Food is good but they never put the order through unless you go up to them and ask where your food is

This location is extremely packed, it's ridiculous! The two drive thrus were packed! The Drive thru is popular, only a few families dinning in. To go orders were just as busy as the Drive Thru orders. It's hard to wait for your order without getting in someone's way. I think, the Manager spent most of her time, call out the names of the To Go orders. The Cashier was taking orders , helping me with the scanner and completing refills. Whew! Despite the long line. I got my order and I was out! My cup of Fruit was fresh and delish. They also have a Community Board where you can leave your business card. I put my friends business card on the board. My wife and I were in the Arlington Heights area and needed a drive-thru for a late lunch instead of going into a restaurant. We were driving down Hulen and there was Chick-fil-A right in front of us. Done deal, let go! Boy does advertising work! They've been advertising their Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Chicken Sandwich and I've been craving to try one of them. Today was the perfect time. In the mobile app, for curb side, I ordered on of the new sandwiches with a side of fresh fruit and my wife ordered the Chick-fil-A deluxe with the waffle fries. The Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Chicken sandwich was SO delicious. It had an original Chick-fil-A fried chicken breast that was topped with creamy Colby-Jack cheese, brown sugar peppered bacon, lettuce and zesty BBQ sauce. Oh my, delicious. I've been coming to this Chick-fil-A regularly because it's the closest location to my job, and today was the first time I left feeling judged. I ordered a mocha iced coffee, and when I pulled up to the window, I could hear a employee mentioning not knowing how to make it. I also heard another older lady saying it has "a lot of sweetness." I understand employees may have conversations while working, but comments like that should be kept private...especially when the window is open and customers can clearly hear what's being said. Hearing that made me feel uncomfortable and judged for my order. It honestly made me not even want to drink my coffee or order it again. Well...this was close to work and I thought I made the mistake of going right at the peak of the lunch rush...the line was wrapped around the building twice. BUT the way they designed the parking lot made it a fairly short wait. I did feel bad for the people who parked because I watched several people struggle to leave. This is not my favorite Chick-fil-A to go to, but in a pinch it works. This location has not been renovated, so everything feels a little worn down. The employees are always out bussing tables and keeping it all clean though. The parking lot is a little bit of a nightmare, especially during busy hours, so be mindful as you're driving. I'm a little bummed. I've been going to this chick fil a for 6 years. I've never had a problem except last Monday when I went to take a bite in my salad and saw this bug. We called them and took it back for them to see but all they did was refund me and change my meal. I'm little surprised they didn't offer a few free future meals or a certain amount of reward points because I could have eaten that bug. I was just a little disappointed in their response. read more

Haven't eaten at this location in months. (Simply not in the area very often.) Today I was out running errands and figured what the heck! I placed an order through the mobile app and picked it up inside in the lobby. I could have picked it up through the drive-thru, but the line was too long. Lots of unfamiliar, new faces but still the same great service and warm hospitality. The food was warm and delicious, which is what I expect from CFA. I had never had a bad experience in a chick-fil-A before. Went through the drive through ordered a large sprite with light ice. At first sip it tastes just like sour tonic water so i go back through the drive through and hand the girl the sprite back. Then someone in the back said "we cant take it back" but they had already taken it. So at this point the girl at the drive thru window goes and takes the same cup i just handed her dumps it all out fills up the cup to the BRIM of ice and puts the same sour tonic water in the same cup. Didnt get the extra dressing that i asked for and the lady had a very fake smile on her face. I complimented her glasses and she didnt respond so maybe she was just having a bad day trying to keep up the customer service best she could. I love this Chick-fil-a location. Every time I visit, the service is outstanding. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Their smiles are genuine and they really want to make you feel good. Only on one occasion was my order incorrect and they took care of it with a smile. They are thoughtful about little children and have packed little containers of cheerios by the condiments. They support Purple Friday. And if you do a mobile order on Monday, you get a free cookie! On my most recent visit, I had three different mobile orders in order to redeem my freebies (they cannot be redeemed on the same order). They quickly prepared them and when one was missing, two workers made sure it was done correctly. One of my items was a fruit cup and I could tell it was fresh. No brown spots and it was crisp and delicious. The fruit cup had blueberries, green apple, red apple, strawberries, and mandarins. I went through the drive thru and ordered a kids 6 count nugget. When I got to the window the repeated my order as a 4 count and I told them I ordered a 6 count. They corrected it, no big deal. I got my order and moved forward. Checked my order and they had put a 4 count in my bag. So I went in to get it fixed. I told the sweet girl at the counter what happened and she went to the manager and the manager rolled her eyes along with the attitude from the drive thru crew saying that's not what happened. The manager gave the girl a box of nuggets and she then handed them to me. I opened the box. Still a 4 count.
