Here for my son's birthday on a Saturday for the lunch buffet. The ambiance was inviting and nicely decorated with booths and tables. It's not too busy around 11:30am CT. You pay in advance and I was told it's so you can relax and eat at you pace and leave when you want without waiting on a check. All beverages are included with the $25 per adult and $12 for a child. Started with sweet tea and it tasted clean and refreshing. The buffet was great with all the Mediterranean dishes you would expect. They have a great cold table of salads, fruit, dips. Went to Terra for a late lunch and found they had a buffet. Not one that really likes buffets I tried it and glad I did. Place has a good modern casual vibe with a nice bar when walk in. Though didn't have wine they do have a good selection. Food was very good and fresh. Has a great selection of beef, chicken and lamb dishes as well as several pita breads. Have several premixed salads like Greek Salad and Cesar Salad which were fresh and tasty as well. The rice pudding for dessert was very good. Had kinda expected some baklava but didn't have it on buffet at least on the day we went. Recommend Terra if in the area and wanting some good Mediterranean food. Plan to go back for dinner and order off menu. read more

Went here for the first time for my bday lunch. Made a reservation but didn't need it. They never even asked. If you park at the two garages right next to the restaurant then you don't need to validate parking. If you park in the ones further away you will need to validate with the QR code just inside. The lady explained the buffet came with a soda, tea or water. We went to explore the buffet which was smaller than I thought it would be but was great quality of food. The thing that bugged me was that only one side of the buffet was labeled so I had no clue what I was getting until I went around and they were all listed. The food is good. Lots of options that you can choose from. I only have 2 complaints. The floor near the buffet is slippery, I slipped and I couldn't find any staff to tell them about the floor. The other complaint is that if you want baklava, you have to ask for it and then they charge you extra for it. read more

First time visitor to Terra, we walked in around 1 PM on a Saturday, were warmly greeted and informed that lunch is a flat rate buffet and for dinner they have a full menu (we did take glance at the menu which looked like much of the buffet, but more seafood and higher quality meat options ). The buffet also came with a beverage, which was about $67 before tip for two adults and child. The buffet offered a variety of dishes from cold fresh salads and traditional dips, like hummus and tzatziki to Kufta and kebab meats and delicious vegetarian options. Everything was well-prepared, well some dishes were very good, others were just good, but nothing was unpleasant making it a very enjoyable buffet. There is an attached room for private parties that can deliver full service for 175 people, it's very attractive. We sat in the regular indoor dining which was comfortable and I liked they didn't have any extra noise, keeping the dining room at a low noise level. There is a full bar and patio seating as well. Parking is directly next-door as is a valet stand. Lastly, a special shout out to the hostesses for their warmth and kindness and the staff that get the buffet clean and stuffed. Yikes, maybe fine for a lunch buffet but dinner was not good. Potatoes were underseasoned. Chicken was crispy but literally did not have a single spice on it, maybe they forgot. Yellow curry was kinda rough. Took a picture of the pickle garnish bc i was surprised it left the kitchen shaped like that. Even the best dishes were just edible. I'd give this a miss. read more

This will always be one of my favorite restaurants but only because the buffet has all my favorites. I've been coming here for years (even back when they were at their original location), and I've loved every visit. I've only made it to the new location a few times so far (life's been busy!), but every visit has reminded me why I keep coming back. The food and service have always been consistently excellent, and the new space is a definite upgrade, much more open and comfortable than before. Parking is fairly easy, with a few garages nearby and some street options as well. read more

I loved the Terra in Irving several years ago. I wasn't a big fan of Mediterranean food at the time and Terra literally changed my mind. I was sad when they closed down and have tried other Mediterranean spots since then. But, when I heard that Terra was re-opening in Fort Worth, I was so excited to be back. This location offers a decent sized dining area and also patio seating. It is nicely decorated with big windows overlooking the street. The food area is small consisiting of one buffet station for cold foods and one for hot foods containing dishes on both sides. The cold one is angled in a way that doesn't allow for passing and the clean plates are also placed there. I have to say the food is just ok. While everything tasted fine, it wasn't anything I would come back for. I ate one plate of food which says a lot for me personally. The falafel was dry and just crumbled apart. The only desserts offered were rice pudding and fruit. I will say the service was fantastic. Everyone came by to refill drinks and plates were cleared as soon as it was placed to the side. Perhaps I am just used to the other places I have been frequenting now that offer more variety and options. Sadly Terra is no longer top on my list for Mediterranean food. I don't see myself coming back here, especially with having to deal with street or garage parking. read more

After trying other Mediterranean restaurants, Terra is my favorite. I haven't done their buffet yet, but I've gone for dinner after work and the a la carte is great. Ambience is beautiful, service is fast, and the food is flavorful. The times I went they didn't have halloumi, so hopefully they'll have it next time. read more

I tried Terra Mediterranean during DFW Restaurant Week and was really impressed. I started with the Mezza Sampler (hummus, olives, pita, small salad) and it was fresh and flavorful. The Mediterranean branzino was the standout, this made me want to eat branzino more! Dessert was baklava and the layers were perfect: crispy, sweet, and buttery. Everything that we ate was delicious. We tried about fifteen items off of the buffet and each dish was better than the rest. The cauliflower, rice with vermicelli, Caesar salad, olive salad, potatoes, Spanakopita, grilled veggies, falafel, and pasta salad were prepared to perfection today. To top things off - the iced tea and rice pudding were equally fantastic. I have not been this impressed with a meal in along time. So so glad to eat Terra again - just as good as it used to be in Plano or Las Colinas. Drove over 35 minutes to have it again and it was worth every mile. Came here for book club dinner. None of us had been before but we thought hey it has good reviews let's give it a try. We are all glad we did. First off our server was great. He was very friendly and gave good recommendations. All the food we ordered was very yummy and anyone that just couldn't finish their plate definitely took it home for leftovers. In my experience, a lot of times, the food on a buffet is not quite as good as food ordered off a menu. And while I haven't had anything off the menu, I can't imagine the "menu" food being any better than what's on the buffet. Everything was brilliantly flavorful, fresh, and did an awesome dance on my tongue. :) Waitstaff was very attentive, even with two large parties for lunch and several other tables. We celebrated our anniversary with almost 50 people. Terra has a beautiful, separate room with its own buffet. I selected the dishes we wanted prior to the occasion, and they allowed our sons to set up the video equipment for a slideshow beforehand. I ordered a big cake from a bakery and delivered it to them hours before the dinner. Our guests raved about the food! Many had never been there and declared they would certainly come back. The buffet choice made it easy for everyone to pick what they liked. Carnivores as well as vegetarians thoroughly enjoyed their food. The staff went above and beyond what you would normally expect. They kept refilling the dishes and saw to it that food stayed warm. At the end of the evening, they packed the leftovers for us to take home, and even cut up the cake , packing them in little boxes for all the guests as party favors! The food is excellent, service is good, and the price is reasonable. I can't give Terra 5 stars because the dining room was hot. I don't know if the AC wasn't working or if they just keep it set really high, but it felt like 80-85 degrees. And the place was pretty much empty when we got there, so it wasn't hot from being crowded. So we enjoyed the food and will probably go back, but not during the summer. read more

I love Terra! I live closer to Fort Worth but I would drive all the way to freaking Plano to come here. I'm just so happy they opened their Fort Worth location! There's ample seating, lots of food. Originally the reservation was for a Saturday, but had to change to a Sunday. When we arrived, we found out it was only a buffet on Sunday. Nowhere on open table does it say the Restaurant Week menu is not available on Sunday. So disappointed, but will try to go back at a time when we can order off the menu. read more
