This pub is located off of 2nd street, so it is very difficult to find parking. The pub has a cool and local vibe. The food was pretty good. They charge $3 to split your entree into two plates. I don't really think that's necessary. The food is good. I ordered the turkey wrap, but I wasn't a fan. My brother ordered the boxty and he loved it. I guess that's what I get for ordering a sandwich wrap at a pub. The service was unbearably slow. There was only one waiter working and it was a Saturday night. There is no free parking around the restaurant, unless you park across the street near the houses. read more

Came here for breakfast, hungover on a Sunday morning. The place was packed, and our waitress was still great, smiling and nice. Food was delicious! George the owner was constantly walking around refilling my BOTTOMLESS mimosa glass and chatting it up. BM comes with purchase of breakfast. Highly recommended! Btw-they have some great mid-week specials. Half off Monday's-everything basically! read more

Been driving by the place for 9 months and always see peeps eating bfast there. Finally made our way out of our "Belmont Shore bubble", all the way to Naples...lol... Boy, was it worth it! George, the owner, enthusiastically greeted us at the door and Brett took over from there... Made you feel at home... There was no harassment about bringing in our coffees from Starbucks,(which we sometimes get..."no outside drinks"). The food was great! The best we have found in LBC, so far! Drinks, bloody Mary's, were amazing. People and atmosphere were a welcoming & friendly change! Somer and I give it 2 thumbs up!! read more

My husband ordered chicken Marsala and I ordered the white fish ..... we both got chicken .... they did take my entree off the bill for their mistake, but also took the rest of the entree.... glad I wasn't starving . We ordered dessert , and it was served with the spoons completely over the chocolate sauce on the plate... you could pick up the spoons and would have your hand coved with the chocolate sauce ..... they took it back and gave us clean spoons. That was our experience. read more

Best corned beef sandwich anywhere. Lean but tender and flavorful and generous portion. Fry's we're great too. Their boxty was pretty good. Worth a try. Only problem is parking. They list parking in rear so it street. At night it's hard to find parking but we went there on a rainy afternoon and parked right in front. It would be smart to relocate to that empty Italian restaurant on PCH and Loynes. They'd have parking and a large place. Something for them to think about. I'll be back for sure. read more

Alright, 2nd review. This time it's for real. If you can name 1 place in LBC with bottomless mimosas 'til 1pm, and a full breakfast for $4 (not to mention a phenomenal full priced breakfast menu), I will gladly change my rating to just 4 stars. But this spot deserves 5 all day long... Great music, great food, eclectic booze selection. 15 rotating taps with true imperial pints. (20 oz.) And a true 3/4 Guinness pour. People get bad impressions of this place because they expect to get before they give. Spend a little time here, and you will find that it is a true pub -- the public house. If you're a guest, admire from afar, and appreciate. If you are a patron then I need not explain more. And if you're a resident, ill see you later tonight. The people who complain about KC's are the same people who would complain if they went to Cheers. Everybody doesn't know their name, because they expect to recieve rather than give. Not everyone gets to be Norm. read more

Phenomenal experience at KC Branaghan's Beachwood Beer Dinner KC Branaghan is starting a new tradition featuring beer pairing with dinner. Hopefully, this will be a monthly tradition. It was great to learn what goes well with beer. Hayabusa Japanese Rice Lager paired with Seared Ahi was my favorite. The food and the beer kept getting better. read more

There was quite a copious amount of drinking and that is the better part of what I remember. I definitely remember ordering fish and chips, but I don't remember too much about them to be honest... Great atmosphere with my dragonboat buddies and owner was great for accomidating us! read more

I was here for an event, but I can tell you that it's a small bar with a lot of charachter and a good wait staff and a cool owner. The one thing that stood out though was they had a phone charging station which I would never guess because the decor in here is old school with lots of throwback beer posters about Guiness and all wood interior. Bring your cell phone cords with you so you can call someone to pick you up and take lots of drunk photos. Cheers to technology! read more

