This place is extra run down. Go Karts are constantly breaking down, the arcade is not maintained and all the machines look like they have seen better days. We brought a family member who was visiting from another state. Nobody seems to care about what's going on, and most of the employees stand around and do nothing, meanwhile you can smell burning pizza. There's also no tv or screen to show the wait time or your place in line. After being here over 3 hours and only getting to race once, this is definitely not a place I will be coming back to. At $25 per race, this place ain't it. They also allow employees to race with you and of course they get the fastest karts and get to go at the front so the kids and families aren't in their way. Total scam. If you value your money or time, avoid this place. There are much better and better taken care of Karting places in the metroplex. Not sure if he's a previous employee who's friends with he current employees or what, but several people like "Pepsi Pat" seemed to have no wait time, while my group of 4 had to wait almost 2 hours between races. Before y'all come on here and apologize for my bad experience and what not, try making some ACTUAL changes to your business before you try and say it was a one off experience or it was a rough day, because that isn't true. It's not my first time here, but it will be my last.

My grand daughter was not allowed to ride today because she was not able to fit properly in the car. she is 2 inches taller than the minimum required. This was not my issue. A few months ago she was allowed to purchase her license and ride with no question at all. They first told us today that they had no record of her license and she was just too small for the carts. With further looking, they found her license. Fine. Safety first. However, we drove 45 minutes across town just for K1. Be consistent. At $2.50 per lap, that's just bad business. Also, we arrived early on a Thursday to avoid the crowds, no carts on the track when we arrived, and only two carts on the track when we left. The pic is from last time she drove.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GOING HERE TURN AROUND. Rockwood Go-carts and Mini golf is 10x better and cheaper. If zero stars was an option I would pick it. We arrived at 4pm 12/26/2023. Waited half an hour for our first race and then got skipped by 2 groups one of which tipped a staff member and got to go back to back ahead of us (a group of 5). We waited for around 3 hours while these two groups cut us. It took us 30ish minutes to get refunds. The manager of the night, the only one capable of refunding our money claimed she did not work there and got upset and walked off after we suggested that we get refunds. Another staff member, Randy had to get her keycard to access the register for our refunds. All staff members that night were little to no help and hostile towards us. I recommend anybody looking to come here finds an alternative. K1 Speed does not value all their customers the same. WORST GOCART TRACK IN ALL OF THE DWF

Ask the Community - K1 Speed Arlington

Do I have to have to have an person over 18 with me to race?

All drivers under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian with them and the parent/guardian will need to sign our Minor Liability Waiver prior to them racing at K1 Speed.

Do they have shifter karts?

They do have some with paddle shifters but they are not programmed at this time. Faster with auto shifter anyway. Although it would be nice to try!

What is the age group the kids can drive by themselves?

48" (4'0") minimum height requirement for junior racers, 58" (4'10") minimum height requirement for adult racers. No 2-seater karts or mixed adult/junior races.

From the moment guests walked in, they couldn't stop talking about how beautiful, modern, and spacious the venue was. The amenities are a major plus and made the entire event stress-free. The staff was AMAZING -- so helpful, accommodating, and on top of everything. They helped set up the space so beautifully, it honestly felt like a dream! And let me talk about the bar DFW Bartending came THROUGH. My guests were raving all night about how fast the bartender (Gabby) was, how delicious the drinks were, and how professional she was. The bar service alone elevated the entire event. Another huge highlight: the restrooms and dressing rooms. The bride and groom suites were modern, spotless, and absolutely beautiful -- seriously luxury vibes. Everything was super clean and well maintained. Wtf Backyard! $15 for a Long Island. that is insane. Booooo!!!!! How are we supposed to have fun…read morein this recession. And! The ticket said gates open at 6:00 event at 7:00. At 7:30 they played like 2 games and the first band didn't come on until after 8:00. The main band didn't come on until after 9:00! We came early to get food at Texas live but Geash I could have gotten food at 7:00 and not been worried about getting in for the band to start at 7:00. instead we got food at 5:00. To come in at 6:00 to find a good place to stand and watch the band but didn't hear a band for 2 hours.... How are w you going to start that late. The ticket lead me to believe the main event was at 7:00 not after 9:00. And I'm angry bc I'm not drunk bc I can't afford yalls drinks Writing this review is the most entertainment I had in the first 4 hours waiting for the band. All in all it was fun. But get the timing right. It was one star but Giovanni and the Hired guns did such a good show I'll bump it up since it was worth the wait. But I'm still disappointed that nothing started on time.

