The good? The 80s retro vibe. An actual old school pizza buffet. The bad? I got there right when the buffet started at 11am. The pizza was already cold. I am guessing they set it out to be ready for the rush. (There were already about 15 people waiting inside). The did add pizza, slowly but it wasn't consistent. Good? The old school arcade games. If I hadn't found this place online, I probably wouldn't have stopped. It's not something I would likely ever drive by, and if so, wouldn't be compelled to stop. It's in a very unassuming strip, beside a bar, and the steel front door is less than inviting. That said, once you open the door, it's a very warm, inviting atmosphere with a friendly staff and clean, ample dining room. The all-you-can-eat bar includes salad and toppings, a few desserts, and of course several varieties of pizza. The crusts are mostly thin and crispy, which is my preference, and the toppings are fresh and the selection sufficient to most appetites. I'd put it on par with a Pizza Inn or Double Dave's, but I really enjoy the Parton's Crust! I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. It's a nice change from fast-food when you want a quick bite. read more

I have not been here, since I was a kid! Things have not changed much. They use the same ingredients because, it taste like it did, in the 8o's How about that for some consistency! There's been a slight remodel but, the original decor is still in place. The same light fixtures, the same juke box, wood paneling and Pinball Machines! They have great customer service. The employees seem to like their job because, they are ready to help with a good attitude. I ordered a personal pizza for $5.75. It had a crispy crust with bubbling Cheese on top with a yeasty taste, almost like it was made with Beer. My Pepperonis were a little to crispy and had a charred taste but, oh well. Well, pick up your kids from school and take them to Parton's. They will love the pizza, games and nostalgia! read more

Went tonight around 6:45pm! We got a salad which was pretty good and fresh! Then they put out some tater tots which are pretty good! They were no forks however they got us one really quick! It's $16 a person for buffet pizza! There was NO fresh pizza at all on the buffet! They put one out while we were there and one guy came and took all of it except 1 piece I believe he ordered that for himself! We waited a bit and I finally ask if they were going to put some fresh pizza out! At that time they came and cleared off the buffet and brought 2 pizza's out! The best thing about this place is delicious chocolate chip cookies! Hope they get a little better since we drove over 30 miles to get there! Happy Eating Everyone! read more

I feel like I just stepped back in time. This place has been here since 1968 and looks like they never changed the decor. Its just adorable!! The pizza on the buffet was good, on the first trip then the pizza I requested which was Hawaiian came up and whoa it was hot yummy and super cheesy! Just the way I like it. Salad bar was small worth the basics but everything was fresh. The people working here made it seem more like we were visiting their home instead of a restaurant. Totally love this place. Came here to give a local restaurant a try. It was our first time here eating their buffet pizza. You pay first before eating. It's a good thing we came during lunch time so we can get fresh pizza. The pizza was ok, the pepperoni tasted a bit off palate to me. I do like the fact that the crust was thin and crispy. Salad bar is simple and ok.. they do have cookies and banana pudding for dessert if you have a sweet tooth. Overall, honestly the best thing I had was the chocolate chip cookies. There wasn't much of a service bedsides self serving yourself. It can get busy and you might have to wait for fresh pizza, so keep that in mind when visiting. read more

Clean restaurant, friendly staff. I'm a fan of thin crust and they do it well. Especially like the rim or end piece, much like a cracker. Pizza place and pizza itself has an old school feel. Bc it is an old location that has seen many decorative changes it's kind of interesting. Definitely could tell this place would have been lit back in the 80's. Pizza was really solid. I found the tomato-bacon to be a little decadent for my liking. Still good tho. The cheese pizza was my favorite. Knocking them down a star bc I'm serious about my pizza and I've had a few places slightly better and the location is a little shady. Had a couple of street people hanging around outside the door. They didn't give us any trouble but made us feel a little uncomfortable. But I would recommend this pizza and the salad bar was good. read more

Great hole in the wall pizza joint tucked away in West Ft Worth. They have a buffet(that we missed) but, we just ordered a couple of pizzas. Great specials as well. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful. We ordered an extra pizza, and they offered to keep it warm until we were done eating. The decor is simple but tasteful and functional. The pizza was amazing! Reminds me of the old Pizza Inn style. Light thin crust, tasty sauce(that they don't skimp on), and plenty of toppings. I really like this pizza place. First thing is the old fashioned decor that reminds me of the restaurants of my childhood. The order taker at the front was friendly and the food arrived in the amount of time we were quoted (up to 15 minutes). The pizza we ordered (small, pepperoni, bacon, tomatoes, and black olives) was excellent. All of the ingredients were fresh and I especially liked the real bacon, fresh tomatoes, plenty of black olives, the tomato sauce, cheese, and the crust which was a cracker style thin crust. If I lived anywhere remotely near Partons, I would eat here all the time. As a visitor to Fort Worth, I would strongly recommend visiting if you are in the area. I've been coming to Parton's since 1980 and have NEVER found a buffet I've loved more. The variety of flavors, the fresh ingredients and the family secret thin, flakey crust is unmatched. I remember how mom Parton would come up and do her own seasonal decorations. Since those early days Parton's has expanded but hasn't lost that "original" ambiance. I can't write about like I want to. This place is old school Fort Worth as it gets. We came back home from Florida for Christmas and had to come to Parton's. The tomato bacon and ranch pizza is our favorite. Unfortunately we didn't like this spot. The pizza was super thin like a cracker, not much sauce either. The options were basically all the same except 1 ingredient either added or subtracted. The chocolate & banana pudding + chips ahoy cookie for desert wasn't exciting. We noticed the patrons there stare a lot...don't know if it's because we aren't "regulars" or because of our skin color, it was really uncomfortable. Cicis beats this place by miles. I've been coming here since the 80's. Sadly they can't get our order straight anymore. We ordered a pepperoni with ham. Got it with no ham We also ordered a bacon and pineapple pizza. It was small for my girlfriend. She doesn't like pepperoni because it's too spicy for her. But sadly her pizza came with jalapeños on it that she never asked for. We went here for a birthday party today. There were 12 of us. They have a salad and pizza buffet. I can say that the salad bar was small and limited selection but the items on the bar were fresh and well maintained.
