    What i received...

Unfortunately, I wont be back the customer service is steadily declining... I wasn't asked what pedicure I wanted! I also wanted SNS and was told after the pedicure that it wasnt available - no apologies or care in the world that was time was wasted! Let me show you the pic of what i asked for versus what i received! Mind you never once was i shown or asked if i liked it or should something change...

First off I've been coming here since 2017. Their client-base has surely declined because of the way they blatantly lied to you. First off the lady who did my pedicure did a horrible job. I came in with nails longer than usual (it has been a little while since I had a pedicure). She cut my nails so short now my French tips look short and slanted. (See pic 1 for reference) she was unable to fix it because of how short she cut them. Even though that happened I still decided to get acrylic gel Mani. I showed Alex the design (see pic 2) and asked how much it would be he said $70. He looked a bit stressed, he got a FaceTime call and showed the person the design. As I could tell he was stressed I asked him again if he can actually do it, he said "it not perfect but I can do for you". That's que for "Idk WTF I'm doing but money." I told him we could try another design (see pic 3) he said OK and started doing my nails. When he started on the design it looked horrible. I told him that's not how it looks on the picture at all. He claimed that it was the length of my nails. Mind you I never told him how long I wanted my nails. He chose how long my nails were to be yet he wasn't able to do the design based off the length? I told him that in order for him to do the design he needed to use the dotting tool, I asked him if he had dotting tools and he said no. He wanted to blame the length of my nails instead of himself for being under prepared. Why be a nail tech if you don't have the equipment?? He redid the design three times and each time came out worse than the last. No dotting tools just using the nail polish brush. The only brush he has extra is to clean the side of your nails for excess polish on the skin. I told him if it was too hard I could choose another design he said OK, I pulled up (pic 4) And he said he can do it. The other lady I finished with another client and he was so stressed he told her to do the cow design. He walked outside and he was just so stressed. The lady proceeded to start doing the design but it did not look like cow print. She was literally making squares. She kept trying and I kept telling her that's not how it looks on the picture. Then I asked her do you guys do lines? She said "yes lines! Yes lines!" I pulled up (pic 5) and when he saw that I had changed the design he came back in and told her he would do it. He started doing the design and was giving very hard thick lines. I told him that the picture had thin lines. In total this process took nearly 3 hours. All because they are under equipped and lied. They could have simply said we cannot do that design and I would have waited for the nail designer they claim to have come in M-W-F. See pic 6 for reference on how horrible the design still looks. I doubt I'll ever come back again.

Hilton Nails & Spa is an Asian-American owned nail salon. The staff of Hilton Nails & Spa are all male. My friend and I were immediately greeted upon entering the nail salon. We were walk-ins, and this was our first visit based on a recommendation from a young lady that we met earlier in the day. My friend requested fill in service for her nails. The customer service provided by the Hilton Nails & Spa was excellent. My friend and I were invited to a pedicure for our next visit. We are looking to visiting Hilton Nails & Spa in the near future.

    Reasonable pricing for gels!

Great service, a bit on the pricey side. We did a mother daughter day in preparation for a party. Matching manicure and pedicure was about an hour and a half of relaxing pampering. We'll be back for some of the other treatments!

I've been struggling to locate a phenomenal technician that's knowledgeable, detail oriented, isn't too rough on my nails and of course convenience is key. After reading countless reviews and visiting quite a few 'bottom of the barrel' spots, I stumbled across this amazing place right in the heart of Laurel. When making my appointment, the receptionist was very careful to collect all of my information to pass along to my tech Jane. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately and introduced to Jane. The salon is so very well kept; soft music playing, smells of aromatherapy in the air and just a warm feeling of relaxation. Jane made it a point to take her time with me and ensured that each step was administered properly. Her shaping is quite impressive and her personality is out of this world!! She truly is a sweetheart!!! I will most definitely be returning every 2-3 weeks for a standing appointment with my new love Jane!!!!!

This is my toe that I left a chunk of at Hilton's.

Went here on Friday the 13th and boy did I get a Friday the 13th treatment. I have been here many times before, it's my neighborhood nail salon. Never again will I go here. The technician took a chunk of my toe and kept it. I told her when I was soaking that I was going to a wedding and was looking forward to dancing with my husband, I danced with my husband at the wedding but was in shear pain the entire time I was on my feet. If I could give this a zero I would. Ladies do yourself a favor and stay far away from this spot, they used to used a new set of tools each time too, I didn't see my tech open a new pack, I also didn't see her license. I will be calling DLLR on Monday.

Gel bubbling up in corners after 2 days on natural nails that haven't been painted in 3 years

I went here Friday June 7th for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was pleased with my overall experience but noticed they skipped one important part. After filing and cleaning up my cuticles on both my hands and feet they did not clean my nails with any kind of acetone or alcohol to get the natural oils off before they started applying the gel. I hoped it would be ok and didn't say anything but it's not. Today is Sunday June 9th and my nails are already bubbling up in several places like it's about to start chipping. I am on maternity leave from work so it's not like I've been using my hands for anything. I was hoping to get at least 2 weeks if not more out of this manicure and it's gonna be completely trash within the next few days. Experience was nice but quality of work is rather a waste of money. Pretty disappointed and probably won't be coming back. It's now Wednesday the 12th almost every nail is peeling up and chipping nail. Some gel manicure. Will never come back here or recommend this place. Only gave 2 stars because my pedicure seems fine. But I do feel like I wasted $75

I was looking for a nail salon closer to me than where I usually go. I found this and saw a lot of good reviews for Jane. So I decided to call and try. I will definitely be back. She actually cares about the health of your nails and makes sure you're ok throughout the whole process. This is huge coming from me because I am very picky and particular about my nails and who does them. Sweet Jane just received a new customer.

