She shared a wealth of knowledge about health, wellness and the importance of ensuring the health (and maintenance) of our colon/stomach. I had EVERY intention of going back regularly, but life got in the way. However, now that things are settling down again - I'm all in.

Unfortunately, I found out later that she went to a different person for her session. The consultation for the session started out good. Debi Boyle explained all of the importance of good nutrition and the benefits of colon hydrotherapy. After this it was all downhill. I will break down this dreadful experience in terms of sanitation, privacy, discomfort and tact. Sanitation: There was no cover on the bed; I had to lay down on the fake leather material that everyone else had been on expelling waste on throughout the day. The tube that is used during the hydrotherapy session did not look to be entirely disposable. I was offered no explanation as to the sanitation of the tube, so I am left to believe that it is wiped off (or not) and reused. Whether this is true or not, I cannot confirm, but what I can confirm is that there was no information provided regarding the sanitary practices of this procedure. The wet wipes placed in the room for after the session were in a plastic container that looked to be dirty. I can only imagine the number of bacteria crawling on the container. Privacy: Debi Boyle returned to the room during my session no less than 3 times. Each time she would tell me something different about the hydrotherapy whilst I was undergoing something that should have been a very private experience. The muscles in my colon were twisting and contracting while she took her time to explain something that I was absolutely not listening to. She handed me a large vibrator to "massage my colon" during one of her visits to the room. Debi took her time to show me how to speed up and slow down the vibrator and proceeded to explain the benefits of massaging the colon during the hydrotherapy session. Meanwhile, water was backing up in my system and causing me extreme discomfort. I was not given the option for her to not enter the room during the session. Discomfort: I was told that there should be no pain during the colon hydrotherapy. Perhaps others go through this experience without discomfort, but to explain that there will be no pain during an experience such as this was an absolute misrepresentation of the procedure. If cramping like you are having spastic, parasitic diarrhea is not discomfort, then I don't know what is. Every 30 seconds or less, your colon is contracting and going through spasms that feel far from pleasant. Couple that with Debi returning to the room multiple times, making it near impossible to relax, and you have a nightmare of an experience for 45 plus minutes. Tact: Debi Boyle was polite prior to the session. Throughout her visits in the room, she maintained a chipper, polite attitude as if I were in there getting a massage and should be enjoying the entire experience. After the session, Debi sat down with me and tried to push me into buying more sessions. When I politely declined, saying that I would like to see how I feel in the days after the session, she changed her demeanor. She then informed me that I would feel no difference at all after the session (which made me question what happened to the benefits she had explained when I first arrived and why one would ever do such a thing without receiving benefits). She attempted to belittle me for not wanted to return and guilt me into purchasing one of the packages offered. I again, politely declined. She went on to attempt to sell me some type of pill that would cleanse my body of toxins. I also declined. Her polite demeanor totally disappeared and I was sent on my way. Needless to say, I will never return to this place and I would suggest that others avoid it as well. A colon hydrotherapy session may not always be a bad experience, but if you book one with Debi Boyle, you are sure to have one of the worst experiences of your life, with her checking in frequently to see to it that it is indeed as uncomfortable as possible.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and is so upbeat. If you are considering laser hair removal please ask for Erin at Jiva Med Spa.. you won't regret it! Backstory: I have been battling unsightly facial hair as a female for 8 or so years now thanks to PCOS. With the price of the Groupon being so affordable, I figured I had nothing to lose considering the amount of money I've spent on waxing over the years. I have had a *wonderful* experience at Jiva Med Spa! From the front desk staff, to the initial consultation, to the appointments ALL staff has been AMAZING! I will continue to recommend this facility to any of my friends who are considering laser hair removal.

That kind of delay, with zero communication, is completely unacceptable. After the first treatment, there was no follow-up whatsoever. It's clear this business does not prioritize its customers once they've paid. It only gets worse. My second treatment was scheduled for March 26, and again, no one bothered to inform me of any issues. I had to call myself to confirm, only to find out that Tisha had resigned and my appointment couldn't happen. No call, no email, no effort to notify me. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the clinic, and not once has anyone returned my calls. Instead of fixing the problem or honoring the service I already paid for, staff keep trying to upsell me on other services. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I paid in full for laser treatments--not for excuses or sales pitches. This is extremely poor management and unacceptable customer service. If you cannot deliver the services you advertise and take full payment for, you should not be operating this way. Management needs to take accountability immediately. It literally feels like you have to beg them to provide the service you already paid for. Seriously!

I've gotten massage here years ago and it was just ok because the temperature in this place is pretty cold so it wasn't as relaxing as I wanted. Kristin, the Hydrotherapist is always super nice, professional, personable and informative. I've been going to her on and off for about 4-5 years and I love it. She loves what she does and see educates you beyond the basics of the hydrotherapy process. She uses an open system which means totally natural flow. She provides a magnesium spray that is followed by a direct heater to the stomach area. That promotes a better cleanse. Also a massager to help loosen bowl in intestine area. I absolutely love this process and she totally make you comfortable. She educated me on diet and etc even for my family. I've definitely recommended her to several friends and family.

Brigitta was awesome in explaining things as we went (I've only done acupuncture 1 other time), very knowledgeable about her field and personable to boot. I was impressed with the technology that they use for the evaluation and all her numbers came back pretty close to how I feel. She was thorough during the acupuncture process and I did feel very relaxed during the process. For the cupping, well, I wish I'd researched it before I went in. Not to say it was bad, just unexpected! She does fire cupping but thankfully I felt like I was in good hands and could trust her. The "massage" was pretty comfortable feeling - similar to a deep tissue massage! She did warn me that I would have marks (I bruise easily) but I wasn't quite prepared for how my back looked that evening. But I did feel that it helped "melt" away some of my tension in my upper back so that's a good thing. Their office space was inviting, clean and soothing. It's not the most convenient of locations for me and the prices are a little higher than I can justify at the moment for something that was recommended for me to get done every week (I have migraines), however they do offer discounts if you purchase multiple at once, so it's at least an attempt to make it affordable!
