It's been awhile since I came here. As you know, I was visiting the Fountains Fellowship Church. TFF rented out two theaters so we could watch the Jesus Revolution for $5.00 so, I came here. Thank you, TFF. The theater is easy to find. It's super dark in there so, use your cellphone light to find your way. The sound is very loud too so, take you some earplugs. Also, dress warm it's cold in there.The seats recline and are in good shape. Jesus Revolution is a must see. It is about Greg Laurie's personal struggles with relationships and challenges of ministry. He begins his life as a skeptic gets saved and saves the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was really looking forward to seeing this movie on the big screen, but the theater room made it nearly impossible to enjoy. As soon as I walked in, I could feel the air was thick and stuffy -- like the AC had either broken down or wasn't on at all. Within minutes of sitting down, I could feel sweat forming on my back and legs, and it only got worse as the movie went on. Honestly, it felt more like sitting in a sauna than a cinema. I get that things happen, but there was no warning, no apology, and no effort to fix it or compensate us. For the price of a ticket and snacks these days, I expect at least a cool, breathable room. Seemed to be a corporate culture of indifference. Person at front scanning tickets never looked at us. Scanned and said "you're in 14." I asked if the one scan was good for all of us or what. He never looked up or answered. Concession worker held his hand to his face as he waited on our order. Bartender did not know how to make a White Russian. When I showed the recipe to him he started to make it and then found he didn't have the ingredients. They refused to refund the tip on the card. When I asked who got the tip I was told the bartender. I suggested he pay the lady that amount and it would all be even. He refused. I asked for the manager. She told me to leave the theater and refused to refund my money. I will call corporate today but will not return to this AMC and perhaps no other. Movies are too expensive to be treated badly. read more

We've been in a two week back and forth relationship, Today we finally made it here. Two weeks ago my sister bought us tickets to see Black Panther, it was in 3D. That's a no for me so we requested a refund. Arianna took care of us with no problem. Our second attempt as well failed, so those tickets were also returned. So, now we have an AMC gift card and a Theater Refund Card. So trying to purchase our tickets with assistance for the military discount, the young man would not take the theater refund card as payment cause it had "Not for Sale distribution" at the bottom. So we proceeded and used the gift card to purchase our tickets and paid for the remainder with cash. I was annoyed with the young man at the ticket counter and ended up spending money at the snack bar cause we were told the card was no good. I should've tried with her. Since we were early for our movie I sat and called the number on the back of the card, which told me I had a balance on the card, Back to the counter I go. He was still convinced that the balance on this card was just transferred onto my other gift card or returned to my source of payment. Why? How? It took four other employees (manager came at the end) to come to his aid. They realized that it was a message that meant it could not be sold to others. It's only redeemable at AMC. I haven't been to the movies since COVID, this was my go to theater. Before COVID it was a very nice movie theater but know the seats are broken and sunken in, some don't go back from the recline position and the Ladies restroom needed attention. Although I enjoyed Black Panther, I'll be looking for a new spot. read more

Ran out of drink several choices at Coke convenience machine. Ice was empty. I told staff but they didn't fix it. I ordered food and they ran out of it so I got a substitute. Where do I start,...popcorn stale, pre ordered and PAID (+fee) duo popcorn, get to my movie no cheddar popcorn. I lost money getting a refund because they do not refund online fees. So I paid them to NOT get my order. I brought my grandson to see his FIRST movie ever and the experience is terrible. Sitting in the theater now it's about 80° in here!! The star is for the movie itself. Wanted to enjoy an evening movie, we were in theater #5 figured the ac would turn on once the movie started but it didn't. Went and told someone jt was hot in there if they can turn on the ac and it turned on for about a minute. If I wanted to be hot watching a movie I would've went the the drive in. read more

Sign up for the AMC stub card (you can purchase through their app. It makes keeping up with rewards and movie tickets so much easier.) They have different tiers for how much you would like to pay for it. Every purchase (movie, snack, drinks) you make youll rack up points and earn awesome rewards. I always get free $5 to use towards movie tickets etc. The app is awesome. The app also Shows you all the showtimes at different amc theatres, making it easier for you to decide which theatre you prefer to watch your movie. Plus once you sign up for the stub premiere tier..when you purchase tickets online they waive the convenient fee! Those little fees add up over time so this def helps saving money. This amc in burleson is my go to because it's the closest to me. Plenty of parking space. Since it is not attached to a movie theatre it doesn't get overally packed. Reclining chairs!!! If you prefer to watch movies without crying babies and loud teens, pick a later time in the night or early during the day. I try to avoid the peak times/dinner time (4pm-8pm) thurs-sat. Only thing i would complain about is... the trash cans. I wish those would be cleared out more often. There's always a huge mountain of trash just building on top of each other. The workers are always super nice and welcoming. Getting through the lines is always super fast. Especially buying movie tickets on the app before hand. Since it is reclining chairs, you can pick the specific seat(s) you want to sit in. So if you hate watching the trailers before the movie starts you don't have to worry about going super early...because your seat is already reserved. read more

