This place is an offshoot from Austin, Texas and is supposedly home to the best burger in that city. Bold claim. Big energy. You would not know that from the crowd though, because the place was empty except for us. We showed up on a Tuesday around 1 pm and had the entire place to ourselves, which is tucked away in the back of a bar. But fear not, because the burger absolutely delivers. It was excellent. Juicy, flavorful, and very much in in competition with my current Fort Worth favorite burger at Hookers, which of course is closed on Tuesdays because life is unfair like that. The fries were also great. Kind of the craggy, rustic style and fried in beef tallow, which is always a win. Ours were mostly little pieces, which were tasty, but I would have loved a few long, classic fries to round things out. They offer two sauces. One is orange and looks like it should taste like a fancy mayo situation, but surprise, it is basically tastes like straight up ketchup in disguise. The other is actually ketchup, but with a smoky twist. So in the end, you are choosing between ketchup and smokey ketchup. We grabbed cold brews from the bar up front to go with lunch, which felt like the right move. The atmosphere during the day leaves a lot to be desired. It is quiet to the point of slightly eerie. Finally got around to ordering this puppy for delivery. Not gonna lie, it was pretty good. I had decent expectations and they matched those expectations for sure. I would not say it's the best burger I've ever had - and the price is certainly on the higher end for a smash burger - but overall it was pretty good. Their fries were shockingly tasty though. On your left is a small, but fully stocked bar, and there's also a comedy club inside to the back and I believe upstairs. Once you pass the bar on your right you will see the order counter to order your Wagyu beef cheeseburger. It's a double smash burger with delicious toppings. You can customize it to your liking. when the burgers came out, they were absolutely perfect, melt in your mouth burgers. Perfect flavor, the bun was great, and the french fries. As soon as I took the first bite, my eyes opened large.due to the yumminess of it all! I really like the ketchup, it tasted like a combination of marinara and ketchup. We came for lunch. The restaurant is at the back while the front is a bar. The food didn't take too long to make however when I got my burger, it was clearly burnt. I took it back and they quickly made me a new one. Overall, the fries were amazing and some of the best I've ever had. But the burger was just okay and for the price, I expected more. I will say this is a really good burger, it might look smaller than what you expect but it is filling! The meat is the best part, literally melts in your mouth. The bread also somehow melts in your mouth lol. The fries were perfectly crispy ! I think their very limited menu is different, but it worked! However, the process seemed pretty inefficient, and could stand to be worked on. The food was quick and hot, and we were back in the car in no time at all. Been here twice, first time the owner served us..and everything was hot and fresh. Service was amazing, it's located in the back of a bar/comedy club so being able to grab a late night burger and a cocktail is always a plus! Second time we came, about 30 minutes to closing, the burgers were just barely warm but the fries were hot. Almost as if the burger patty was already made. It was still good, just didn't have that hot & fresh, made to order taste that we got the first time. I stopped in after hearing about it from a friend and this spot did not disappoint. It is slightly tricky at first, given that you have to order drinks from the bar and food from the back, but it makes sense I suppose. They have a small menu... burger (2 patties standard, can add a third) and fries. Done. But it's honestly all you need. The burger is damn fine and the fries are incredible. And don't forget the special sauce - YUM! The decor is bare bones as well, just a handful of tables and, or course, the bar. But you do get to check out some skate videos while you eat, so that's fun. Do yourself a favor and pop in for a snack or even a whole meal. This burger is worth a damn chance! read more

The actual "restaurant" is back past the bar of the comedy club. Your choices are one burger option, and french fries or loaded fries. Don't ask for changes - not allowed. I was really excited to try to the burger that some are raving about. Sad to say I wasn't blown away. Think of a smash burger with cheese and jalapeños. Despite the two patties the burger didn't really have much flavor. I got the regular fries which had a seasoned coding on them. There's no tomato. There's no bacon or anything like that. The ambience is about a zero. The loaded fries, in beast mode Are outstanding. I think the entire experience set me back, including a beer and a Coca-Cola that I had to buy from the bartender, about 30 bucks for a hamburger fries, Coca-Cola and a beer. It may be the best hamburger in Fort Worth. Or it may just be really good. I think I still like In-N-Out Burger better. If this was a four dollar burger it'd be outstanding. It was a quick walk from the convention center and the wait staff were very helpful and the restaurant was very clean. The menu is simple...A burger. I made my order and it was a short wait. I sat at the bar not meaning to get a beer, but I ended up getting one. The guy next to me told me that you'll need a fork to finish. By the time I got to the last few bites....I did need a fork. The burger was great and so were the fries. This isn't a fast food spot so the prices were higher than you'd pay elsewhere, but it was worth it. I'm being nitpicky but there were no small size fries so I had to get the large. I try not to eat a lot of starch, but that's my issue. I HIGHLY recommend trying out NADC. read more
