They begin chatting loudly and then starts advertising his furniture store and is handing out business cards. Their conversation was so loud that we couldn't hear what our server was telling us a few steps from our table. After 20 minutes and a sarcastic comment about being allergic to drunk loud patrons to our server, we were offered to move tables and we obliged. The food was good, but I wouldn't call it great. The pappardelle had at least 50 whole peppercorns in it and was unpleasant to eat. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or intentional. Mac and Cheese was some of the most dry, crunchy mac and cheese I've ever had, which is a total head-scratcher considering the scallops and miso cod were both really good. Unfortunately, Grace is not a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone unless you like throwing away money for a mid-tier experience. There are better steaks and restaurants that have better service and quality for your money... Wicked Butcher, Toro Toro, and Clay Pigeon are a few recommendations. The Mont on the west side of 820 gets a special shout-out. TLDR: Grace has a great historical reputation, but has since been surpassed by more modern restaurants in both value and service.
