dollar on the card it only gave you $.99 so then you had to pay another dollar to play one game and then another dollar to play another game what a racket and then they wanted to card back. This is your run of the mill cheap pizza buffet. Nice staff, okay food, low price. They recently came into this decade and started to take credit cards, for years you had to use an ATM in the front of the store, which charged you an exorbitant fee. I do highly recommend two things: A. The bavarian dessert pizza. It tastes like yellow cake batter B. Turning your trip into a source of entertainment by your party leaving as individuals and seeing who can sneak out the door without getting a "BYE, THANK YOU!" from the staff. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The food was delicious. I literally put a $10 bill inside a machine to get tokens/credits for the kids to play games there. I put the money inside the machine and the machine did not work properly. It took my money and so then I took the time to ask the manager if I can get my $10 back or to fix the machine. He said, I can't give you your money back but, you can call this number to get your money back from the kiosk that is associated with them. I was very serious an irate about it. I did let the manager know that I would like to get his managers number so I can speak to them instead of the manager on duty since he did not provide any customer service at all. After waiting 10+ minutes of trying to get another manager, the Burleson Police Department showed up and told my family that I could not be there anymore and we had to leave. Are you kidding me? Pizza was good I loved the pepperoni and jalapeño stuffed crust pizza. They are very good about having 20 different types of pizzas ready. They always have the great brownies and cinnamon rolls. I don't except much from buffet style restaurants but I will not come back to this cici's unless I see that the cleanliness and health concerns are addressed. It was super busy there was no pizza on the buffet not one single slice. No pasta no pizza and we waited 20 mins while waiting one of the female employees was getting the pasta ready when we was washing the pasta in the sink she was washing her hands over the pasta and the water was running directly into the pasta. Not once but twice she did this. After I seen that and waiting for pizza for 20 mins along with about 40 other people. I asked for a refund and left. We ate at this Cici's once again after being pleasantly surprised the first time. First of all, there is a wide variety of pizza to your liking & the times we've been there it continues to come to the buffet at a steady pace. The salad bar is also good as is their soup. I cannot dismiss those delicious cinnamon rolls 'cause you gotta save room for those. All of this for a nominal price & they even have a game room for kids. Walked in and asked for a large spinach pizza to go. The woman at the counter told me it would be 10-15 minutes. I sat on the bench right next to the registers for 30 minutes and no one checked on me or anything. Finally I got up and asked if the pizza was close to being done. Come to find out it was done long ago and placed on the buffet instead of in a box for take out. I had to wait another 15 minutes. When I got the pizza it was not good at all. Hardly any sauce on it. I absolutely HATE that they have done away with plates and utensils and whatnot. They give you this aluminum plate and expect you to change a paper on it every time you eat. No more metal utensils, either. All disposable. Same goes for the cups and bowls. Everything is paper. It really lowers what little quality this restaurant had. The manager is awful! The only good thing about this place is Ann. She is amazing! The manager David mentions past employees to new employees by name and what they did wrong. My son put in his two week notice and the weekend before school starts a week into his 2 week notice they put him Friday, Saturday, and Sunday working double shifts. They made him work doubles often but he told them it was killing him. (he is 16) He did quit instead of working hard for three days and then wake up at 6 to start school. But he had no right to bring my sons name in a conversation with someone else he was hiring. David constantly talks down to his employees and he is not a good manager. My son worked 40-48 hour weeks in the summer. He was called in on his days off often until he finally stopped going in every time he called. He was a good employee he even took the fault of other employees so they did not get in get in trouble including the shift manager that rushed them to close because her boy friend was waiting outside. This was my first time eating at a Ci Ci's. The young lady at the register apparently has a problem with WHITE people. She was talking in a very quiet voice. I kept asking her "What?" I finally was able to figure out what she was saying, the next customer was her same color, she talked nice and loud for her. The worst local experience I encountered being a new resident of this area. My step-son with special needs wanted to try out this CiCi's. We ordered two separate individual pizzas. Neither of us could finish and ask for a box the manager VERY arrogantly said they don't give boxes. I told him we couldn't finish and needed to take home the remaining food. He said no again. We rapped the food up in napkins and on the way out he said it was a corporate policy, I could understand it if we purchased the buffet, but we didn't we purchased individual pizzas' and paid 17 bucks...So not only was the pizza marginal the store manager's attitude was totally unacceptable and rude.
