I wanted to schedule my first appointment since the pandemic hit and found out that all my credits (Juvly money) expired in 2020 and they are unable to honor or extend them though we are in a pandemic. I had them cancel on me the same day as my appointment and I have also had LONG waiting times (up to an hour wait prior to pandemic). I was a member with Juvly for over a year stating in 2018. I've had really great experiences here and have referred many people. That said, my experience with them in the past year has completely changed my opinion. I prepurchased a pack of 6 micro needling treatments. It was very challenging to schedule these appointments (no openings) and twice had my treatment cancelled due to Juvly's staffing difficulties. At the beginning of the pandemic I had one treatment left in my wallet. I was unable to come in and use it. That treatment 'expired' in the middle of the pandemic - April 2020. Juvly will not honor that treatment, give a refund or even exchange for a different service. Essentially 'too bad, so sad.' There are plenty of med spas in Columbus. Avoid this one. read more

I arrived in Columbus to visit an old college friend. After a long day and red eye flight, my face and skin was depleted, eye bags heavy, and spirits worn. My friend lived in the downtown area just off of Gay Street, and we walked by Juvly that afternoon on our way to the Cosi Museum. My face was screaming for attention, so we stopped by to see what Dr. Harper's offerings were. The People I was greeted by the most pleasant and professional staff, Kassie and Julie. They were both very informative and did not try to impale products onto me, as aestheticians sometimes do. As a result, I felt valued and didn't feel bullied into having unnecessary services. In fact, Mr. Harper was very direct about services that he thought were useless for my skin type. His kids were in the office at the time and I had the opportunity to meet them. They were the most well behaved and adorable children, which speaks to Dr. Harper's values and sensibilities. The Service After my consultation, I decided to get a chemical peel, wax, and eye brow tint, which were performed by Kassie. She was the best, very patient and gentle on me. With it being my first time, I did not know what to expect. She made the perfect suggestion for color based on my hair color and skin tone. I was very pleased with the outcome and will continue to do this moving forward. The eye brow / lash tint took about 5 minutes and will last you about 2-3 weeks. The results far exceeded my expectations and Kassie did a better job that I could have ever done drawing them in every morning. Before performing my chemical peel, she explained the whole procedure, cautioned me about potential side effects, and provided me options before applying. After such a pleasant experience, I decided to try dysport and voluma for the first time for my wrinkles. I had always been curious about the product and felt so comfortable after my chemical peel that I decided to procedure with this liberating experience. Dr. Harper gave me examples of results based on the results of others and made a sensible suggestion, which I went with. After only 1 day I was able to see results. I felt like the same person but with more confidence and skin livened by the whole experience. Dr. Harper is the Picasso of the liquid facelift and I recommend him to the highest regard. Unfortunately my much-loved go-to injector is moving so I took a recommendation to see Michelle for undereye fillers. She was 100% transparent and walked me through expectations (they are not like lip injections where there is not immediate "wow" factor.) She was very patient and thorough and made it as painless as possible. I have 0 lumps or bumps and I honestly think it looks amazing - and it hasn't even been the full two weeks required for the HA filler to bind. I just love this practice! As soon as I walked in I liked the place. As an esthetician and a small business owner, first impression is everything. I was greeted by two smiling faces and a cheerful "happy birthday" (what better present for myself?). They even gave me some great samples as a present, which was so kind. The service room was clean and tidy, and they even had a price list on the wall. Stacy (I hope that's her name!) was great at describing the service and making sure I was comfortable. I got botox in between my eyebrows and she did an amazing job! Looking at my skin now, two weeks later, you would never have guessed I had 11s on my forehead. The only downside for me is that it's metered parking with a 30 minute max. In my opinion, if you park at a meter, the receptionist should offer to fill it for you. After recommendations from several friends, I acted on my piqued interest to book services at Juvly. I scheduled Botox with Michelle and was slightly nervous as I had frequented a well respected local plastic surgeon for several years for the service. Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted and offered coffee+macarons while I waited briefly before being placed in a room. Michelle immediately put my nerves at ease as I explained my previous concerns+issues with Botox in the past. We discussed a plan tailored to best achieve the results I was after--something my previous provider was unwilling to administer as he always errs on the extremely conservative side. Michelle listened attentively and provided her recommendations on what was necessary without being overly aggressive or outside of my price point. She followed up via email a few weeks later to ensure I was pleased with my services. I recently received additional services from Michelle and am more pleased than I was with my initial visit. After thorough discussion, I decided on cheek filler+chin filler to enhance the shape and contour of my face. I was incredibly nervous as adding "filler" to my face seemed counterintuitive to what I was trying to achieve. Deciding to trust Michelle ended with results far beyond what I could have expected. The difference of before and after photos was remarkable. I never considered previously that a little filler could go such a long way to