I've been wanting to eat at this particular location since the COVID-19 days. I finally got to come here. I walked in and it was so spacious and clean with soft Latin Pop Rock playing. Cashier could not speak a lick of English but was friendly. This African American guy step up and up and took our order. It was like a breathe of fresh air to have someone speak English. It was my friend's first time here. I wanted her to be able place her order with ease. The Cashier gave us multiple Hot Sauce cups and let us know to help ourselves to Chips and Salsa! I didn't know they came with the meals! He also gave us to go bags. He was working enthusiasticly and danced to the music. My Chicken was flavorful with a hint of lime. The pieces were large in size too. The Rice was kinda rubbedy and lacked flavor. I expected better. Oh well. The Charro Beans were delicious! The Corn Tortillas were home made and not store bought. My wife and I were craving so we drove from south hills. We ordered the #4 for her and the #1 for me, both combos. Maria asked if I wanted rice and beans. I said yes. She asked if I also wanted a drink with my #1 combo, because if I did she would have to charge for the drink. I politely informed her the menu says it comes with a drink and rice and beans for the combo. She proceeded to complete our order. After we paid, she informed me that the chicken won't be done for another 20 minutes. I asked her politely why she didn't tell us beforehand. There is another couple who has been waiting before us and they came up and asked why their meal hasn't came out but others have. We ordered our food at 12:57 pm. It's currently 1:25. This is Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, TX.. not Del Rio I had a customer translate that I wanted the number 8 ( do you say Tacos differently in Spanish ? Took 30 minutes to make 5 tacos . I love the chicken here. I love their chicken salads. However, the last few times I have picked up a chicken salad, my avocado is missing or the bacon is missing. This time, the avocado was missing ( I looked at my salad before we drove off), the bacon was all fatty, and left over chicken ends thrown in there. It was a huge disappointment. I can deal with the water in container from the cleaned lettuce. But this last time I was floored at how badly the salad was. Spit out the chicken, and threw out most of the salad. I can say this.. when I mentioned the avocado to the man in the window, he said it was on the salad. It wasn't and he gave me a small container with my avocado in it. SLOWEST DRIVE THRU EVER. Not even kidding. Been here 20min!!! Not even exaggerating!! I am amazed! I got the carne asada plate and it tastes like CARNE ASADA! $10 for a plate and $3 to add flour tortillas but it could make two HUGE burritos! The tortillas seem homemade but they're on the smaller side. They give you a charred jalapeño aswell as some charred onions which are delicious. The rice has the perfect amount of chicken bouillon for me but for some it may be too salty. The pico has diced jalapeños and it's spicy! Next time I go I'm going to see if I can just get a plate of meat because that alone was delicious!! read more

This place still impresses me. Their chicken is still as tasty as it was the first time. I can't get enough of their chips! Remember the old Doritos Gold chips that were firm and thick? Horrible customer service. Made an online order and said it would be ready for pick up by 8:40pm. Arrived on pick up time, was told to come back in 40 min or 9:30pm because Chicken was not ready. With all considered with COVID, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for good food. I called beforehand to make sure my order is ready to pick up and they confirmed yes at 9:30pm. I get to the window my cheesecake burrito was still getting made and had salsas missing from order. Good thing I had double checked my order before I left because they forgot my grilled sausages as well, where again I had to wait again. Telling a customer your order is ready when it is not and incomplete is very unsatisfactory. The food is great, just hoping for better service in the future. read more

Tonight must have been the worst experience that I have had coming to this restaurant. I was in the Drive-Thru I kept count for a total of 12 minutes. The vehicle in front of me and the cashier I didn't get her name but proceeded to have a full conversation after the fact she gave her her food. I honked the horn because I was fed up with waiting the cashier looked at me laughed and continue talking to the car ahead of me. After she have gave her her her food. I get out of the line because there was a line forming behind me there were three vehicles. I Went into the inside to ask for the manager who I previously seen walking around the store on her cell phone as if she was at home! She came to the counter spoke only one language Spanish. I explained to her and one of her other cashiers what had happened. They kept making excuses that the chicken was not ready I don't think we understood each other clearly. Because I kept explaining to them, that their cashier proceeded to have a long conversation after giving the car ahead of me her food. And when I honk my horn she looked at me as if I was bothering her and continue talking. I spend good money with Regios I really really love their food however I do not think I will be returning there because of this bad service. I requested for the manager's boss number they gave me a number which I plan to call. This is very unacceptable and it's very poor customer service. The place was not even as clean as it is when I usually go. This is very unacceptable and I'm very unpleased I did not get a meal tonight although they wanted to make it right. First time going here. The food was really good. Placed my order online and after a long wait in the line at the drive thru I collected my order and went home. The roasted chicken is delicious and flavorful! The rice is actually decent and never had a bad experience with them. Now the beans, they are packed with flavors but when you go on a bad day, you'll know. The beans will taste like straight up baking soda because they add that to old beans to keep from getting spoiled or smelling bad. You can literally feed a family of 4-6 with a whole chicken meal. A whole chicken with rice, beans, grilled onion, grilled jalapeño, tortillas & salsa for under $20! The barbacoa tacos are yummy too. I have also tried the torta (beef sandwich) and it was surprisingly good. The CON: Every time I had visited a Pollo Regio & ordered the half chicken meal, I have never been offered a drink nor did I realize it came with one. One day I pulled up to the window and the cashier told me that my meal came with a large drink. To my surprise, I had been robbed my large drink the thousands of other times I've gone to order this meal! WOW! So please, make sure you get your drink when you order a # from the menu.