This has been my preferred movie theatre for the last several years, however, lately, the quality has gone down. From the workers, to the concession area to the theaters being dirty. 9/3, I went to see The Equalizer 3 and towards the end of the movie, I saw some run across the floor. Honestly? I thought it was the reflection of the movie or maybe someone's shoe but the little fella ran out again and went down the next row. Mice carry all kinds of diseases so AMC was very fortunate no one was bitten. I'm a bit floored that the theaters are so dirty. We drove out of our way on a Christmas Eve to catch Fantastic Beasts, and we were not disappointed. The theaters themselves are comfortable (big pleather seats), clean, and the quality of the film and sound is great. You can feel it in your belly. Customer service was fast and friendly, even though the cashiers were working on Christmas Eve. And, the food was edible, which really is all I care about at a traditional movie theater. Oh, did I mention there is a full bar? No, well there is, and the bartender was a "hoot" as my grandmother would say. He was also fast and friendly and helped pick some good beers and drinks. Of course, as with all food and drinks at a movie theater, the prices are crazy. But, I love being able to drink and eat while watching a movie at the theater. Now, not all was well at AMC Burleson 14 though, which is why I did not give them five stars. The condiment station and the food area was messy and disheveled, and the bathrooms were TERRIBLE! And, I mean TERRIBLE. In the guy's bathroom, not a single stall was clean, and my girlfriend reported the same in the lady's bathroom. Normally cleanliness would count for more, but as this was Christmas Eve, only taking off one star seems fair. All in all, I recommend this place. If they have the movie you want to watch at the perfect time, but it's a drive, make the drive, you won't be disappointed. read more

I have been a fan of AMC for quite sometime. Unfortunately, they do not staff their facility appropriately to provide a high level of service or cleanliness. The lobby is always a disaster, popcorn everywhere, the kids that work there have horrible work ethics and poorly clean the theaters. It is disappointing to pay $85.00 for popcorn, drinks, candy, and a movie with my family when the only benefit is a greasy leather seat. There was debris, trash, and liquid in my cup holder, popcorn in my seat, popcorn in the floor, and the whole experience is lack luster. I attend this AMC regularly, since I am an A-List member. I have seen a decline in the overall cleanliness of the lobby area, concessions, and the seats within the theater. I think they should take the time to clean more often, wipe down the chairs, etc. Service has always been excellent and the screens, chairs and quality of movie viewing is fantastic. Most of the AMC's are pretty solid places to watch movies. However, more attention to keeping things clean would be much appreciated. read more

But i prefer to go to the theaters with reclining chairs and since the grapevine mills theater had no showings the time i wanted we decided to go here. as we are walking into the theater and up the stairs to find a seat i spot a RAT climbing through the seats. I immediately froze and ran out. Saw maverick today and I was disappointed. They seemed to have turned the subs off. A jet in real life will make your chest feel like you're having a heart attack. Been here over 100 times. Went to go watch a horror movie with my 16 year old sister. I'm 18. A worker went into the theater and then went to go tell his manager that I'm not 21 and my sister can't watch an R rated movie without someone over the age of 21. Why did the manager ask me is I was an adult then?? Never ever had this problem before. Been to many r rated movies with my younger siblings. Nice theater. Their seats are extremely comfortable. It feels like sitting in a super comfy recliner. My reason for not giving it a higher ranking is that there was gum & candy stuck in the seats. I put my hand down & it stuck to a big wad of chewed gum. Really gross. There is food & popcorn strewn all over the floors. The staff takes forever to get your food. Purchased tickets online for Top Gun. It may have been in teeny tiny print, but the ticket that was sold to me was for the Spanish version. Me and 16 other people were either refunded or were able to move to another showing. Manager and employees were very condescending, like it was our fault. No one who bought tickets for that showing knew it was in Spanish and I'm not sure why Spanish would show up first when I did a search on the AMC website. read more

Disgustingly dirty! I am here at 11:30 am on Saturday and it is obvious they have not cleaned up from last night. It's disgusting with popcorn and soda messes all over the counters and floors. I went to see Jurassic Park today with my boyfriend and my daughter. It was the first time we'd been to see a movie since COVID started. My boyfriend was wearing a neck gaiter and as soon as we walked in he was told No, you can't wear that in here. They had a mask for him but due to the fact that he is a very large man it didn't fit well and was very uncomfortable. The mask requirements for Burleson and Fort Worth state that a homemade mask, scarf, or handkerchief are acceptable so I am not sure why this place has a problem with neck gaiters and is requiring something beyond what city requirements are. on our last 3 visits, we have noticed the mismanagement of the theater environment. Specifically, the restrooms have the cleanliness of a west Texas truck stop, the staff allow the soda machines to completely run out of most popular sodas causing a large group of people to surround the soda machines. When the issue was presented to management there was an extreme lack of urgency in addressing the issues and a discourteous/ disdainful response. Given with the challenges of this establishment seem systemic my family and I will no longer spend our money here. read more

This place is a lot better than when it was Hollywood movies. But the ticket counter is set up weird. They have the screens where you can purchase tickets yourself but they have them right there at the counter and nobody knows that they're there or they can use them. So people wait in line. And it looks like you're cutting if you decide you don't want to wait and will use that instead. They should have them off to the side. They also should have a line going directly to them! What's the point of having them there if nobody can actually use them. That's really my only complaint, it's really inconvenient The recliner seats are cool. read more
