Backstory: I have been battling unsightly facial hair as a female for 8 or so years now thanks to PCOS. With the price of the Groupon being so affordable, I figured I had nothing to lose considering the amount of money I've spent on waxing over the years. I have had a *wonderful* experience at Jiva Med Spa! From the front desk staff, to the initial consultation, to the appointments ALL staff has been AMAZING! That kind of delay, with zero communication, is completely unacceptable. After the first treatment, there was no follow-up whatsoever. It's clear this business does not prioritize its customers once they've paid. It only gets worse. My second treatment was scheduled for March 26, and again, no one bothered to inform me of any issues. I had to call myself to confirm, only to find out that Tisha had resigned and my appointment couldn't happen. No call, no email, no effort to notify me. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the clinic, and not once has anyone returned my calls. Instead of fixing the problem or honoring the service I already paid for, staff keep trying to upsell me on other services. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I paid in full for laser treatments--not for excuses or sales pitches. This is extremely poor management and unacceptable customer service. If you cannot deliver the services you advertise and take full payment for, you should not be operating this way. Management needs to take accountability immediately. It literally feels like you have to beg them to provide the service you already paid for. Seriously!

In the past I have recommended it but will never do so again…read more I have been a long time, loyal member since they opened their first location in 2014 in Columbus, OH. I calculated what I've spent over the years, and it is more than $24,000. I've had some bad experiences but never complained. During the pandemic, they canceled everyone's membership so they could get out of giving their members a free annual service. I had to renew my membership and no longer received many of the perks that came with the initial sign-up. Before the pandemic, I started to notice a lot of turnovers among their staff. When I went to get my lips done for a second time, it was with a new staff member. I told them I wanted what I had before, but she did something different, and the results were awful, but again, I did not complain. In the past few years, they have become extremely pushy about upselling, trying to get you to add extra services, and to purchase their expensive products. In May I purchased one of their skincare products for about $125. As I started using it, the pump would work sometimes and other times it would not work at all. I returned with the product during the first few days of June. I asked if I could swap it for one that worked. I was not asking for anything for free and the product I was returning was full, barely used. I was made to sit there for nearly 30 minutes while "management" decided they would not replace the product. I was livid and humiliated. The product never did work for me and it's packaging does not allow for me to get it out any other way so I'm out $125. After thinking about it, I canceled my membership and asked that my June membership fee be returned. They refused. I was then charged a membership fee for July. I contacted again and asked for my money back. They said they had a 30-day cancelation policy, and I would need to use the $200 toward a service by the end of July. I was forced to go back in and get a service I did not want to avoid losing my money. I'm sure there are plenty of other places better than Juvly, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I highly recommend you do the same. I want to go somewhere my business is appreciated. Juvly would rather lose a loyal customer than replace a defective product. Hope that $125 you scammed me out of was worth it.