During our never ending tour of Naples haunts, we finally made it out to K.C. Branaghan's for a nice Irish pub brunch. The bottomless mimosas are no joke (the waiter would come by and top me off as soon as I made it half way down the glass), the service good and the general ambiance of the regulars was amicable. I got the scramble with every thing in it and my beau got the Irish eggs Benedict. Both are *highly* recommended. Would definitely go back during bar type hours to try the calamari boat which by the looks of it has to be yum! read more

We live within walking distance and have been regular customers for many years. Things have changed a great deal with the change in ownership. We will not be going back. Based on many recent visits, I'll say the service is the worst we've ever experienced in any restaurant. The prices are high. The food was better in the past. Many other places to choose from. read more

We had delivery from here a few nights ago. Patty Melt - fine. Nothing to write home about. Side salad actually had non-iceberg lettuce in it, and ripe tomatoes, so that was a plus. Corned Beef sandwich - pretty darn bad. Corned beef is usually piled onto a deli sandwich. This sandwich barely had enough meat to cover the bread - there were a few pieces of corned beef smushed between the bread and had migrated over to one half of the sandwich. For an Irish place, I'd definitely expect more out of their corned beef! Hoping to try the bar out in person some day, as we love Irish bars...but stay away from the food. read more

At the bar they "don't take change". The waitress told us they round up. For example the total would be $12.55 and you would have to pay $13 instead of exact change. Why not have a flat rate if you don't want to handle change? They are literally stealing peoples money by doing this. I bring this to everyone's attention so you can be on your toes and because I find what this establishment is doing to be extremely unethical. read more

Great place to get some good food and enjoy good company. Great family business and a price you can afford. A must visit!

I used to come in for my birthday to enjoy their Irish Breakfast but chose to order online for pickup. Walked inside and I would say there was a table or two that were occupied, not very busy for a Saturday morning. There was no staff in sight to greet us or direct us where to go. Stood there for awhile until a waitress appeared and told us we can sit anywhere. I informed her that I was there to pick up an order. She points to a bag sitting on a vacant table and continues doing what she was doing. I didn't expect much but she didn't even ask for my name. After that encounter I don't think I will be coming back for an Irish breakfast. read more

Tried some of the new menu items & they are fabulous. The Caprese Salad is amazing as is the Caprese Sandwich - but oh so filling because of the Ciabatta Bread. If I could give you zero stars Mr George of KC Branaghan's, I would. You may be so friendly to your patrons, but when it comes to taking care of them I'm gonna have to go with....no. My friend visited your establishment last week and was there upon closing. She parked in your parking lot and got towed. This would be fine and dandy if you actually had your fancy little "Tow Away" sign posted with a time to have your car moved, but you didn't, and when I checked on my lunch break today (five days later), you still didn't. She was literally waiting to be okay to drive from having a few drinks, right outside your building. When she was sober to get behind the wheel your towing company had already towed her (mind you, this was maybe 20 minutes past midnight). When she came back the next morning you told her you "might be able to get a partial refund". Really George? If you're going to offer up something like that then there are two things going on, 1. You know you're not posting your sign and have a kick back and 2. You are fully able to give a full refund. I have a tow away zone at my office with ACTUAL times and my tow guys wait one full hour from our phone call to come and tow, see, we give people a chance to move their cars because it's early in the morning when we can start too. And if you're in our office and using our spot, guess what? OMG WE DON'T TOW YOU! Amazing, I know. I have no interest in ever stepping foot through your doors and I will make sure that all of my friends and their friends and those people's friends know how well customers are taken care of at your fine establishment. read more

My roommates and I recently moved in down the street from KC Branaghans which ended up being the answer to oh so many of our problems. The biggest problem being that we didn't have any cups. I know you scoff, but try living in a house with no cups. Life is just a little grayer without those new fangled modern conveniences. Well, we were in a serious pickle until we discovered KC Branaghans Tuesday Pint Nite. Buy a pint, keep the glass! Thanks to this fine establishment, I can now have a glass of water at home WHENEVER I WANT. Our next problem arose because we refused to turn on the heat. Long Beach Gas & Electric won't be taking any more of our money than necessary. Even during these last few weeks of freak storms and temperatures below (god almighty!) 65 degrees, we stood strong. KC Branaghans became our refuge in the storm, literally. The cozy traditional pub atmosphere with its wood paneling, low lighting, and small booths was just what we needed. Being young and naive to the ways of the kitchen, we want a break every so often from the pasta routine. What do you know, Mondays are Half Priced nights! All appetizers and one select entree are half off. This place feeds us in so many ways, am I right? The owner, George, is also extraordinarily welcoming and friendly. I think he was feeling a bit puckish one night we went because he threatened to tell our parents if we were there too often. Oh George. Good one. He also sends out weekly email updates so it's almost like I actually made a friend. I feel like I'll be with KC Branaghans for the long haul. read more