really create a more feminine, youthful profile. Michelle also treated two referrals during my visit; one of whom is terribly afraid of needles. Extremely rude and CONDESCENDING Staff. I was a client 3x visits, but I won't ever return to this place. I received an email invitation of a special sale for microdermabrasion, for $9,99 + invite 1 friend. IN NOWHERE in the invitation stating that service has to be booked before 10/8/16. The wording was: "For appointments completed before 10/8/16 with our Master Aestheticians Leslie or Karen at our Columbus office. Not valid on Fridays. First come first served. Appointment availability not guaranteed. Must be booked online using the buttons in this email. Questions? Call (614) 686-3627". It only stated that FOR APPTS COMPLETED BEFORE 10/8/16......by no means it meant SERVICE MUST BE BOOKED BEFORE 10/8/16. I received this email on 9/21, I called on 9/22, there's no slot available until after 10/10 (in fact there seems only Mon & Thurs) and on 9/30 which if Fri. 2nd, I spoke with a very rude front desk person, and I asked her tp transfer me to a manager. A female whom supposedly a manager, named CHANCEY, even worse, no wonder the staff was rude. She kept talking over me, I couldn't speak beyond 3 words per sentence. AND BEFORE I FINISH, SHE SLAMMED THE PHONE ON ME. DOCTOR HARPER, IS THIS HOW YOU TRAIN YOUR STAFF? I called again, and spoke with Sam, who claimed he's a business dev, he's less rude but nevertheless, insisted and kept saying that I was wrong and there were expiration date (which there weren't). And also kept talking over me. I concluded that the staff didn't know how to deliver service, a bunch of rude people, a know it all, couldn't listen and condescending. I will never go to this place again, I'll also warn my friends about the business and staff. Update 9/24/16, Sam/the Business Developer, called and apologized for what happened. I REALLY APPRECIATE the well meant gesture and he even offered to fill the treatment as promised (by email). But I refused. No notice was given to me or I would not have bothered coming in. Also, Diana in the office is THE rudest person I have ever encountered. She is in DESPERATE need of customer service training. Why does my review get deleted YELP? Never have had that happen before. This is a true concern people should be aware of I have had juvederm for my lips before but at a legit columbus based plastic surgeon office twice before I went to Juvly. Each other time my lips were very full with only one syringe. Once swelling went down with no issue of unevenness. I always loved the end results. So I figured I would give Juvly a try with the great reviews they seemed to have. Mind you I have full lips to begin with just in my mid 30's and looking for plumper. I scheduled for juvederm, with Liz since she seemed to be the one raved about in their reviews. In August I paid for 1 syringe of juvederm, this is the ONLY office I have been to where they do not actually fill the syringe with the product in front of you. A huge no no from what I've been told by several now. Within a week my lips looked the same size as my regular lips with the exception of some unevenness on the bottom left side. Yes, I was very concerned I looked like a wack job. When I emailed Juvly, the one response I received from sara, another injector, " well they looked even in the picture after the injection". Duh of course they did, Liz literally stuck the needle in my lips atleast 30-40 times, so yes my lips were swollen and prob looked even within minutes of them being stabbed over and over. I really dont ever recall that many in prior procedures but ok. So within 3 weeks I scheduled another appointment in October and paid for another syringe of juvederm- To even out the bottom and put more ump in my lips. At first I was nervous with how big they would be but excited since thats what I was looking for. Again, they did not fill syringe in room. This time I question it, Liz stated it was their procedure for health precautions. Even tho I would be using the entire amount they were opening that I paid for, Um ok. Well 2 weeks later very clear my lips are only a tad bit bigger and now my top lip is very uneven. I look like the cat woman. Not happy I have now spent $1000 for mediocre uneven lips, so I call and they tell me I must wait 30 days for them to fix them. So 30 days I walk around with uneven lips embarrassed to have anyone look at me. 30 days I schedule follow up with Liz. She agrees they are uneven and offers to fill the uneven part with more juvederm, this is on a Thursday, I had family pics (yes with uneven lips) in Chicago that weekend so I request we wait until following week when I return and she said sure that wouldn't be a problem. On my way out, I schedule with the front desk and informed Liz will be out of town, none of my business but why didn't she tell me herself she would not be available herself to fix the job she had messed up? So I schedule with sara the following week. Mind you I had to email them several pics before they even believed me they were uneven just for this follow up. So I come in the following week, meet with sara, she states its not that bad and we agree to fix areas. I thought she went to get the syringe of juvederm but instead came back to tell me I should have another product injected instead because my lips are having a reaction to the juvederm- ok weird they never did the other 2 times I have had this done somewhere else. So whatever just even my lips up so I no longer look like a weirdo. This product would actually eliminate some of the juvederm- at this point I am upset I mean why did I spend $1000 for big luscious lips to just take it away. Just do and let me out of here. So here we are a month later, my lips are maybe a little bigger than what they are naturally and still uneven. Do yourself a favor AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! Groupons and specials are not worth any of it. Do not trust a plastic surgeon's office that does not fill the syringes in front of you PERIOD! Not worth it no matter the price. Today was my 90 Coolsculpting follow-up, and I have to say, I'll