I usually go for regular polish, paint, and glitter, LOL! However, I've found that 80% of the time, the reviews and prices are either false, misleading or even generated by AI. Many of these salons are disrespectful and unprofessional, assuming I will return to complain or demand a refund the next day, especially for just regular polish. It's frustrating! This has never been an issue; I haven't once discussed or felt the need to discuss anything like that with Linda! I haven't seen her in almost four years and have visited about 50 technicians since then, all because I need immediate service and no longer live in the area. Despite that, I've only written maybe eight reviews in my entire life, and Linda is, without a doubt, the best nail and eyelash artist I've ever encountered. My nails ended up looking decent but it is unacceptable to cut your clients skin so bad they are bleeding on multiple fingers! I paid $50 for a gel manicure. No acrylics or anything fancy. She explained the difference between Gel X and builder gel, and we confirmed that I indeed had Gel X. My original nail tech asked about the color I wanted and seemed excited to match a similar shade. But once she realized I had Gel X, she told me there was no way to do a fill-in and that the entire set would have to be removed and redone. She explained her reasoning, which I understood. I agreed in theory, but I let her know I was on a time crunch and had to leave within an hour. If I had more time, I would've been open to removing the set and starting over. Unfortunately, she kept repeating that she wasn't doing it and became visibly frustrated: huffing and puffing and making the situation bigger than it needed to be. It was uncalled for because she kinda mean! She made a situation that was small into something HUGE! Thankfully, Anna and Aaron (the owner/manager) stepped in. Aaron demonstrated how the fill-in could be done while Anna and the other tech watched. Anna then took over and completed my nails, and they looked amazing. I'm really grateful to Anna and Aaron for actually listening to what I was asking for and working with me instead of immediately dismissing my request. Their professionalism made all the difference.
