She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and is so upbeat. If you are considering laser hair removal please ask for Erin at Jiva Med Spa.. you won't regret it! Backstory: I have been battling unsightly facial hair as a female for 8 or so years now thanks to PCOS. With the price of the Groupon being so affordable, I figured I had nothing to lose considering the amount of money I've spent on waxing over the years. I have had a *wonderful* experience at Jiva Med Spa! From the front desk staff, to the initial consultation, to the appointments ALL staff has been AMAZING! I will continue to recommend this facility to any of my friends who are considering laser hair removal.

I purchased a laser treatment package in December 2025 and had to wait until late February for my…read morefirst session without any prior notice. That kind of delay, with zero communication, is completely unacceptable. After the first treatment, there was no follow-up whatsoever. It's clear this business does not prioritize its customers once they've paid. It only gets worse. My second treatment was scheduled for March 26, and again, no one bothered to inform me of any issues. I had to call myself to confirm, only to find out that Tisha had resigned and my appointment couldn't happen. No call, no email, no effort to notify me. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the clinic, and not once has anyone returned my calls. Instead of fixing the problem or honoring the service I already paid for, staff keep trying to upsell me on other services. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I paid in full for laser treatments--not for excuses or sales pitches. This is extremely poor management and unacceptable customer service. If you cannot deliver the services you advertise and take full payment for, you should not be operating this way. Management needs to take accountability immediately. It literally feels like you have to beg them to provide the service you already paid for. Seriously!

I would like to preface by saying my facialist was great. My review is more for the environment. I…read moreexpected a private room or atleast a little bit of privacy for my "relaxing facial" but it was very similar to being at a hair salon. The floor plan is open, there was zero privacy and I was sat right by the front door. People checking in could see me, I could hear everyone's conversation and barely the music. It was overall awkward and not very relaxing from my previous experiences. I don't believe I will be going back- the price was very high for a nail salon feel. The facial itself, was enjoyable.

A lot of people I know go there for skin care services and that's exactly what I was looking for. After browsing their reviews on Yelp and the services on their website, I made an appointment for a few days later - it was super easy. I arrived to find a very spa-like, cozy and calming space. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and it wasn't very long before a staff member introduced themselves to me and led me back to a room to discuss my needs. I had Brittany and she was lovely. She asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for, gave me options to choose from, and even priced me out before getting things started. That was really appreciated by the way. She sold me on a membership type deal where they collect $50 on a monthly basis and add it to a "bank" that I can use for services in the future. It pretty much adds up over time until your next visit and then it doesn't feel like as much of an expense when the time comes. I've done this at nail salons and can confirm it's a nice thing to have. For this trip I went with some wrinkle relaxers, aka botox. It had been a hot minute since the last time I got it and it was a breeze. Pain free to the point where I hardly felt it. My results came in within a week or so and they're great. I definitely plan on continuing so I can maintain some youthful skin as I age. I have no doubt that I'll give their other services a go in the future. I'll end with a few things I always look for in a business.. This spot is locally owned, it's affordable, the service was great, and the place is really clean.

SECOND, when I did my consult, ROBIN body shamed me. She completely misrepresented how the service works. She told me i was a pretty woman but needed to take pounds off. They did not measure them, I did and B. i did not lose anything off of them. i have spoken to the very dismissive office manager, Margie, and she said it is non refundable and offered me free sessions... Why would I sit under those lights again that do not work. Then I spoke to Lori in the Ohio office who assured me she would have someone call me. It has been a week and NOTHING!!! I would like to WARN ALL WOMAN WHO THINK OF TRYING THIS ****DO NOT**** AND they will swear my results were GREAT. Well for 1650.00 I should have shed more inches than I did. I would have NEVER agreed to spend that much money if they are saying average is 20 inches OVER ALL THE BODY....... And through the whole conversation my husband was one the phone. She had me so hyped up thinking this was a great thing and she convinced him who was not sold on it. ***********STAY AWAY.............................DO NOT DO IT****************** I AM SURE THE 2 GOOD THAT HAVE GIVEN REVIEWS ARE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I am not Dr. Payne's usual clientele and my exercise and physique are not typical for her laser treatments, I was skeptical at the efficacy of the Zerona laser. I will most definitely be returning in the future. I do hope Dr. Payne plans on updating her facility. Either she made this up or this is Company policy of which is not on the website.