There is over hang so if it is raining you can stay dry in most of the place. You have general admission which is the way to go you can get pretty close to the front. The very front is a reserved seating. On the second floor it cost more but if you do not get on the rail you cannot see anything. Do not get second floor unless you go early and get a rail seat. Or what we did is go downstairs to general admission. You have plenty of bars for drinks and beer 10 dollars for beer but it is a large beer. You can go into Live and other restaurants just make sure you get a wrist stamp. The sound is very good it is loud but fun you will have hearing loss one day like me. The first band we saw had a large video screen it was great. The second time no video screen not good. The only bad thing I saw was getting into the venue they have a very long line to go through metal detectors. This is dumb you can go all over the place inside Live, all the restaurants everywhere no body stops you or searches you. But to go into the Backyard you have to get searched. Parking is free at this time to the east of the place. Not free during Ranger games.

Had my wedding here in Sept 2022. I've had to take time to really think about my experience so I…read morecould give an honest review. Overall, my experience was positive. Shannon was my coordinator when I started the process. I'd researched the venue prior to booking and Shannon had received great reviews. I hoped I'd get her and was excited when I did. I loved her immediately. However, over the course of 18 months, my coordinator change 4 times. But in the end, I ended up with Shannon, which I was happy about. My wedding was beautiful! It was everything I'd wanted. The venue was beautiful and looked upscale. I got a great rate and everything was explained clearly to me upfront. I was able to visit and take part in as many tastings as I wanted. The planning process went great. Every accommodation was made to satisfy me. Even when we groom showed up over and hour late for rehearsal and we were told that they would charge extra if we went over our scheduled time, they didn't charge us although we went an hour and a half over our time. We were told that our meal was only for one entree per person, but they allowed our guests to get seconds and did not charge us. (I felt like this should have been the case anyway, since we paid for the food.) With all of that being said, there were some issues. My friend was there to help my cake baker set up the cake and add the final personal touches to the reception area. She was turned away with no reasonable explanation, although I'd provided notice that she would be there to assist. Also, we were not given the rest of our cake. I had to go back and get it the Monday following our wedding. My coordinator was changed again, the day before our wedding and we met Dee the evening of our rehearsal. Dee was not the most professional coordinator and got into arguments with several of my bridesmaids because of her lack of professionalism. She was better the day of the wedding and was helpful and Shannon was there to help as well. After the wedding, we were rudely yelled at to exit the chapel before we were done taking our photos. I found out later than I mom was asked to clean up the rose petals from the floor of the chapel! I was furious and this should have NEVER happened no matter what the circumstances were! When my some of my guests mentioned they didn't have a seat because more people came than expected, instead of them setting up another table as I was told they would, my guests were told that wasn't their problem. A table wasn't brought out until I had to go complain after our officiant came to tell me he was leaving because he didn't have a seat. That also was UNACCEPTABLE!!! As I said, overall, my wedding day was everything I could have wanted and more, even with the mishaps (now that incident with my mama ALMOST took this review another direction! But I think deducting two stars sufficed.) My vision came together and was executed pretty much exactly as I planned it. My guests had a great time and raved about how beautiful and classy it was.

Oh dear... I knew…read morethe time would come that I would have to write my first sad review, and I would in fact be... sad. BUT!! Let's start with the positive shall we?! We went here for my husband's company Christmas party last Friday night. The cupcakes was DELISH! THE PERFECT cupcake! I normally pass on the frosting with cake, but this frosting was yummo. The right amount of sweetness and precisely light and fluffy. They had set up a cute little toppings bar to add goodies to your choice of vanilla or chocolate cupcake. Whipped cream (also delish!), oreo cookies crumbles, diced strawberries, and choppped nuts. It made a really cute and yummy dessert. The dinner was pretty tasty as well.. but I say its just as average as any other "wedding venue" food. The decorations were festive, very Christmas like and fitting for the occasion. However what I was very disappointed in (mainly for the sake of my husband's bosses who were wanting to put on a very nice evening for us), was that the coordinator for the night kept checking in on our host and hostess the entire evening and not in a "can I help you" way. They rushed them, pushed the schedule, started cleaning up our tables early at 7:15 when there were still guests in the room, AND when they'd rented the room until eight. We all sort of made light of the situation and the "mother" figure (coordinator) who kept coming back into the room to check on how things were progressing, but again not for what seemed like our sake... more in a "when can I get out of here?" type thing. She didn't seem the most thrilled with our event for the evening, and that's disappointing when someone is paying for a great experience. So I went back for a third cupcake! ...That'll show em'!
