Beef Bulgogi Bowl, Spicy Chicken Bulgogi Bowl

although there are better places out there, this place is filled with memories for me. late night studying were always fueled by their beef bulgogi bowl - rice and japchae noodles mixed with sweet and savory bulgogi. good enough for two meals and will always take me back! the chicken meat tastes a little strange though *.*

Came here for a late lunch, ordered a beef bulgugi bowl and it came out pretty quick. I loved that there's noodles mixed with rice and an egg inside the bowl - the sauce is delicious and it def enhance the beef. The price is decent for the portion and I think I will return in the future!

Kimbap sounds good to me, often. We always seem to leave our own sriracha bottle behind when we think about eating Kimbap. Small place inside, two 4 top and some counter seats along two sides of the wall. Street paid parking is supposedly available, but nothing was open. There is supposed to be an Air Garage parking a block away, but not seeing an entrance, so not super convenient for grabbing carry out much. By the University of Texas at Austin. My husband's patience is wearing thin as we do loops to find parking and keep running into one ways to get to where we want. Finding street parking but requires UT permit parking, which we clearly don't have at all. Finally found street parking a couple of blocks away. Order and pay at the kiosk. We grabbed 3 tuna Kimbap, added jalapeño and kimchi, original Kimbap and tteokbokki with extra rice cake and dumplings. Order number 92, sent us a text with the receipt. $54.62 Warning the extra spicy was too spicy for me, made eating the Tteokbokki rather painful. Most of the rice cake was overcooked and mushy, except for one piece that was super hard for some reason. The dumplings fell apart on us. The hard boiled eggs were good. The Tteokbokki was just average. The tuna and original Kimbaps are both pretty good, some bites were bigger than others, the ends mostly. The rolls are nicely packed and full. The Kimbaps are a solid 4.

This hole in the wall restaurant has some incredible Korean food! Located on the drag, it is frequented by UT students. I can see why business is booming during peak hours because the food is absolutely phenomenal. It's a small little restaurant but very well kept and clean. The owner was there and he is a nice guy. Quick and quality service all around. I enjoyed the kimbap and Dduk boki. The Dduk boki had just the right spicy kick to it and had eggs and fish cakes in it. If you're in the mood for some great Korean food, this is the place to visit. I can't wait to try more of the yummy dishes on the menu.

This really hit the spot for me! I don't often get Korean food and if I do, it's usually just KBBQ or a bulgogi bowl. But I love a good kimbap and it's rare to find a shop that sells it near home. When visiting Austin, for some reason I was craving Korean food. They are located along a row full of Asian food spots. Kiosk for easy ordering. Great service. I wished I ordered ordered more food but this was filling enough for dinner.

This was a great place to eat before an event downtown. Fast service and yummy food! We will check it out again when we are back in Austin.

Not bad Not bad. I was really craving some tteokbokki and if you don't know, they're basically thick fat noodles (rice cakes) that are simmered in a thick spicy and kind of sweet sauce, effing delicious. With some of that cheese on top, chefs kiss. If you can get those added extras, with fish cakes, noodles, etc. even better. The dishes here aren't too pricey but they do give you pretty nice size portions. Meat was good, rice, egg. No complaints, I'd probably come back here again if I'm ever in the area! This shop is small, but there are a couple of tables inside. The hardest part of this journey would probably be the parking, especially if it was on a busy day. There are paid parking slots and a garage available, it isn't too bad.

A really simple Korean restaurant on UT campus. There's street parking. The food menu is small and affordable. I tried their Kimbop, fried dumpling, and dduk boki. I dip my fried dumplings into the dduk boki. All of them were good!

No bathrooms (that i saw, but I grabbed something to go so I'm not positive). No parking. It's off the street so street parking or parking at the dominos or co-op parking a few blocks up the street. This is not a gluten free facility. I had the lunch plate with rice, egg, kimchi, and spicy chicken. There was a couple of pot stickers but I didn't eat them, but they looked great! I also got some boba and milk tea. Friendly service and quick too! Very good food and spicy chicken was mild spice for my spice loving people!

Ever since Fall 2018, I've been a huge fan of this place! I order my usual milk tea and beef bulgogi bowl and it's always been so yummy. The owner is super sweet and cares about his customers. Ambiance is very happy and although it's small, it's v nice and intimate for convos and good lunches or dinners.

We ordered the ox knee bone soup. The soup was great and had lots of meat in it! I was surprised by how many different side dishes it came with because usually food court meals come with bare minimum. I would highly recommend this place - the location is kind of hidden in comparison to the other stalls with bright signs so I can see why people end up eating the other places tha this spot.

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

It is a quaint little place, not too big of a space so luckily they did not have a wait when we went. I give it a five star review because of the sushi. The food for me was good, not the best like not great, but it does satisfy the Korean food craving. Presentation of dishes was so nice and fun, the sushi was on fire literally. They start you off with banchan-kimchi, macaroni, onions, and fish cake. It's standard, nothing outstanding, but they do give free refills! 1. Taimatsu Roll - My favorite dish we ordered. It's saucy and has a nice play on textures because of the crispy fried bits on top. It is stuffed with a sizeable piece of tuna and has a sweet mayo sauce. It is definitely more fusion leaning rather than traditional. 2. Dak-Galbi - A spicy chicken dish with sweet potato matchstick slices and rice cakes. There could be more rice cakes and flavor. It was not spicy at all, more of that sweet savory taste you get from gochujang based dishes. The chicken was super tender and there was a good amount! 3. Beef Rib Stew - This was a warming stew with glass noodles, it is a basic soup that is salty and peppery (some may think it's bland). It comes with a bone in beef rib that is fall off the bone tender! Overall, while the food wasn't the most outstanding, I would definitely come back to try other items (namely the sushi). I would also love to try the inari tofu pockets I see online (not sure if they still have that though since I don't think I saw that on the menu). Also, their other fusion leaning dishes like the carbonara tteokbokki sounds interesting.
