i've been coming here regularly for the better part of the past 6 months. i've found my go-to Mexican place in the area. i'm pretty sure a family runs this joint. the customer service is always excellent. they facility is always clean. most importantly, the food is outstanding. i'm pretty basic w/ my Mexican food orders tbh, i'm a taco and burrito man. but brother, let me tell you how hard it is to find outstanding tacos and burritos not just in Phoenix, but imo the entire Southwest. tucked into a somewhat shady strip mall at Thomas and 32nd Street, you might miss this spot. DON'T. plenty of parking. the staff is always welcoming. their side sauces selection is probably the best i've had in AZ. i know this is taboo to say, but when i lived in CA, i used to love Baja Fresh (sue me). For sure the best taco joint in greater PHX area. You're welcomed by the workers into a clean restaurant with proper signage. The manager Yuley (Lorena ) is helpful and suggestive when needed, and makes sure your order and your visit is pleasant. Food portions are great and the food is actually made to order - it comes out hot every time and you can taste the ingredients properly. Price to food ratio is excellent. What a terrific visit we had here yesterday. Friendly service behind the counter with loads of options. I cannot begin to tell you how delicious the tacos were. This place is MY JAM! My husband and I dine here nearly every Wednesday, and I've tried almost all the different tacos, sopes and sides and everything has been delicious! We are always served with smiles and you can tell the people making the food LOVE food and LOVE what they do because you can taste it in the food, which is always worthy of a photo. Our favorites are the "JT" Urban taco, street tacos, and crispy beef or papas (potato) tacos. The chile rellenos taco was also really good and honestly - just work your way through the menu like I did and try one of each! The white meat chicken and the carnitas are always on point. This place is very very good as this is a return visit. They make everything to my knowledge fresh in house including tortillas. People are great food is great salsas great and now they offer birria. Not sure if I'm spoiled by the food truck scene but theirs just didn't have that punch of flavor when you bite into them. Stopped by here for a quick lunch and I was excited to try it based off of the great reviews. I was unfortunately a little disappointed. I ordered the carne asada burrito and while the carne and tortilla were pretty good, the overall burrito was actually pretty cold and the cheese wasn't even close to being melted. It's not very appetizing when you're biting into a cold burrito. I also wasn't a big fan of the salsas. Flavors were decent and needed more spice. The portion sizes were very small too. The carne burrito is almost $12 and it looked like a kids size burrito. The service was really nice and the food came out super quick but a cold carne asada burrito with cold unmelted cheese did not set up for a good lunch. read more

Nestled in an unsuspecting corner lot, facing away from traffic and easy visibility, with a name that makes little to no sense, this spot has some of the best fish tacos in the valley. None of the other bites have been bad, but the crunchy, yet not greasy fry on the beer battered fish is a true delight. Perhaps the fish is a little oversized for the taco itself, but that's a good problem if I've ever heard of one. The salsa bar has three fantastic choices to gussy up your entrees, bonus pickled onions and jalapenos to really dress it up, lime of course, and cukes to serve as a salsa delivery vehicle until the tacos arrive. Need a refreshment? Slammin' horchata and a pepino agua fresca are available. Need a little more and they've got brews, hard stuff, and great happy hour deals. Short on cash? I saw an ad for this place on insta and happened to drive by it so I wanted to check it out. Walking in, it's a very clean and refreshing interior. Everything from the colors, to the chairs and tables is great and cohesive. My buddy and I weren't too hungry so we just got a al pastor huarache and a birria taco paired with some horchata. I wasn't a huge fan of the menu because I personally prefer photo driven menu's rather than a ton of text. They bring the food out to you rather than doing counter service and have a salsa bar. The green avocado salsa brought the heat and was my favorite! The food however was a bit lackluster, but not bad. The beans need an extra oomph to really make the huarache worth it 14$. Birria is everywhere now so it's tough to stand out. HOWEVER, their horchata was the real show stopper. Loved the horchata with the bits of coconut, fruit, and nuts. Super refreshing and delicious. While the food had room for improvement, I think the overall experience was a good one and could see myself stopping by for some horchata and giving a fish taco a try in the future. read more

After eating at their restaurant we decided to have them cater our mother in law's memorial service. We ordered a lot of food. And it was enough to feed everyone with leftovers for people to take home. I would say about 40 people were at my sister in laws place and everyone ate 2-3 times. With left overs. They come in and set up. They give you all the servings utensils. The food was amazing! We got the 2 beef and 2 chicken fiesta trays The sea food platter and we picked salmon And the tacos platter. You pick 2 proteins. So we picked 2 steaks and 2 chicken and one carnitas and Al pastor. All the platters come with rice and beans with their chips and salsa. You know it's good when you eat it so quick you forgot to take a pic! The grilled fish tacos are by far the best I've ever had! Everything was cooked to perfection and SO fresh. The fried fish were ok but a little too much breading for me. The rice and pinto beans!!! Omg I was so full but I couldn't stop eating them! The rice was fresh and fluffy. And you know how some pinto beans have no flavor and they put too much cheese on top? Not these, they had so much flavor and the perfect amount of cheese! Just added carne asada (forgot to add jalapeños) and the nachos had refried beans. These nachos with the limited ingredients were bomb!!! The carne asada was great and the beans had a great flavor and texture plus the chorizo cheese gave it a great kick!! The salsas were a great addition too. Service was great, the ladies working the front were friendly and efficient. One brought my to-go order to my seat as I was waiting. Waiting time was minimal during the busy lunch service.