My last two experiences at this "pub" have been really lacking. I want to like KC's, but they make it really difficult. Experience #1: I went to meet a friend there a few weeks ago for some beers and food. I ordered a beer and some fish and chips while waiting for my friend from the bartender. The beer never got there and eventually they delivered the fish and chips. When they brought the plate over, I mentioned that I never got my beer. He asked me if I ordered it from him and I said that I didn't remember who took my order, I just want a beer, ... I noticed a major attitude, but didn't want to make an issue of it. He delivered my beer and asked me if I needed anything else. I did. "Could I have some ketchup." He didn't like my request; the guy made faces at my request (as if I was asking for something unreasonable) and continued with the bad attitude My friend watched the whole thing go down and mentioned how rude the guy was. Experience #2 I wanted to watch the US vs. Panama in the semi-finals of the Gold Cup, what better place to watch it than a football friendly Irish pub, right? Wrong. I arrived 30 minutes before the game to an empty pub and asked the bartender if they would be showing the game. He said they would no problem. As time ticked away towards the game, I asked when he was going to put it on the big screen, he informed that it would only be shown on the small flat screen with no sound. I asked, the bartender why the game would not be put on their large screen... he informed me there was ONE person in the place that wants to see a college baseball game. What kind of "Irish" pub shows college baseball over football? Over several times, including the experiences above, I have noticed an unfriendly and rude attitude from the staff at KC Branaghans. If you are not a regular, then don't expect service or respect from them... I'm done with going here anymore. read more

This is a super fun place to go to. I highly recomend using a gift certificate from restaurant.com if you're going to order food. If you use the certificate you basically get like $20 off of your bill! The food is hearty and delicious. As far as I can tell, the food is pretty authentic. I've tried the bangers and mash as well as the shepards pie and both were fantastic. I pretty much love any food that I can eat with HP sauce. It's also a fun place to drink. On Tuesdays they have "Pint Night" where the selected beer is $1 off of re-fills and you get to take home the glass. On Fridays their website advertizes a "kill the keg" drink special but I've never been. K.C.'s is nicely decorated. It has a real dartboard and overall great atmosphere. The staff are a bunch of white guys with burly beards but they were all super friendly. Oh and I almost forgot, parking sucks! Bottom line: I went home with full belly, some money still left in my wallet, and my very own Guinness glass. read more

Sad to say I'm not a fan of Branaghan's because of their owner, George. Not going to waste my time getting into it, but my family has been to Branaghan's many times, the food is fine and the servers are generally polite. My friend visiting has a penchant for guinness, so he wanted to try this irish pub. As i looked at the menu, i could not get the review from a fellow yelper, out of my head, that the food here tasted like ass... My bf and i settled on ordering some irish pigs in a blanket type dish, and the corn beef boxty. i never knew what a boxty was, but i saw it YELP that it was the thing to try. And it was pretty good! for people like me who never heard of such a thing, it's a potato pancake stuffed with meats. the corn beef one was good, but i was somehow picturing thick sliced corn beef and this one had thin slices. i did try some of my friend's mash potatos and it was really good! fluffy and buttery. Overall the food was pretty decent, a bit on the salty side and the pricey side, but pretty good. The banner outside says NFL sundays and that they show all NFL games. however, inside i see that there are only 3 t.v.s and there are pockets of the place where you can't see any t.v.s at all. Other than that, the service was great. the guy George who runs the place was pretty cool and the waitress was nice. No one gave us flack for wanting to change our seats to an opened up booth to see the t.v.s. Had a nice view of the poster of the Dos Equis guy and my bf and i could keep track of our fantasy teams. :) I hear they also have a kick ass bread pudding and bottomless mimosas! read more