definitely be coming back. I'm not a regular "derma spa" client, but I think that I've found the location that I'd be 100% comfortable visiting on a regular basis. One of the main reasons: the staff. Any question or concern I've ever had (or have), they answer--and in terms that I am able to understand. They don't give false expectations for results, they are honest and transparent and I really appreciate that. It's hard to find a place that doesn't give you the run-around and the "advertising taglines" for all the new products. They don't push anything on me and I feel that any decision I make is fully _my decision_ and I'm as informed as I can be. The front desk girl (I'm sorry I don't remember your name) is just a doll and she was able to answer all the questions I had as well. I really appreciate when the people making schedules are as informed as the technicians. I think it's super important to have as many knowledgeable employees as possible. During my first-ever Coolsculpting appointment, Matt made sure that I was as comfortable as I could be--he gave me a pillow and a blanket, he checked in on me a few times to make sure I was alright... just everything he did was what I'd expect out of a professional--but one who genuinely cares about his clients as if they are his best friends. His attention to detail is what really made me feel special. He wasn't rushing the application process or having me feel like I was just another "time slot" for the day. I didn't feel rushed either. It was a very pleasant experience (minus the stinging of the Coolsculpting machine, but you'll have that anyway). And, what made me feel even more special is that at the end of the procedure, I felt as if I was going to pass out. This was mainly due to the 2-minute "massage" to push any of the nearly-dead fat cells over the edge--that was the most painful part of the entire Coolsculpting experience. To make sure I was alright, the front desk girl (once again, I'm sorry I don't remember your name) came in to sit with me while I ate some "emergency" candy to try and get my blood sugar back up. She didn't seem inconvenienced in the least--she was more than happy to make sure I could safely stand up and that I felt 100% good to go. After seeing how well they take care of clients (I even had a brief conversation with the manager), I decided that signing up for the membership was a good route to take. Now that I'm 31 (eek!) years old, I guess regular maintenance isn't a bad idea? I hope that this $99/month fee pays off like I hope it will, but only time will tell. I'm not the best at pricing what services I think I'd be interested in within the next year, especially since the prices are per unit and I never know how many units a particular service will take (that's what the consultations are for). I have been coming here for years, no issues. I had Sculptra done in my temples @ 6 months ago. But they way it was their idea, not mine. It ruined the contours of my face. It's now totally different, very unhappy. I went in for a follow up they said to keep waiting, like it was magically going to fix itself. The follow up was @ 5 months in. I went to Juvly last month and saw Lauren. It was my first time there for microneedling and she put me right at ease. The two people at the front desk were friendly and the place is clean and cozy. I had the BEST experience! I am a med spa junkie and love pluming my lips. From Miami to Austin and now Ohio, I can honestly say this was the best lip filler I have ever had. I explained what I wanted, then waited for what normally happens (them saying they can't make them that shape or size, lets take a more natural approach.) He didn't shy away from what I was requesting. He understood and delivered the shape and volume I wanted and charged a great price! They asked if he could explain to one of his associates his technique while he filled my lips. Of course I said yes! Peer training creates consistency amongst the practice. My view is if he's every not available I love knowing I'm ok in someone else's hands because he personally trained them on his fabulous technique. I've been to high-end dermatologists' offices in San Francisco and Tokyo. I don't want to compromise on quality when it comes to this stuff. When I was in Columbus, I asked my friend her secret to looking so fabulous lately (I hope without implying that she used to look worse) and it turns out she's been going to Dr. Harper at Juvly. I wasn't sure if I was ready for fillers but I did want to be informed about fillers and I know I could take better care of my skin so I went! There was no charge for the consultation (my other doctor charges his regular visit fee just to ask some questions) and among other things I got great skincare tips and product recommendations for my skin type and goals. We also went over all of the products I've been using and any ingredients in each that may be problematic. This guy is awesome. As an added bonus, I complained about how dry my scalp is, and he explained a few things about allergen ingredients to watch out for. Already I have major relief thanks to his guidelines and a better understanding of how to figure out which product causes the trouble and how long to test for irritation with new products. read more

Since my first appointment, I have had my forehead and 11s done with Dysport. On the second appt, we did a touch up of my forehead and then added my 11s since that was the first time I had any injectables so I didn't want to get too much and this gave me the exact appearance I was hoping for. Jessye really takes her time to understand your desired look and helps you to achieve it. I have also since gotten the Dysport for Hyperhidrosis.. excessive sweating. They do the starch iodine test and then inject on each side, concentrating more in certain areas if determined by that test. Same goes for this Dysport treatment.. they'll give you a touch up if the sweating still seems to be excessive in an area. Was much quicker and much less painful than I thought and I was back to normal activities immediately with no soreness or bruising. Honestly can't say enough good things about Juvly.