This finger is swollen after being knicked twice with the cuticle removal tool. Bad cuticle job.

I began frequenting this salon 3 years ago when I first moved to Laurel. I decided to try it out after the great reviews on yelp. I loved the salon and core personnel (Kelly, Woody, and Jackie). Over the years additional members would be added to the staff but wouldn't remain. Unfortunately, none of the newer staff members work ever compared to the core personnel. I visited the salon today after a 5-6 week hiatus. I'm a new mom so my priorities have changed. Against my better judgement I agreed to allow a technician I've never seen before complete my pedi and mani. I've done this is the past and although the work wasn't the best I never left the salon feeling as I felt today. My pedi is sufficient however my manicure is horrible. The photos I will attach are after the technician, "filed my nails and cleaned my cuticles." I cannot blame him for the work he completed rather management for allowing employees that do not have sufficient experience to work on clients. I say this because as I sat through my pedicure another client was having her toe nails reshaped and re-polished by one of the core personnel. The technician used ointment to try to stop my finger from bleeding before I washed my hands however it did not work. I was extremely upset that this occurred especially during my birthday week. I told the technician that I did not want polish on my nails and that I was ready to pay. I was initially quoted $37 after I explained to the owner my dislike and after a discussion between the owners and technician took place I left having paid $27. I also gave the technician a $5 tip. I am completely unhappy but I know tips are important in certain fields. There was no apology or offer to fix my nails. A completely disheartening experience and treatment after having frequented this salon for years and having thought that the core personnel and I had a good relationship.

I'm so glad I used Yelp to find this shop. I'm very picky about my pedicure and nails so I was looking for a new shop since wasn't happy with my old one. From the time I walked in, I was sold. The guy was nice, patient and sold me additional services but wasn't pushy about it. If I said no, he left it alone. Tina did my feet, AMAZING. The best one I've had and I get this once a week. My gel refill is also amazing. Perfectly polished. Great job! I'll be back in a week. Side note, watch the parking. I got a 100 ticket outside of the shop.

OPI It's a boy! for summer. Love this color! Kim did an amazing job on my regular mani Def request her.

Just came back here for a regular mani and upgraded pedi. Kim did an amazing job, great attention to detail. Some of my toe nails had yellowing due to keeping on a dark polish on for too long and she Cleaned it right up by buffing and using the smoothing tool lightly. Toes look brand spankin new and ready for the fall cold weather. Also love my mani, color is OPI Lincoln Park at Midnight. I love their pricing for regular manis, $12 is so affordable!

    Front of the shop

Affordable if you stick to your original choice and don't add extras. The deluxe pedicure, which I got, includes a leg and foot exfoliation scrub, a foot scrub (with a legit cheese grater-looking device to grate off your dead skin), lotion, hot towel, and about ten minutes of massage. Quaint place that doesn't look like much from the street. Parking is plentiful, right outside. Small shop with about 5-6 pedicure stations and 4 manicure stations. Moved people surprisingly quick without rushing them. The manicurist took his time on my nails and did three coats of polish. I'll do an update of this review after a week or so to see how they held up. The thing I'd change is that the manicurist and pedicurist were rough with the nail file. They kept filing my skin below my nails and it hurt a lot. That, and both kept running their sharp nails in between my nail and underneath it (assuming to get any stray polish flecks). This was super uncomfortable and seems to be just how they do it there. They seem clean, I witnessed the scrubbing of the pedicure tubs twice after clients left and also the manicurist used alcohol to sanitize the tools. I would prefer to know they were sanitized in a machine, but it was nice to see that they were clean in front of me.

Their branding is also very polished; you'll notice it everywhere, even on the technicians' aprons. When I signed in, I told the receptionist I just needed a fill-in and that I thought I had Gel X. She explained the difference between Gel X and builder gel, and we confirmed that I indeed had Gel X. My original nail tech asked about the color I wanted and seemed excited to match a similar shade. But once she realized I had Gel X, she told me there was no way to do a fill-in and that the entire set would have to be removed and redone. She explained her reasoning, which I understood. I agreed in theory, but I let her know I was on a time crunch and had to leave within an hour. If I had more time, I would've been open to removing the set and starting over. Unfortunately, she kept repeating that she wasn't doing it and became visibly frustrated: huffing and puffing and making the situation bigger than it needed to be. It was uncalled for because she kinda mean! She made a situation that was small into something HUGE! Thankfully, Anna and Aaron (the owner/manager) stepped in. Aaron demonstrated how the fill-in could be done while Anna and the other tech watched. Anna then took over and completed my nails, and they looked amazing. I'm really grateful to Anna and Aaron for actually listening to what I was asking for and working with me instead of immediately dismissing my request. Their professionalism made all the difference.