Came here for Sunday brunch after having no luck with the other unlimited mimosa brunches I had Yelped. Our waitress was bitchy, the food was weird and the location was inconvenient. They do have their own lot which beats the manic parking situation expected in Belmont Shores, but I seriously doubt I'd come back here. My friend ordered the American breakfast and liked it well enough, I ordered the corned beef and eggs boxty which was this crepe thing with tons of eggs and a generous portion of under-seasoned corned beef. I guess Irish food is supposed to be sort of bland because Irish people are drunk whenever they eat...and just all the time in general? But this was just awful. The potatoes served with it were unmemorable and under-salted and the best thing on my plate were the 3 pieces of melon crying on the side. We both had the bottomless mimosas which weren't the best deal in town, but the guy who filled them was very good about getting us re-filled without us ever having to ask. The set-up of the place is actually pretty great, very open and airy and the main dining area opens right up into the patio with a good size bar inside. Maybe the lunch/dinner food is better here, but I don't think I'd return either way. read more

New ownership is great. Same great staff with some new friendly faces. Always great food and amazing beer selections.

A REAL Irish pub. The decor, the atmosphere, the food... it all says Irish. Not Irish-American. We were slightly under-whelmed with the choice of beers, but were glad to see that only one tap was for SAB (shitty american beer). I had a Magner's Cider, she had a Stella. Nothing fancy. First we got 4 slices of Irish soda bread, toasted and lightly buttered. It could really be eaten as a dessert it's so sweet and filling. Then the Clams & Mussels arrived, and shortly after the Corned Beef Boxty. The C&M come in a white wine sauce with slices of lemon and a few hunks of bread for soaking up the delightfully yummy sauce. If I could eat this for the rest of my life I would. Cooked just right, and a good serving for the price. The Corned Beef Boxty came with a quarter head of boiled cabbage, and some steamed veggies. The boxty was crusty on the outside and soft inside, and the corned beef was as delicious as one should expect at an Irish pub. The entire staff has either an Irish accent or bright red hair/beard. The 2 smallish TVs were on, but on mute which was nice. Big enough to handle a group, but spacious enough not to feel crowded for a couples' dinner. 3 beers Bread Clams & Mussels Corned Beef Boxty $58 before tip My only complaint about this place (and not really this place but this entire restaurant area) - No bike parking :( read more

We ordered the Branaghans Special Cottage Pie. With a side of Macaroni. We also each had a beer. I had a Half-Half. When I ordered it, the waitress was like "whats that? you mean guiness and harp? That's a black and tan. I'm sorry, I thought this was an authentic Irish Pub, in an authentic Irish Pub, a black and tan is Guinness and Smithwicks, Frankly, she had a shitty attitude about it too, and this was before she took my partners order and then just about ignored me. The cottage pie was actually really tasty, It was like a delicious stew which they turned into a delightful pie , I really liked the pie a whole lot. To be honest before the rest of this encounter happned I was prepared to give them a really good review. The macaroni was ok, it wasn't great, but it was ok. A little dry, not a whole lot of flavour, but ok. We get the bill, when we order the food the beer was supposed to be 5.50 and then the side order of macaroni which we did order with a meal (the pie) was supposed to be 4.00. We got the bill and they had charges us 6.50 for the beer and 7.95 for the macarno. We honestly thought it was just an error and pointed it out to the server, and she had the most shittiest attitude I have seen recently. Then she says she will go back to speak to the manager and comes back with the change on the pie and we were comped a dollar? You're comping us for the fact that you over charged us on our drink? Seriously? I'm pretty sure that putting one price on a menu and then another price on the bill is against state law. I really liked the place, it was really nice in terms of food, ambiance. I think I met the owner (george?) , maybe he was just the manager, but he was really nice. I really liked most things about the restaurant. Except the server, that was absolutely terrible. I would have told George about his terrible server if he wasn't off elsewhere. I don't see any reason I would ever want to go back to that kind of service. read more

Came in here about a week ago and the bartender Brian was absolutely out of his mind drunk. Had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks.
