It was fun and for the splash pad water to turn on, you just pressed the button on the concrete pillar that is close to the entrance. We arrived early enough to grab a table that's inside the splash pad area. There are only two tables that have two benches arched to them and there are also about 4 benches to sit aside from the tables with their seating areas. It was definitely a good time. It's an enormous playground area, with a small splash pad and a trail in the back. I loved that some of the playground areas were shaded, which is crucial especially in this summer heat. Sadly, the swings aren't shaded. You can honestly be here with your little one/s for hours (when it's not as hot) since there are a lot of playground areas, swings and such a big and open grassy area for them to run around. This is for sure a shout to take your little one/s to let so if their energy out and run around or play in the different playgrounds and get on swings. Friendly reminder, parents or guardians, please look after your children, especially if you know they don't do well with other kids, even more so if the kiddos they are bullying are younger than they are. Don't get upset or bothered if another parent has to intervene, since you aren't doing anything and are just on your phone. Please be mindful and considerate of others, just in general. Everyone just wants to enjoy their time.

They were extremely small--about the size of my hand--and much smaller than a typical personal pizza. The sauce appeared dried out, and the pizza was served cold. The nachos were equally underwhelming and did not seem fresh. Overall, while we enjoyed the swimming facilities, the food quality did not match the experience. I would recommend bringing your own food if permitted, rather than purchasing food on-site. 30$ was the cost by the way

Hot time; Summer in Burleson. I will speak to the Pool and Splash pad sections of this…read moreestablishment. Weekends during the Summer are packed. Play it safe and reserve a table. We got there mid afternoon and, by chance, were able to score a table. Outdoor pool is divided into shallow and deep ends. Also, it has a diving board an adjacent overhead shaded overhang, seats, loungers and a cantina for concessions. Mind the cantina hours. I purchased the nachos with jalapeños. Cheese topping was ample. Portion was totally share-able. Remember to ask for paper towels! Staff was on their game. Door staff was able to locate our reservation pretty efficiently. Life guards were alert. Outdoor pool has a process where all kids are asked out of the pool for the last 20 minutes on the hour. This allows for adults to share in an adults only swim. There's an outdoor shower, water fountain and restroom with hand dryers. Indoor area includes a waiting pool connected to the Lazy River, a couple slides, and another break out pool. There are chairs that hugged the walls for bathing suit cover ups, shoes, etc. There are no indoor cubbies. I would say bring toys/ etc items in here at your own risk. The Lazy River keeps a decent pace. There was an incident of sick child in the water and life guards handled it accordingly. The area was restricted for the rest of our time spent there. Splash pad section rocked. Fountains that would dump water, play squirting cannons, frogs to sit upon and so on. All and all, this was a solid place to have a kid's birthday. Additional families had the same idea. Many a celebration was had that day. Parking available for the center. Our party had a blast with the party favor being that kids slept hard that evening. A perfect regrouping before school beginning again. Enjoy!

This is a fun 2.5 mile hike (5 miles round trip) that takes you from just outside of Old Town on…read morethe west side of I-35W to a neighborhood on the east side. You'll walk through hundreds of trees, along a creek, past Hidden Creek Golf Course, under the freeway, through an open field with lots of wild flowers and birds, through a cemetery and an industrial area, winding through a residential neighborhood, more woods, and finally ending up at a kids playground on the other side. Dogs are welcome and cyclists will enjoy not fighting with cars for a while and both ends of the trail have bike lanes and parking lots. There are two water stations along the trail and one of them in the middle near the cemetery has water for your dog. There are distance markers at every quarter-mile to track your progress.
