I can say that the salad bar was small and limited selection but the items on the bar were fresh and well maintained. We just heard about this little hole-in-the-wall pizza joint, drove 40 minutes to have dinner, and we weren't disappointed.. Food: Delicious. They have a thin and crispy crust. Not usually my style but it was delightfully different and provided a great foundation for the pie. Their sauce was thick and flavorful, but they don't overload it so it provides just enough moisture and stickiness to carry the flavor and glue the toppings to the crust without having a saucy pizza. We ate the buffet so we were able to taste a lot of their different offerings. They offer to make anything special for you so I ordered a meat lovers add onions, mushrooms, and jalapeños. They use canned/jarred mushrooms, so they still come out of the oven moist and meaty instead of dried out like fresh mushrooms get in the oven. The standout for me though was their tomato and bacon with Alfredo sauce. It was like a creamy BLT minus the L. The buffet also includes a salad bar with the usual offerings, tater tots, cookies, and a drink. Staff: Friendly and helpful. I purposely interacted with 3 employees other than the cashier and was pleased with each of them. Atmosphere: The area of town is a bit sketch, but the building it sits in is kind of by itself with fields around it so it seems fine. They have occupied this location since 1968, and just recently expanded to open up a much larger dining area. The place is sort of a run down hole in the wall. That's a plus for me. I'd much prefer to spend some money with a hometown family run business who cares about their business rather than a corporation looking pristine. Price: our total for 2 buffets which includes drinks, with tax and tip was about $15 a person. I think that's very reasonable. Customer traffic: There was a steady stream of patrons coming in for both a pre-ordered take-out or to dine in on the buffet. Lots of people were picking up multiple pies to go. The buffet would occasionally get a little low but the cooking staff was on it and did a great job keeping up and keeping it stocked. While we were there there was never anyone standing around waiting for pizza, and none of the pizza lasted long enough to look old. Veterans discount provided. read more

First off this place has the old 90's pizza joint we used to go to when I was little. (Pizza Inn) The pizza is made by request, with many others to choose from. Half the buffet is the salad bar is you like rabbit food. All of their pizza is thin crust but it's not filling, so you can eat four or five slices unlike thicker crusted pizza joints. The sit down atmosphere was very family friendly. They have booths and tables for larger families. Went with my girlfriend and was happy by how well the restaurant was kept clean. Service was great even though it's a self serving restaurant, the lady working the register kept checking on us and the other patrons to make sure we were well taken care of. They have old school arcade games that I grew up playing and hearing them brings back so much nostalgia. The booths have seen better days but that just adds to the overall character and feel of the place. Prices were good for two adults. Whether we do the buffet or get carry out, our favorite pie is pepperoni, Italian sausage and jalapenos with extra red sauce. Buffet pizza, whether ours or another diner's, has never disappointed. Tonight I ordered the large three topping pie, all for me, with you guessed it, pepperoni, Italian sausage, jalapenos and extra red sauce. Polished off half of it in a hurry. Will have the leftover portion tomorrow. The now larger dining area is great. Not as much kitschy funk decor as the original, until a popular holiday comes around. Where else can you hit up a pizza joint that's got arcade games, red/white checkered tablecloths, a buffet, amazing pizza that tastes great, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile? We try to be regulars here. It's like eating home made pizza. Nothing like what the chain restaurants provide. This pizza also has a very crispy and crunchy crust. It's a mom and pop restaurant. I Whole in a wall. Which I love. They have a good variety. You can also request a pizza. They also have a salad bar I will say it's hard for them to keep up during the rush hours. Wow! A throwback to the Good Ol' Days, Partons Pizza is Simple, nothing Fancy, no gimmicks, it's just great old fashioned styled pizza. Everything was Hot, Fresh, and delicious! It's like a Mom & Pop type pizza place and it's been around forever, that statement is a fact and should say enough about what they are about. I live 2 hours South and I could have eaten Anywhere, any Pizza place.... but I knew their reputation, so why go anywhere else!? It was as good as the last time I had it, over 20 years ago! Parton's has outstanding pizza. I take out every Sunday now. I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance but it would be well worth a drive to get to. The crust is thin, blistered and has a fantastic crunch. The sauce is tangy and bright. The toppings are always fresh. I usually get real bacon or pepperoni. It's always packed when I go in and I can see why. The pizza is amazing, the service is great, especially the girl that works the counter. Everyone there seems nice. The medium pizza fills me up for 2 meals. I plan on trying their sandwiches as well. The buffet looks really good. The restaurant is right out of the 80s. Hands down some of the best pizza. Flavor is straight fire (in a good way). Tried them once and I'm hooked, been in there at least once a week. I even love the fact that when you order to go they cut your slices small (so you feel like your getting more lol. It's the little things. We went here because this place was on a list of places every FW native should know. Well, we knew about it, we had just never been, so we found ourselves on the Westside around lunchtime and decided to check it off the list. Folks.... it's like a time machine in here. We walked out of the heat and bright sunlight of a Texas summer straight into the mid-1980's. It's cool and dark and has the same decor it's probably had since the beginning of time. I will say that everything was clean - there was as no dust on the 30 year old mirrors/signs,etc. and the booths and floors were clean as well. The wallpaper on the ceiling is a hoot and the juke box played a selection ranging from Johnny Cash to Culture Club. Ok. Food. The lunch buffet was $10 each (I was sort of expecting cheaper to be honest) & included pizza, tater tots (??), a decent salad bar (uh - there's chocolate pudding), and drink. The only thing missing is red jello. The pizza is thin crust and for the most part, had a good amount of toppings. They took requests and would yell out when a fresh pizza came out. There were times when there was only a few slices available, but they got more out pretty quickly. All in all, it's kind of a fun throwback and would be cool to show your kids how 'it used to be'.
