Wow! I am so pleasantly surprised by this Salad and Go location. First, the menu was very simple to read and had lots of great options for very reasonable prices. Pulling around to the window, they greeted me by name and handed me exactly the right order within about 30 seconds. Very friendly service, she warned me to stay safe in the cold weather we are having. When I got the salad home I was surprised at how much product was in the container for such a reasonable price. I went through the drive thru tonight and just made it home and finished my meal. I was having a difficult day and decided to stop in for a quick salad. I feel like businesses around this area have gone down to McDonald's customer service experience. Missing dressing and lying about it to our face. I'm such a fan of Salad & Go and all their offerings. Even though fall is literally only 2 days away Texas was like it's STILL summer and sizzled with nearly 100 degree heat. In addition to their yummy salads their drink menu is pretty fantastic. Just so you know the drinks come in one size only. I ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade and also an Arnold Palmer and they were both so refreshing. This location is right off Hulen on Diaz so depending on time of day and the direction you're coming from the turn in can be a little tricky. read more

The lettuce was black around and the edges on a lot of the pieces and the tomatoes came like the one you see in this photo smooshed open already. The meat looks like dog food squares, now with no flavor and is overcooked. Would not recommend this place ever again and this will be my last time visiting there.. unfortunately. I always get their blue cheese salad the first one on the menu. Today I tried something different for the first time. I got Their seasonal Brussel sprout salad. It was pretty good! The blue cheese one is still my fav and it's hard to get anything else when I know it's that good, but their seasonal one was very flavorful and tasty as well! I have been purchasing salads at Salad and Go for quite a while. It's a great concept and is not overpriced and the portions are great. I also love their mango green tea. But, today when I picked up the BBQ salad with chicken as my protein, there was very little chicken. Usually, the chicken is cut into small cubes. This time it seemed to be cut in tiny pieces. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. It wasn't the best salad I have had from them as I have had in the past. The ingredients were fresh, chicken tasted clean and my only complaint is that the cherry tomatoes were whole and not cut, it's really weird to eat a wrap with whole tomato throughout, imagine eating the. BAM a burst of tomato in your mouth, I would suggest they at least cut them in half when including in a wrap. Other than that it was good. It has a little spice to it which I liked and the portion was big enough to for me to split the burrito up for two meals. The price point was fair at only $6. I ate good without feeling too full.
